Hi there, I have a Sonos Amp paired with Kef Q11 Meta floor standing speakers. I’m thinking of getting a Sonos Sub 4, my question is, will the sub make a difference to my listening experience? I saw that you can select the crossover frequency but as the Kef speakers go as low as 20Hz (in room response typically 26Hz) and the sub goes to 25Hz, can I set the crossover that low?

The Sub would not make a big difference for you in this case. You can not adjust the crossover frequency on the Sonos sub to compensate for missing frequency ranges on aftermarket speakers.

I would not add anything to the Q11 since they already go down to 25hz. You can hear much down that low anyway.. it's all vibrations and air displacement at that point.

EDIT: if you wanted to set the high pass crossover on the Q11s between 70 and 80 hz, a Sub may be be beneficial
