Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

So my ERA 300’s will be here tomorrow and plan on replacing my 2 IKEA SYMFONISK.My question is once setup as a surround, if I press the Bluetooth button does it automatically allow me to use as Bluetooth or is there more to do in app? thanks in advance

I have a Sonos system that consists of two Play:5 (Gen 2) speakers, two One (Gen 2) speakers, and five One (Gen 1) speakers.The two Play:5 speakers are in a stereo pair and are connected to an Ethernet port in my wall that runs to a UniFi switch.The Sonos system is on a VLAN that is separated from other VLANs in my network via firewall rules.  The devices (phones and laptops) that run the Sonos apps are on their own VLAN.My Sonos system generally works well in this setup and always has.  Occasionally, it seems slightly slow or it loses connection to a Plex server on another VLAN.  Also, when I install an update via the Windows app, I always get a message that says the update failed, even though it actually succeeded.  But generally speaking, I don’t have any major issues.I’ve allowed all of the ports listed on

I have the Sonos Arc and Sub Gen3 and I would like to wall mount the Arc under my tv. TV is an 85” Sony and is hung on the wall with a fully articulated mount. The tv does not sit flush on the wall - it is 6 inches out from wall to the front of the tv. If I use the Sonos Arc mount or equivalent after market, the Arc will be almost flush with the wall and ‘under’ and not in front of the tv, even though I plan to mount 4” to 5” below the tv. Seems like the upwards firing speakers would go into and into the gap behind the tv.Does this pose any issues with sound quality or sound bar functionality? Does the Arc need to come out off the wall and be “in front of” the bottom edge of the tv! If yes, am I better off getting a scissor style mount for it (Sanus Extendable Sound Bar Mount) or mounting a floating shelf? I have a problem, as soon as I listen to a song and I want to turn on the radio linked to this song, the radio titles change every second without having time to listen to them.

As in the subject, I have a spotify Premium Duo Account.Sonos in logged with user1, if I start streaming a Playlist from Spotify user1, every goes fine except that if I start listening with same user1 from another device, Sonos stops playing.Sonos neetwork is 4 Symfonsyk speakers Secondly, if the I starts streming a spotify user2 playlist, the streaming is interruptes ciclically by spotify advertisements like a free account). I user2 plays from spotify app there’s no any advertisments, correctly. How Can I do to solve?

Hi All, This seems to be a bug in the latest Sonos Update.it is really annoying as it defeats the purpose of having Sonos, it normally works fine on any station saved to My Tuner Radio (including BBC stations).All stations won’t play, it seems other users have the same fault. I have tried all the usual stuff (uninstall/reinstall the app, remove and add myTuner Radio as a service), fault remains.Sonos please supply a fix in next update so I can play a radio station via MyTuner Radio.Please help Urgently!Thanks, KJ

I have a Beam connected to my Apple TV with ARC. The Apple TV is connected to the router via ethernet. It plays on my LG TV.I set the Beam to be the default audio output but it keeps changing back to the TV speakers. It changes when I turn the TV off and on and sometimes it changes when I choose a different channel. Quite annoying. Any ideas?

 Hello everyone. I have two ERA 300 speakers paired in stereo. I connected them via Bluetooth to my Samsung The Frame TV. Sometimes I have sound, but most often I don't. Does anyone have any idea what I should do?

What do I do to play the music in my iTunes library on my Sonos connect? I’ve set sharing on the iTunes but after that I’m stuck. Read stuff about setting file pathways and stuff but franking it’s baffling.

I have an Arc connected to my LG TVIt used to occassionally give me an issue where when I switched inputs I would get no sound.Usually turning it off and on a few times would finally get it working. Then about 3 weeks ago I added another HDMI device to my TV and now it is difficult to get sound when I turn the TV on.Intially I was going into the sound source and changing to internal TV speaker then back to HDMI arc but would take a few attempts. Sometimes it would take 5 minutes of fiddling before it started to work. Very annoying. However I have discovered today that if I sit and wait for about 4 m inutes the sound fades in. This  has only happened twice so the jury is out. I often play music on the Arc during the day and then the TV goes on at night.I have a suspicion that it does not like changing sources and that is what the problem is but this needs more time to figure out Any help or advice wou

My Sonos Amp has a buzzing/humming sound coming from inside the unit. It is very audible even when no music is playing and speakers are disconnected. My local shop and the Sonos support have been unable to resolve the issue.Because it is out of warranty, Sonos will only offer a 30% discount on a new one. I am very hesitant to buy another when this issue could happen again (it seems to be a known issue when searching communities).Very disappointing response from Sonos. This is a high end piece of kit and should be backed up by Sonos. Anyone had this issue or had a better resolution?

Hello, i am not much into Sonos systems and everything, but i have 2 Sonos One SL speakers which are working independently on two different locations. Now i want to buy Sonos playbar and my question is can i connect those two speakers to playbar to form some sort of stereo system where playbar would be in the front below tv and speakers would be back in each corner? Is this even possible, and also is it gonna work on LG tv?

I don’t think I will get much sympathy but here goes.  We remodelled our living area last year and my husband would not do the research or perhaps did not care if the speakers (for surround sound) were hidden in the wall behind the primary seating area(which was my desire but not his). As a result the wiring /speakers which could have been in the wall are not.So we have two Era 300 white speakers and one white sub woofer (either the gen 3 or 4)- I do not know which. The modern, minimalist style condo (all white neutral colors) is open plan with the following rooms all open to each other and very few full height walls: living room(with the big TV, sonos beam or Arc(?) below the TV, an adjacent den, kitchen and dining room.  The sofa is against a 18’ h wall. Ceiling is sloped. Other than the TV wall,  which is actually not a solid wall but a custom wood 16’H room divider directly across from the sectional, there is no other wall nearby other than glass patio sliders. After months of misery with this god awful app and failing cloud service, I'm saying goodbye to my Sonos system. A minimum a speaker should be able to do is play music from your supported music service. If you can't even do that properly anymore then there's no point sticking around. I ordered a set of Audio Pro instead. Goodbye Sonos. You will not be missed

i have a gen 3 sub that I’m connecting through the app on my iPhone (14 pro max) and it goes through all the setup steps to join my group just fine and works but it will not stay connected. it disconnects from the app and the network within minutes of working. I’ll reset the sub and redo the setup again only to end up in the same situation. Any recommendations?

My entire system could not be found by any of the apps (tried android, desktop). So I started a new system and so far only connected the beam back after a factory reset. If I start the desk top app (mac) it says “searching for your sonos system” on startup and then offers to connect. Every time. So it completely forgets that it was connected. It will also sometimes just popup a window saying that it needs to update the system, which then takes 2 minutes before it declares that the system is up to date.If I start on android or iOS it says it cannot find the system and then after 30 seconds it finds the system. But if I try to play a song on spotify it then fails. Skips to the next song. If I play from spotify, it sometimes plays a few seconds. It will also say often “connection to spotify was lost”Needless to say, my network works fine, spotify runs fine on my laptop and mobile devices. I have restarted everything and like I said did a factory reset.

Hi, This is so frustrating, I hope you can help me resolve this issue. My system incl Arc, Sub Mini and 2 x Sonos SLs.  It is in my Lounge (the router is in this room too). From the start my system has had difficulty maintaining Wi-Fi contact with my router.  The present issue is that one of the surrounds suddenly stopped working.  Every attempt to add it back into my system fails as it merely creates a new System creating a new room named Lounge 2.  It is silent when watching TV. Given the difficulties I’ve experienced throughout I am loathe to do it but I’m wondering whether I should delete my Sonos account, factory reset all my components and start completely afresh.  What do you recommend? Many thanks, Terry

I’ve had my same Orbi network for many years with the same sonos speakers for over a year without any issues.  Recently in the last month, speakers would pop in and out of the iphone app.  Same for my ipad.  I would try reconnecting it and it would be missing again.  I haven’t changed anything with my setup or network.  I’m guessing it was something that is happening on Sono’s end.  Can someone please offer a fix?  It’s so frustrating that I’m ready to abandon the entire Sonos ecosysytem all together.  I’ve been a customer since the very beginning but this is getting ridiculous.  Maybe we need to bring back the bridge.  I’m not willing to spend another dime on another Sonos device.

I currently have in wall speakers, no wireless.  How many amps and ports do I need to drive all 8 sets of speakers?  I want to put 2 rooms/sets of speakers together X 4 (LR & Kitchen, Outdoor kitchen & patio, Master BR & Bath, Study & Upstairs patio.)  I understand I can parallel the sets on one amp so I need 4 amps.  How many ports do I need?  I also have CD player, turntable and I wish to either hardwire or bluetooth an Ipod touch.Also can I use Audiosource AMP 100 instead of SONOS amp?  AMP 100 has A & B selectors.

Before Sonos updated to the new app, the current music album cover would display in full-screen. However, with the new app, this feature has been removed, and the album cover now appears much smaller. Is there any way to bring this feature back in the new app?
