Same room name for different amps

My system originally was set up with 4 amps and 4 separate rooms (kitchen, dining, workout, and patio). Somewhere something “reset itself” and now I only see two rooms on the app (kitchen & dining room). However, when I set to play music in the kitchen it also plays in the patio, and when I play music in the dining room it also plays in the workout room.

I attempted to reset (simple unplug and plug back in). It still does the same thing.

Any guidance how to get back to the four separate rooms?

OK, figured it out. The app somehow connected the second amp to the rooms I listed as surround sound amps. When I disconnected the surround sound amp, it went back to the original set up.

Try force closing the controller App. If this does not cure the situation, reset or reinstall the App. Noting critical is stored in the App.

Thanks Buzz, I tried that and didn’t work.

However, I figured out that I have two amps assigned to these rooms. So I figure I somehow “forget” one and add it back to the other room name.

Great you let the community know what you did to solve things. Strange that this just happens though - the app should not be able to do that without user input.
