I know I can’t do the stereo with two devices, but hoping I can do two mono outputs from one iphone using bluetooth

To my knowledge (check with Apple), you can only connect one device at a time to an Apple device using Bluetooth.

I was hoping that maybe with the app?  but no then?

It’s an Apple ‘issue’ with Bluetooth. Has nothing whatsoever to do with Sonos. Sonos would be merely a receiver of a signal.

ok thanks!

Group additional Rooms. The Grouped Rooms will use WiFi.

Edit: But this is not an option if you are out in the woods without WiFi.

The ordinal post implies that they are not on Wi-Fi, otherwise they would be able to stereo pair the speakers.

You can’t pair two Sonos Roam 2 speakers via Bluetooth to a single iPhone at the same time. To play together, use Wi-Fi with the Sonos app to group them for stereo or multi-room playback.
