In our living room we have a couch facing a wall, where a Samsung Frame TV is mounted on. To the left of the couch, we have a sideboard which houses the electronics for the frame tv. Is it possible to put the Arc ultra on this sideboard? Essentially when watching TV, the sound bar would be firing from the left side, rather than in front of whoever is watching TV. Would the sound feel off balance?

Absolutely.
The soundbar is designed to be under or over the TV. Putting it sideways would be like going to the movies and turning your seat 90 degrees.
