EQ won't allow me access

I just purchased Sonos1SL speakers set them up. Everything works correctly except the EQ is grayed out and won't allow me to adjust bass and treble. I am very frustrated by this and am ready to return the speakers and post this issue. I've tried everything in settings.

That’s odd. Have you checked the Sonos One SL (there is no Sonos1SL) for updates, using the Sonos app (controller)? It sounds like there is the possibility that there is a mismatch between the firmware running on your speaker, and the controller running on your device. It’s supposed to update when you installed it, but there may have been a subsequent update that got missed, for some reason. And Sonos dis push out an update yesterday, I think.

Otherwise, I’d probably call Sonos Support directly to discuss it.

When you speak directly to the phone folks, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.
