Edited my post, as I thought I knew what you were doing but I actually re-read it and couldn’t work it out…

So you do not remember your password and this is somehow Sonos’ fault? Being “system owner” just pairs your account with your system. What’s wrong about that?

Eliminating passwords would create loads of fun for nearby teen and drive by hackers.

Hi @MadThornbergs

Welcome to the Sonos Community!

Sorry to hear of the issue you are having with logging in to the Sonos app.

The issue seems to stem from the fact that you have no speakers registered to the account that you are using here on the Community - if you are using the same account on your Sonos app, it is the wrong account - please sign in to the app with the same account with which you first registered your system.

If you don’t know what account that is, please log out of the app (User icon » Sign Out) and then transfer your system to a new email (Settings icon » General Settings » Transfer System Ownership).

When your wife installs the app on her phone, you can opt to sign her in with your account, which will give her permission to alter the system as she sees fit, or she can sign in with a different Sonos account and have no access to change anything (much as you don’t have now, and for the same reason).

I hope this helps.
