Hello all, I’m on the latest version of the Android app and latest version of Plex but I have found that my Plex playlist “Most Recent Podcasts” (which is in fact a playlist of recent downloads of MP3 files from various podcast apps rather than a straight “podcast” feed) can’t be opened from “Recently Played” -- it gives the error “Something went wrong” -- but if I find it in Sonos Favourites under Playlists, it opens just fine. It looks like Recently Played doesn’t save enough information or the wrong information to open the list despite it working fine from the Favourites section. Has anyone else seen this? And can Sonos do anything about this?

I am sorry to hear you are experiencing an issue while trying to initiate playback via the Sonos App from the Recently Played → Plex playlist.

I am glad it is still working for you if you go straight from the Sonos Favorites → Playlists but you shouldn’t get the “Something went wrong" error message.

I brought this up internally and we are currently investigating but a few more details would be very helpful for us:

  • What is the make and model of the android device you are using while experiencing this?
  • Do you have another android or iOS device to try reproducing? Does it have the same outcome?
  • May I ask if you can please share a screenshot while reproducing this and then Submit Diagnostics within 10 minutes of doing so. Please share the diagnostic number on a private message with me and not here in the thread.

The original phone is a Google Pixel 9 Pro, but I have exactly the same experience on a Samsung Galaxy Active Pad 2.
