When I sign into the Sonos (B/W) app and regardless of what I select once in the app it tells me to log out and log back in. My Play1 speakers stopped working months ago and I cannot get them re-added to the system because I can’t get past message to log out and log back in.  Any ideas?

Please try the „reset app“ option within S2 app (account… app settings). That should erase any cached data. After restarting the app reconnect to your existing system and try again to login as system owner with your Sonos account data.

What’s de “Sonos B/W app”?

Did you try removing the app and installing it again?

The Sonos black and white colored app. Yes I have re-installed the app several times.

Are you using the right email address? Go onto the sonos.com website and log in using your account using the email address you have been trying to use for system.  Are your speakers listed there?

Also, is your system using Sonos S1 or S2?

Try logging into play.sonos.com, that’s a better verification if you have multiple Sonos accounts.

I’m using S2 and my Play1 speakers do show up on the app and are tied to my correct email address. Interesting when logged into the play.Sonos.com it says no system found.

For future reference. Since the new S2 app, both apps are black and white in my eyes.

I also think it’s quite more easy to talk about S1 and S2 app instead of colors.
Some call it grey, sone call it black… but a 1 is a 1 and 2 is a 2. 😉
