Having spent the better part of an hour getting the “there’s something wrong” error when using Amazon Unlimited I’ve finally given up. Worked for years, now I can’t listen to s*it. Done venting

Is there any reason a Connect:Amp could not be used as a standalone third party sub output using the sub Pre-out? I understand the limitation with the sub output being disabled while the C:A is configured as a rear surround amp, but more specifically why could the software not be updated to allow the .1 channel be utilized by a standalone C:A? I don't have any desire to purchase Sonos subwoofers when I already have very nice servo controlled powered subs. I already have two spare C:A gen 2 amps. The lack of this ability to integrate third party subs is the main factor dissuading me from buying Sonos soundbars. As far as I know this configuration is also not possible presently with the Sonos Amp as well? Is this a massive feature oversight, or a thinly veiled attempt at selling subs in the Sonos ecosystem? 

I have 10 sonos zones at home.   A mix of rooms with everything from single or stereo speakers, to full home theater setups.    It crosses over 4 different floors in an old house with a lot of walls.  I use Alexa often to initiate playing music, mostly from Spotify.I have a pretty robust EERO mesh Wifi network.  And generally, things work. However, I have times when things don’t play.  The Sonos App is not responsive.   Or I have to ask Alexa multiple times to do things.I was wondering if I should try plugging a few of my Sonos speakers directly into Ethernet.  There are a few locations where I can do that.  However, I am worried that that puts me into a weird mix of network types.Does anyone have any advice on this concern or my idea? 

I have a single Sonos Connect Gen 2 in my setup. It is connected via Ethernet, and WiFi was previously deactivated. After encountering sound issues, I decided to reinstall the system. I deleted the Sonos app, reinstalled it, and performed a factory reset on the Connect.The Sonos app finds the system and prompts me to press the pause button. After doing so, I get an error message stating that it cannot connect to “”. I tried changing the WiFi name and connecting to a different network, but no wired or WiFi networks are detected.I suspect the Connect's WiFi is still disabled, and the installation process cannot reactivate it. I'm now stuck and unable to complete the setup.Please assist with resolving this issue or provide guidance on re-enabling WiFi to complete the setup process.Thank you.

My Sonos Arc Ultra is connected to my LG OLED G3 via eARC.I also have an Apple TV connected to the TV, and I can control the soundbar's volume from it.However, when I power off the Apple TV, the TV shuts down, but the soundbar does not.Previously, when I had an AV amplifier connected via eARC to the TV, I could power on/off all devices using the Apple TV.Is there a way to achieve the same with the soundbar setup?Thank you in advance,Kévin

I have an arc + 2 subs + 2 One SL’sConsidering going to the era 300’s to enhance the movie experience with the collection I have. But I also play a lot of music off spotify usually, stream netflix/hulu...etc.Currently with my set up I am able to hear sound/music come off of all the speakers.If I upgrade to Era 300’s (as surrounds), it seems like nothing will play on those spekaers at all unless it’s atmos only content? Is that correct? Just going through the reviews and forums.I understand the front driver won’t fire when it’s set up as surrounds which is fine, but to not get any music/sound out of it at all when my One SL’s do is a little crazy. Hope I’m wrong. Can someone tell me what’s up?

Well I waisted 90 mins of my day today on an issue with the S2 App.  The problem is that my paired Play 3’s in my Study appear in my S2 App on my phone, but whenever I leave the app (with the music playing), and go back into the App, the App shows no music and I cannot therefore control the music volume etc.  Useless when I need to pause the music immediately.  Eventually it reappears after 45-60 seconds, but repeats each time I leave the S2 app to do something else on my phone.  So after speaking to the Sonos Support helpline on the phone, they decided that it was because my Play3’s are too old and the processor cannot cope anymore!  It was suggested I upgrade (save 15% on the upgrade programme).  I won’t be doing this.I’m posting this because this is the biggest load of rubbish I’ve experienced in 15 years of using Sonos and spending thousands of £ on equipment.  I have a cinema set up, portable, one in my bedroom and another pair in my kitchen.The reason this is rubbish is because w

When I try to Connect my arc to my New LG tv, it fails every time. I put the tv in arc mode, and try connecting, but it goes back to tv speaker mode. the Two units do not speak with eachother

How can I connect my Arc wirelessly to my TV?

I have tried twice to fix my Sonos access issue to my PC music library by contacting Sonos support. All my PC and Android Sonos updates are current. I was able to establish the connection for 1-2 days and then it goes away… link does not exist. My last contact with Sonos was 11/11/24. hello I would like to connect my TV to the sonos amp but I can only use an optical cable already installed (sheath in the walls) is there a possibility to connect it via an adapter?thanks

Hi,I set up my arc ultra, sub 4 and era 300 surrounds today. The system is great except for one issue. My surrounds are way too loud. I have set the era 300’s on 80cm high stands (so they are ant ear height) and placed them 1.5 meters away from me to the side, slightly behind with them pointing towards my ears.  I ran full trueplay with my iPhone but the surrounds are very loud, in a “shouty” kind of way. I’ve used the app to lower surround volume but it only goes to -15 but I think I need -30! The issue is with both surrounds so it is unlikely there is a fault with the system. I also tried turning down height in case this was the problem but it made little difference.  The volume of the arc is perfect but when the same sound (while gaming) comes from the era’s is mega loud and very uncomfortable. The same issue occurs on my 4k blu ray player and Apple TV. It occurs in anything Dolby Atmos as far as I can tell. I tried turning everything off and on again at the mains in case it was a g

My current set up is Arc Gen1, Sub Gen 2, and two Sonos Ones… I want the Arc Ultra but will it be compatible with the Sonos Ones and Gen 2 Sub? Thank you. 

The Sonos S2 app is repeatedly crashing on iOS 17.6.1it opens then closes. I tried going through the Sonos S1 app, but same results.  S1 does not crash, but will not access Sonos S2 through S1. It sends me back to Sonos latest updated app, which then crashes.  if I go to speaker, it plays last album I was playing before this Sonos update mishigoss.  while I’m complaining & explaining, I would appreciate it if  the Sonos app was visible on locked home screen so I can see what’s playing without having to login to iPhone to see track.  

I have 2x Play 1, Playbar and a Move 2, all were connected to my Wifi network and worked fine until recently when it stated that it could not find any products. I rebooted all products, rebooted my wifi router and still nothing. I followed all the guidance on the Sonos support pages and still unable to connect. When searching for the devices it will find them and say I am connected and then asks for my wifi password, which I am entering correct and says it is unable to connect to the network. Tried, reinstalling the app, restarting my phone and rebooting the router and still the same issue. In the end I had to factory reset all the speakers. I’ve tried setting up a new system and upgrading the network in the app and nothing happens. I contacted Sonos support a couple of days ago to see if they could help and they couldn’t find a solution at the time. I told them I was getting a new broadband provider so they said wait until this is installed and try again. I’ve not done that and still

When things first started going wrong I was hopeful it would soon be fixed. But here we are months later and it still does not work. I’ve been using Sonos since 2006. I have two surround systems which I used with Apple TVs. I’ve managed to sell my other speakers but occasionally I like to listen to music without the TV … and it’s simply too frustrating now. 

I’ve setup Sonos arc with LG G4when I change volume, I see on my TV only +/-Is there a way to show a number associated with volume? TIA

I have a multi speaker system mostly bought new (3 x S5 Gen 1, 2 x Play 1 Gen 1 and a Beam Gen 1 with 2 more Gen 1 Play 1s linked to the Beam), all operating on S1. My daughter has very kindly recently given me a new Roam 2 for my birthday which I’ve only discovered after opening it is not compatible to S1 and can only operate on S2 or the new Sonos App. I understand that I could upgrade most of my S1 speakers apart from the S5s,  but the S1 system works perfectly for what I bought it for, playing my own music library,  so in view of the many negative issues the new App appears to be experiencing I’d prefer to set up a separate system for the Roam 2 on S2, for the time being at least. I’ve done some reading on here but find it all a bit confusing. Would someone be able to provide a step by step guide to creating a new system for the Roam 2 that doesn’t make my existing S1 system vulnerable to losing music library, playlists etc.My current iPhone 12 only has the S1 app and I’ve become a

I have a Sonos amp which is wired to two in ceiling Klipsch speakers. I've also got a playbar on the TV on the same room. Everything is grouped together under "family room" and working for 5 years. Just noticed while playing music from Spotify that the playbar is working fine but no music is coming through the passive speakers. I've tried rebooting the system and the wifi and no luck.  Only thing I've changed is updating the app. Could that have caused it?

Hi community I've just swapped my broadband from Sky to Virgin Media (hub5) and I've tried several attempts to get my sonos to connect to the new WiFi and so far I've failed.So far I've tried the following:1. Factory reset the sonos (play 1 - older model)2. Split 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz3. Plug the play1 to the router with a ethernet cable My sonos app (on my phone) can find and connect to the sonos (when setting up a new system) but when it asks me to then connect to the 2.4ghz network it can't connect (and I'm definitely putting the password in correctly!!)Please can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?Screenshot of my hub settings below:

Two of the three speakers are not playing in the group.

I am trying to set up connection to app. When I get get to activate to activate  white and green flashing light, I pressing it does not activate.  

Like a lot of people on here my Sonos Roam has stopped working, charging and not able to be rebooted.Ive tried alternative charging leads and feel out of options.should I sit on wait for 1hr or is there an email address I can contact to try and get help?
