Not from the Sonos side, but as your issue is apparently from the Spotify app, you may want to check with Spotify.
Sonos has diagnostics that only Sonos employees can read, though. You may want to submit a system diagnostic within 10 minutes of experiencing this problem, and call Sonos Support to discuss it. Don’t post the resulting diagnostic number here, they get sensitive about GDPR.
There may be information included in the diagnostic that will help Sonos pinpoint the issue and help you find a solution.
When you speak directly to the Support staff, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.
It happens to me when I have so much guests in my home and the problem is the internet connection, try to put them more nearby to the router and try it again.
All the speakers downloads a bit of the next song (like 10 seconds) and if your internet is too slow that the song/podcast stops it prefers to next the song/podcast. I hope this helps you :)
