Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

My IKEA desktop symfonisk will not pair with my Sonos app.

Some of my playlists dissapeared. How do i get them back since i worked on them for years.  

Help! My Iphone16 Pro can’t seem find and control our Sonos Play:1 speakers. Weirdly it did work for about 10 minutes before it then dropped out and disconnected.Iphone 16 ProiOS 18.1Router: BT Home Hub 5 Checks I’ve done:I can access and control the system via the Web Browser app. I have installed and reinstalled the iPhone Sonos app I have checked that the iPhone Sonos app is up to date I have instructed app to ‘forget current system’ and then reconnect to system The Sonos software is up to date I was sat right next to the wifi router and the sonos speaker whilst undertaking these checks and installations My husband can still control the speakersIssuesI can successfully connect to the system App also has successfully reconnected to streaming services But the Sonos App won’t list and display speakers. I received a Move 2 as a gift back in December. I was able to get it set up and connected to the SONOS app and also had no issues with bluetooth connectivity. I normally just connect the Move 2 through Apple Music or other family members connect to it through bluetooth. I recently went into the app to play music and my Move 2 was no longer shown in the app. I troubleshooted and tried to reconnect but nothing worked. Based on guidance for the app, I reset my Move 2 following the instructions (I had previously rebooted the Move 2 prior to reseting). Nothing has worked to get the app to recognize my Move 2. After multiple efforts, and after reading about all of the issues with the SONOS app, I just tried to turn on bluetooth and play music from my iPhone. Now Move 2 won't connect to my phone. I also pressed the bluetooth button on the back of the Move 2, but it no longer chimes when it's in bluetooth mode. Now nothing seems to be working on the Move 2.

Can I connect two components (a record player and a CD player) each with their own RC cables to one 3.5mm adapter? The 3.5mm adapter would have two pairs of RC ports on one side and one 3.5 out on the other side. Does such an adapter exist? I have the Pro-Ject T1 Phono SB Turntable that I can connect to a pair of Era 300 speakers set up as a stereo pair using the 3.5mm Line-in port and their adapter and it works. I have a vintage Magnavox CDB 473 CD player that I can also connect to the same Era 300 speaker in the same way and it works. I want to leave them both connected to the same speaker so I can play from either one without disconnecting one and connecting the other. What do I need to do that?

I have configureren a brand new Arc Ultra and 2 Era 300 as independent speakers, which works as a charm. As soon as I configure the Era speakers as surround speaker on the Arc, the 2 speakers are added to the same room and dissappear from the confguration, and dont produce any sound.  Any idea What could be wrong ? thanks Guy

I have a Sonos Roam SL...Is it okay to leave it plugged in and charging for 99% of the time (even when playing) or will this degrade the battery over time? Or should I occasionally use it on battery power to prevent “memory effect”?  

No lights No sound no network 

I’ve been gifted two Sonos speakers, I don’t know which type they are and I’m unable to set them up. They need to be set up with the Ethernet cables and I can see one of them available on the Sonos app but it keeps saying to log out and back in all the time. As soon as I unplug the Ethernet cable the speaker stops working. Does it need to be connected to use? Thanks. 

I’ve been using YouTube music for years on my Sonos system. I have a paid premium subscription. Recently I’m finding that it simply won’t play what I choose to play. It thinks about it for about 5 seconds, then loads a previous playlist that I was listening to. However, it’s temperamental, and will sometimes work normally…..which is very frustrating. I’ve added the Spotify service, which I don’t pay for, and it works perfectly. Sonos Radio also works perfectly. Definitely a YouTube music problem. I’ve contacted Sonos support, and they were o help in this case. I can use YouTube music perfectly fine with blue tooth or in my car. Just a Sonos/Youtube music issue. Has anyone come across this?

I am renting a villa with a Sonos system and cannot get the subwoofer to work.  When I try to add the sub in the app it asks me to sign is as an owner, which I not.  Is there any way to add the sub without being an owner of the system.  I don’t have the villa owners account login info.

Hi allUpdated iOS app this morning to 80.16.32 and we can no longer group speakers, getting a little need to update banner.When trying to update it just spins and eventually get an error page, but with no error codeFollowing steps to unplug Ethernet, reboot router, reboot switch, unplug and plug in again all speakers, uninstall app, reinstall app, restart phones etc all do nothing at all.Anyone else have this and any suggestions on how to resolve please?UK support isn’t open over weekend so kinda stuck.Cheers 

I had my Era connected with no problem to my system. with no change to anything, the system dropped (not connected) my Eras 100 and I had to disconnect from the power and reconnect. It worked for a about 15 minutes but then it disconnected again. Now it wont connect after Eras hard reset, network reset, and attempt to reconnect. Sonos app does not have a remove speaker option (blows me away that such a basic function is not available).I believe the software has glitched and the Eras is “stuck” and it wont allow me to reinstall it. I'm getting a new, intermittent but frequent bug where I get the Something Went Wrong error when trying to play an album from local library. The remedy seems to be to hit play on the first song on the album, rather than the play button on the album page itself. Doesn't seem to be an issue when streaming via Deezer though.

I currently use one Sonos ERA 100 to play CDS from my HIFI CD player through the Line In adaptor.My question is….can I use two Era 100’s, one from CD player left channel and one from the right channel that will give me a truer stereo effect ?I’m unsure about the ‘’pairing’’ effect ?Thanks all.

After recent updates, my sub 4 and sub mini no longer put out the bass as they did when I first purchased the subs a couple of months ago. I used to keep the subs at a setting of 8, now a setting of 15 doesn’t even hit lows like 8 used to.Nothing has changed in my setup - all speakers are in the same spots. I have retuned, adjusted EQs, and even reset the sub 4 to factor settings. Unfortunately, it’s as if the updates took power away from my subs. Has anyone experienced the same thing? Any suggestions?

Hi,i think i know the answer but.. i have a stereo pair of era300 and i enjoy them a lot in my bedroom. Depending on where i sleep, i’d like to adjust stereo left/right but there is nothing in the app. For my five i have a stereo left/right adjustment (single speaker) i suppose no chance to have it for era 300?

connecting 2 older Sonos Play :5 to my new TV (LG)I already have your new soundbar - but want to make my old Play - 5 speakers usefull again. /mats 

Since the recent update I can not see my SONOS system. My Pllaybase and SONOS One surround  speakers work but I have no app control anymore. I have tried all of he normal things I have had SONOS since mid 2000s so som experience. Any ideas on how I get it all working again?

Hi, I’m looking to set up a Sonos home cinema system and looking at the Arc Ultra as one of the components. Is anyone able to help with the seating of the speaker if it’s free standing please. Does it have feet or pads  on the underside and if it does, is anyone able to advice the dimensions of these at their widest points? Odd question sorry but I’m looking to see if it’s supported across its full width.Thanks.

I bought an Era 100 about 18 months ago for use in a small flat. It’s an old building and we’re on the top floor so the only WiFi option is a mobile dongle-type device (basically a 4g sim). It works fine though and worked for 12 months with the Era 100…. then nothing at all. After a couple of hours wait time (I gave up several times!) I finally spoke to customer support today to be told that mobile networks like this are not supported any more. So, I now have a redundant Era 100… what a waste! Sonos, how do I get my money back? You have moved the goalposts and the product that worked when I bought it is now useless. Has anyone else had the same issue? Is there a solution?
