Would this setup work as a backdoor way to group Ace headphones with other speakers (or at least play them simultaneously)? If so, how exactly would I set it up?

Here's my thought:

- I already have a TV room with Beam, Sub-mini and two Ones as surrounds. Leave that room as it is.

- Set up a new room with the Beam only, and another room with the two Ones and the Sub-mini only.

- play music and select the two rooms. Then do TV swap, which would silence the Beam and play on Ace instead.

Would the Ones continue to play the music aloud while the Beam music is transmitted to the Ace? If so, this would be great to allow me to leave the room and continue listening to the same music.

If this would work, how do I do it? Can I have two rooms with the same components?

There is no workaround. You cannot transfer a music stream to Ace from your Sonos system.

TV Audio Swap is exactly that, for TV Audio (audio in via HDMI or optical).

Also any grouped room with a soundbar/home theatre setup is Ungrouped on activating TV Audio Swap.

Ahh, OK. I was hoping it could transfer any audio that is playing on the soundbar. Thanks for the response.
