why is the sonos app so appalling and the WiFi connectivity so poor.?

It seems that everyone I use my Sonos system there's a problem and doesn't work! It's appalling how bad it is.  I have over£1,500 of kit and I feel like throwing it all away and buying stunting else. 

 

The sound is create but everything else is awful.  Sonos need to get its act together. I am surprised the people responsive haven't been replaced and appropriately skilled people employed to get the rest of the environment as good as the sound. 

For example tonight the help is overlaid and flickers when in use. It's awful. Totally amateurish.

I can't believe I'm saying this in 2025.

There seem to be some folk whose system works, and some who suffer. But, many have made changes to their configuration and seen improvements in system performance. I’m one of the lucky ones - high reliability, fast response, no dropped speakers or stuttering music play.
 

Are you resigned to just suffering, or do you want suggestions to try to improve your system’s performance? If the latter, describe your router/network/wifi setup with make and model and someone might have some setup suggestions to offer.
