I am having connectivity problems with some of my speakers. Does Sonos boost can really make a difference? Is there people who resolved these type of issues with boost?
Not all SONOS models will use BOOST. Which models do you have? What issues are you experiencing? Describe your network for us.
Play 1, play 3, play one sl, playbar, playbase, amp
most devices are connected to the WiFi network but the amp, playbase and 1 play one sl are wired
i am having problems with 2 of the play 1 that are setup in pair in my patio, there are the furthers from the WiFi router
As you already have multiple devices wired, a Boost should not really provide any further benefit.
When you wired the devices did you opt to “Disable Wi-Fi” in the app?
If so, enable Wi-Fi on the speakers again, this will allow the unwired devices to connect over SonosNet rather than directly with your router.
If the wired devices are giving you connectivity problems, check the ethernet cables for any damage and examine the connections.
If your system is using SonosNet, you can also select a different channel. Also check your router to ensure the 2.4GHz channel is set to a different channel from SonosNet. Choose only from Channels, 1, 6 and 11.
I disable the WiFi on the wired devices. I will try to re-enabled them, one of them, the amp is close to the play 1 having connectivity problems. I will also make sure to use a different channel on the router wifi
