Would be helpful to me to have sound from a Sonos Ace and continue to have sound from a Sonos Beam at the same time. I think it cannot be done, I’m I right? TIA for any replies.

You are correct that it is not possible. The soundbar is muted when a TV Audio Swap session is activated.
