Sonos update stuck on "getting started" - How long should I wait?

Update: After 20 min, I did end sonos app on my iphone and after oppeing it again, it showed 5 out of 6 units. Sonos Beam was the unit without update.

I could update the unit afterwards.

Question: My Sonos Beam does not show any “Noise Floor”. It shows 0, 0 , 0. Is it an issue? (it is not because of the update, as it was like this before.

I assume that you are displaying the network matrix. The newer units do not report here. Back in the day, I found the matrix to be very useful. Much of this data is available if you dig through the system, room by room, but it’s very time consuming to dig out the data elements. Currently, I have newer S2 units online and the matrix is empty.

 I second the suggestion of removing BRIDGE, Back in the early days, before consumer mesh networks were easily available, BRIDGE was very useful. In addition to supporting my scattered SONOS system in a house with very dense walls, I’d attach printers and home control gadgets to SONOS network ports. Typically, performance was in the 8-15Mbps range. Maybe, under unusually favorable conditions, I’d occasionally see something in the 30Mbps range. In a modern context this is lame. BRIDGE hardware issues, particularly defective power supplies, are becoming common. Unfortunately, they don’t simply fail, they become weird. In this case the easiest solution is to make sure that the players have the WiFi credentials and remove BRIDGE. If, for some reason, it is impractical to remove BRIDGE, replace it with a used BOOST.

Thanks for the replies. I removed the bridge from the configuration before the upgrade. I noticed that the bridge was freezing the system as a whole, although it didn't show any failures.

I updated my Sonos system to switch from Sonos Mesh to my Wi-Fi network in the hope of improving stability. I was experiencing a lot of music interruptions, and since my router's Wi-Fi signal is strong and reliable, I believe this may improve my Sonos experience.
