Arc Ultra dropping out

I have an Arc Ultra and Era 300 surrounds. Sky is fed to the TV in HDMI and Arc Ultra connected to HDMI Arc socket.  If I pause a programme then I loose all sound.  If I go into the TV settings switch from audio system to TV speakers and the back to audio system it works again. TV is Sony KD 65X850xC. Approx 9 years old.

While I don’t have an Arc Ultra, both my Arcs play what they’re handed by their respective TV sets. When they don’t, it’s due to the TV not providing them a signal to play.

I’d be checking for firmware/software updates to your TV, then talking to Sky about the sound dropping when you pause play back.
