Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

I want to buy a sub for my arc ( not ultra ) soundbar. I have 2 first generation ikea symphonisk lampspeaker connected to the arc. Can I use every sub ( mini-gen 3-gen 4) with the arc. (And with the symphonisk also still working)

I have a pair of Sonos Five and a Sonos Amp conected to a Tv via HDMI Arc. The problem is when I play the TV sound via Amp the sound get skipped using the Sonos Five. It is very annoying and o could not fix yet. What can I do? They are at the same Wi-Fi net, I changed the HDMI cable but nothing happened! Thanks for the help 

I just want to announced that this 4year old problem has been solved and fixed! I’ve been doing a lot of readings and following all the instructions given but still don't have luck, until last Saturday, since im not using ittried opening and foundd out on the top part there is a ribbon like connected. From the top going to the drain system. Then VOILA!

Ace is grayed out in app. Any suggestions?

I have a question about the Sonos amp. I have the Sonance Mag 6.1 outdoor speaker system. My question is the volume has to be turned up quite high, like to 60 plus or higher. Is this normal or do I have a problem. I use the Sonos app through Android. Thank you 

Just flagging what I believe is a bug, using iOS app latest version (but this has existed for many months AFAICT).I tried hardwiring one of my Five speakers at some point last year. I ran into issues, probably caused by a smart switch in dumb mode, and quickly gave up.Since then, with no products hardwired, I have had the ability to edit SonosNet settings which according to the docs linked below shouldn’t be possible:“If all your Sonos products connect to your WiFi network, the SonosNet Channel will appear grayed-out in the Sonos app and cannot be changed.”https://support.sonos.com/en-us/article/change-your-sonos-system-s-wireless-channelSee screenshots below of persistent changes made to these settings:

Hi there anyone have issues with the wear detection of Sonos Ace? was working great but starting a few day ago stop working even after resetting or turn off the device.doesn’t matter what I am using as an interface, audiobook, Spotify, YouTube music or Sonos radio.

I have a legacy Sonos S1 system with 5 Connect:90s, 2 Play:1s, a Play3, and a Sonos S1 Playbar.  (I bought the last at a clearance site.)  My original Sonos Bridge has gone out - power supply I’m sure.  Neither ethernet port lights up, and it’s not my Orbi router or the cable (both check out by connecting a computer).  The Playbar is in the same room as the bridge.  Can I get the entire S1 system working by connecting the Playbar directly?  I will experiment tomorrow when the person who sleeps in the room is awake.  I also have a Boost but I think I need it for coverage (it’s a 3-story house on a hill).  If I can’t use the Playbar, can I use one of the Play1s?

Does any one have a fix for not being able to sign in as system owner and customer support telling you that you don’t have the correct credentials to sign in?? I am baffled as to why this is happening and I have 2 different locations so the factory reset solution would be a nightmare resetting multiple devices and hoping it would all sync up again.  It’s also crazy that customer support acts like they have never heard of this problem and clearly there a many people with this problem.

When I connect my headphones via stereo jack to my 5 it doesn‘t switch and still plays.It already worked half a year ago ….

Since a recent update to Sonos Build: 84163110 (MacOS Sequoia, Macbook Pro M4 MAX), I am seeing a lot of performance issues, interruptions and all-out failure.   I generally am using the Spotify App, with my speaker group selected, which is configured from Sonos.In between these failures and jittery behavior (which includes app playing but NO sound), I am seeing callouts to api.branch.io -- some of them fail, this causes Sonos to freak out, lose my speaker configuration/group.  Not good.This application needs to be able to operate without all these external dependencies being “live” all the time.  I can observe this behavior live, when I manually cut off access to api.branch.io with filters and Sonos again freaks out.Is anyone else experiencing this?  I’m not sure this is the best software implementation with these dependencies.

Hi! I have two era 100 (a stereo pair) connected to a sub mini. It works great if I use AirPlay, but if I connect using Bluetooth, the sound only plays on the stereo pair. How Can I connect to all three of them with Bluetooth? Update: I have tried to unplug all of them, plug them back in, and also removing the sub an adding it to the stereo pair. Hi all wnen I use the Sonos app to play Apple Music the last played songs and albums etc are not showing up and syncing on the actual Apple Music app therefore not going to my replay for the month. I have listening history on for the music app. Is there anything else I need to do within the Sonos app side?

Hi guys. I've just got my new speaker. Was wondering if the sound quality would be different from using mobile data and the bluettoth. Options . To using the sonos app and a fibre biradband connection plz??I can't afford both u see but don't know if I will lose quality in sound .alongside using the app etc .the pros and cons for either are 2 each. PROS:::: CANF USE MY MOBILE ON SONOS APP. THE DELAY CONS is slow when on phone to acer help etc . So don't end up completing what I'm trying to learn … No data when I'm out . For. Calls or tunes . To save on Spotify bill. I don't even know what I'm saying now. Infor action overload. But if anybody would know the difference please in broadband and mobile data when using a sonos speaker?? Thank you guysHannah 

The sound keeps dropping out on my beam gen 2, it happens randomly 

Currently have play bar with sub and amp to in ceiling surrounds. TV is 10 year Samsung. Planning on upgrading to Sonos arc ultra and a newer tv. Question is what tv is more compatible sony kxr7590 or lg g4? Want best 77” in a fairly well lite room with sliding glass doors about 10 feet away on perpendicular wall. I know a lot of info but this is important to for viewing Sunday afternoon football. Of course we watch crime dramas and movies at night. And when she’s not home I love to crank up the volume for a good disaster flick!

Hi Sonos CommunityI’m a newbie and would like some help pls.Context: For music I have a pair of Era 300s and Sub gen 3.  I have a large open plan “L” shaped living/dining/kitchen.  The Dining is in the middle module of the “L” and  has a high 4.8m ceiling.  But the two arms of the “L” have only 2.4m ceilings.    I am thinking of wall mounting the ERAs on the outer dining room wall(left side of pic) which will project music across the dining area and into the kitchen.  They would be mounted about 2.2m up the wall; immediately above the curtains which is the only available space.Problem: I am worried that in this location too much sound from the upward firing speakers will go up into high ceiling void and become lost.  To void this, is inverting the ERAs a good idea or not? Can I get an after-market cord that will go this far up

I have used Sirrius on my Sonos for years.  Suddenly I see the channels but when I tap on one, nothing happens.   Has been going on for about 3 months.   Have tried all the steps including deleting and reauthorizing but not working.   Anyone else having this issue and how to resolve?

I have a sonos connect that I have used for several years through a reciever.  I have it connected to one of the audio inputs.  Strangely it stopped playing.  I tried a reset several times by unplugging and that did nothing.  I tried a harder reset of the device and than re-added it to my system.  Great. It worked.  But only for about an hour.  Then no sound again. It sits right next to my wifi router. So it gets plenty of signal.  Because it played after the reset, I know it's not the cables.  Any suggestions? 

I recently updated my system to go from a wired / SonosNet system to an all Wireless WiFi system. When I went to add alarms , it would not let me save them. I can put in the information for the alarm but when I hit the save button nothing happens and the alarm does not save.  It seems like this was a problem for people about a year ago but was then resolved and alarms have worked for me up until just now so I can't work out what would have changed. I am using the app for Android on a Samsung Galaxy s24 Ultra 

Like a lot of other people I lost the ability to play my music files on Sonos. I have read many posts about this but nothing in them works. I tried to follow the “checklist” that was somewhere on the community forum to reestablish connection but it says to do things that are not possible options on my computer. I have spent a lot of time several times with the customer help department reinstalling the app and checking firewalls but nothing works. About ten years ago I could click a couple of times on my phone app and play whatever was in my music folders when ever I wanted. That option has been taken away for some unknown reason with the so-called “upgrade” over a year ago. I cannot understand why Sonos can’t reestablish the ability to play from our computers. I have a lot of older format music on mine that does not play on newer devices. I would be happy just to have the ability to play my music on the Sonos system. I tired importing some of it to playlists in Sonos and that doesn’

I am trying to search on Bandcamp for music, but nothing returns (ever). This used to work. I have done the following to troubleshoot:Re-authorized my band camp account. I have tried this both from windows app, as well as android app I have made sure my address is correct under my Sonos profile on www.sonos.com.All other services seem to show results for searches but Bandcamp. Spotify, Tidal, Amazon, Sonos, Pandora… all work.

Says I’m not the owner, IVE DONE NEARLY EVERYTHING, reset, app delete,  Sonos has to continue to login at ever step very frustrated this going on 2 hours

My Beam suddenly stopped working after 16 months and now only blinks white. I tried hard resetting and connecting directly to the internet. I called customer support and tried all of the suggested trouble shooting sets they provided. They sent me to Sonos Customer Experience which sent me an email offering to give me 30% off discount for sending back the equipment. Has anybody else had this issue and were you able to either fix the problem or get Sonos to replace the broken unit? I feel like the product should last more than 16 months and also feel like the solution from Sonos should be better than me sending back the unit so that they can refurbish and sell again and only giving a 30% off discount for a defective device.
