Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

I have an old Sonos system which plays my music library stored on a Buffalo NAS.  I have recently purchased a new Assustor NAS and wish to transfer the music library from the Buffalo to the Assustor.  I intended to back up the Buffalo to cloud storage and then restore it to the Assustor, however I cannot find the music library on the Buffalo.  In the Sonos app it is listed as being at //Hs-dhgled4/Music but I cannot see this in the  Windows file manager (I have turned on “show hidden files and I can see my photo folders).  Can anyone help me please?

Is it possible that my kid only has access to her own speaker. She find it funny to take control over  the speakers around the house🤯🤯

Sonos radio is not opening. Asks me to log in. I do. But again nothing happens  

Just upgraded from an Arc and Sub Gen 3 to Arc Ultra and Sub 4.Both devices are connected via ethernet cable.I am able to disable WiFi for the Arc Ultra.But for Sub 4, there is no option to disable WiFi - is this normal for Sub 4?

I have a large living room.  Home Theater is amazing!  But blasting music sucks.I have an Arc, full size Sub, 2xOnes (back).   I would LOVE to add another full Sub (which I see I CAN to the Theater system) and I would love to add LEAST 2 x Era 300s (front pair) or even more.    BUT… from everything I’m reading I can’t play music with those speakers even if I drop out the ARC.  I can’t select a group/room that includes all those where most of those speakers are also in the group/room/home theater system.Is there a way to expand my existing home theater system to include Era 300s? Or is there a way to easily toggle between home theater as is and Era 300s but include the subs and ones without manually dropping and adding speakers every time I want to play music?Any other ideas?How do people that have big living rooms and like to rock the house set up sonos systems?Thank you!!

The Sonos operation system is no longer supported on my iPhone 7, even though the iOS is ajour on my phone (iOS 15.8.3).When i bought the speakers, there were much more funktionalitet features than now - how can Sonos solve it?

When I search with the updated Sonos IOS-app, the results for my Plex service only show albums and artists. All songs are grayed out and cannot be selected to play and cannot be added to the queue. This problem does not occure with the Spotify service. When using the wep-app (play.sonos.com), songs of the Plex service can be found and played as expected.  Since the Windows app is working as expected, this seems to be a bug in the IOS-app. Unfortunately the queue cannot be altered in the web-app, so I have to switch between the IOS app and the web-app to play my music as intended using my iPad. 1. Can anyone conform this as a bug in the IOS app?2. Is editing of the play-queue expected as a feature in the web-app?  

Why does my Sonos Move 2 battery drains off completely, when not in use for a couple of days even when it is shut down. My Sonos Roam don't have the same problem 

Frankly disgusted that I can’t set these up without Wi Fi, use Blu -Tooth or pair them.Previously I had 2 powered speakers (Still have). Just connected them to a quality Blu - tooth adaptor and instant stereo connection. Totally Wi Fi independent. We can choose whether we want external services you know. Or crucially, we should be able to.No wi fi? Then you’ve got chunks of black uselessness. I will never buy your products again - and they weren’t cheap. Give us stuff that works in any situation and stop taking the bung from Amazon and the like.  - which you clearly have.Don’t expect anything other than a corporate speak reply so just don’t bother. Dreadful.May be think about what a speaker should basically be able to do without the internet. It’s been an expensive and disappointing experience for me.

I have the new Samsung S25 Ultra and running app version 80.16.32. I also have an S23 Ultra that I getting ready to trade in that is running the same app version. When I open my Sonos app, the recently played items at the top flash very briefly with what I have played, but then they go blank. I cannot tap on any of them and I cannot seem to find a way to get them to display. Is anyone else having this issue, or had it and resolved it?Thanks for any help.

No change in devices but no longer see Atmos in Now Playing on the Sonos app. I can get Multichannel PCM but no Atmos. My Apple TV 4K device used to see a separate Living Area set of speakers as an audio choice. Now I only see the Apple TV. When I select that option all I get is AirPlay, no Atmos. Apple told me to contact Sonos. Sonos chat support no help. Recommendations?

Can I get a discount if I upgrade old speakers for the latest ones

It’s obvious that SONOS doesn’t has the awareness let alone the knowledge / experience to understand that home and business networks are increasingly more complex and thus are on a rapid pace to make themselves irrelevant in the market.  Privately, professionally and for my clients we’re no longer recommending Sonos. Not until segmented VLANS are supported via an advanced configuration option. There is NO technical excuse why this couldn’t / shouldn’t be made to work. 

Hey everyone - I have a pretty old Samsung TV (UA46C7000) that doesn’t support eArc, it does have an Arc port but it only outputs PCM.I’ve been using the Xiaomi MI Box Gen 2 and I’ve connected it to the Sonos Beam usingand optical cable. This give pretty bad results as the sound is metallic at times and is in stereo.I’ve seen loads of good reviews on the Arcana being able to convey Dolby Atmos to the Beam. Does anyone have any experience with this specific setup? (Mi box → Arcana → Beam).Will it work seemlessly? Perhaps there’s a cheaper solution that’s I’m not aware of?Many thanks!

Era does not have blue tooth connection  Does not connect to network 

I would like to set up two era 100s with an era300

After two calls and several hours on the phone with Sonos, I cannot connect the library to Sonos S1. Sometimes Sonos doesn’t find the existing system and posts a firewall problem. There is no firewall.I have made Music folders shareable, granted Sonos full disk access, and rebooted everything.Has anyone found the magic settings to make the system work? If so, please share. 

Still missing the alphabetical jumplist sidebar when trying to search artists in My Library essentially rendering app useless.  I’m not gonna scroll for 5 minutes to get to Yo La Tengo.  Please figure this out sooner than later.  App has been FUBAR for quite a bit.  Any fix on horizon?

I cannot believe that the app has still not resolved basic functionality and is so slow in response times. I am sick to death of apologists telling me it's my connectivity. It is not; Sonos seem prioritising rollingout new features as pose to resolving essential issues such as stop, start, volume variation etc. Luckily I still managed to protect the old app on my PC, and this works like clockwork. However, the moment I use the new app you want to smash your he'd against a wall after 5 minutes waiting for it to respond. I would ask that the Sonos plants in these threads don't start telling it's my wifi. It isn't.

I setup my Era 100 speakers using the Sonos app on my iPhone. I bought them to use to play sound on my iMac computer that I just purchased.  How do I set them up for use on my iMac?

I hired Best Buy to update my Sonos system which has been broken since April or May.  By broken, I mean that there is no old or new version that meshes with Windows 11 version 26100.3037.  Is Sonos assisting them in at least getting my digitized albums to create the catalog by browsing to my music folder and updating my system?  Further, is there currently any ability to play my music?

I have a turntable/record player connected to one of my Sonos Era 100 speakers. The connection is through a RCA/3.5mm cable + Sonos line-in adapter. I’ve managed to get it working with the single Sonos speaker. But when I try to set up the speaker with another Era 100, as a stereo pair the output from the record player stops working. I’d like to be able to use my speakers in common way, through my phone/laptop but also connected to the record player. Is it possible to play the output from the turntable in stereo mode? 

Left speaker is working fine but right speaker is flashing green and not playing. How do I get it to play again? Thanks- 

I have client that has a sonance 8 channel amp. We want to hook his TV up to the amp for the speakers. How can we do this? The tv is outside so we can't run an Hdmi and he doesn't want a sound bar. I was told that he could get an audio video receivers that can work off the tv through blue tooth. But not sure. Does anyone know how this can be done. Thanks Jeff Sequeira
