My Sonos system won’t connect to my new home wifi network. The app prompts the update but then it is unable to complete the change.
why are there multiple system capabilities? How do you remove devices off a system
Why are my surround speakers not connected to Bluetooth?
When I adjust the speaker volume up to a reasonable volume the volume ii is automatically turned back down within a few seconds. Everything is new and up to date. Any suggestions?
After a long time with no particular issues, I changed access point (a router in AP mode to which an Era 100 and Pixel phone both connect) to a newer tri-band model. The speaker remained on 5GHz but the phone is WIFI 6E capable which can offer 2x speed - although it isn’t great at detecting the 6GHz network SSID.There are two configs - my usual which is separate SSIDs for each band or a more common router setup of a single SSID for multiple bands.I switched to the 2nd scheme as it’s possible for a device to connect quickly on 5GHz and then switch over to 6GHz. But each time it switched the Sonos mobile app would no longer see the speaker for some reason. These are just WiFi bands - the router and network remain common.Getting back on to 5GHz with single SSID instantly resolved it until the phone switched to 6GHz again, and having separate SSIDs with the Sonos on one and the phone on the other also works fine - so that’s what I’ve gone back to.Possibilities include the router, android /
Hi I have S1 products and since changing my WiFi I have not been able to connect to my S1 Play 5. When I try to use the S1 app to find it I get stuck in the loop where it tells me the app must be updated but then updates to the S2 app which is not compatible with my products.i have tried the solution of deleting and re-downloading the s1 app - this has not solved the problem. what else can I do as I can’t use my main speaker? thanks

Helloreaching out for help with issue with connecting my two ERA300’s to a new 5G router from THREE. I have sent off as a last resort for an adapter to connect my router with and ethernet cable to my speaker one at a time do you think this will resolve the issue ?
Hello. I have a pair of Play1 speakers set up as a stereo pair in our kitchen and the speakers keep on disconnecting. I have to unplug the speakers, wait about 10 seconds, and plug the speakers back in. The NEEDS ATTENTION and NOT CONNECTED disappear after a few moments and the sound returns until the speakers disconnect again. I also have a pair of Era100 speakers and they don’t have this issue. I have tried everything as recommended in the troubleshooting articles but nothing seems to work. We have an ARC SL in the family room which is next to the kitchen.I also have a Netgear extender in our home. The extender is at least 30 feet away from the Play1s. I have read in the articles that an extender could cause the connection issues. Could this be the case?I hope all the foregoing makes sense. Thank you very much for your assistance! I have been a Sonos customer for a long time and I am very satisfied with the products in our home for a long time.
I bit the bullet and did the Sonos update after probably two years. System seems fine . I did notice that one of my subs shows version 17.2.6 and all my other 13 speakers show version 18.6. Normal or does it need to be matched up and if so, how? Thanks
Sonos Play 1 and Soundbar were connected and working. Play 1 stopped working intermittently. Went through reset steps. Sonos wifi connects soundbar but not Play 1s. Devices then seem to connect to home wifi but then drop off and cannot be located on the App. Help please!
When I changed the music on one speaker and change which speakers and different music the first speaker continued to play the station that was previously playing after I had deselected it and set a new group. User error? Perhaps but improved navigation seems a bit cumbersome. I’m turning it off for comparison. Thoughts?
This is so frustrating. Last night, when I said "Alexa, turn off the TV", it failed repeatedly. I checked the app on my iPhone and it showed no products in my system. So I went to re-add my Beam and when I got to the part where I need to input my wifi password, it failed. I rebooted the Beam, I rebooted my Google Wifi router, I reset my Sonos app. Nothing worked. Then I connected an ethernet cable directly to my Beam and that worked. So I went to update my network in the app while connected to ethernet still. Once again when I went to input my password. I got an error saying it couldnt connect. Nothing about my home network has changed, including my password. At this point, I give up. I bought an unmanaged switch to place behind my entertainment center and will just connect the Beam with an ethernet cable. It shouldnt be this hard.
so I am On the journey to have the speakers on new app. My beam currently runs with old speakers on S1 Sonos. i now have Move 2 and a Roamand want to add it to a system cluster on new app. i also want to keep old speakers running on old app as I don’t have budget to change everything. I know I we run two systems? Yes that is happening ok. How Do I move beam To join move 2?
I’m trying to troubleshoot an issue with no high frequencies being produced from my Play5:Gen1.I have the board out, have removed the 2 100uF capacitors which are apparently the root cause (their appearance is fine but they measure shorted). Before I purchase and install new caps, what about the 200uF capacitors residing right next to them? I don’t want to fix something that ain’t broke but while I have this apart I’m wondering if I should be proactive? Thoughts? Your experiences?
I have a system with 2 Sonos Play:3 and 1 Ikea symfonisk and the last one drops the sound to 0 around every 10 minutes. I have tried so restart and reset all the settings but it still keep on doing it. What can I do about it?
tl;dr - Switching from SonosNet to Wi-Fi caused my only speaker on Wi-Fi to keep dropping off the network. Back to SonosNet and everything is rock-solid again.I recently decided to give Wi-Fi another chance for my Sonos system since installing a Boost and moving to SonosNet a few years ago. The Boost originally solved all of my problems with speakers randomly dropping off my network, specifically those that were not wired directly over Ethernet.I went through the wizard to disable SonosNet, no errors reported. For a few hours, there were no problems with my system. However, at some point, my only Wi-Fi speaker (a Sonos One SL) became unavailable. I could see from the diagnostic logs on my Ruckus Unleashed system that that speaker was unable to authenticate with my Wi-Fi network. Weird, since it had been running problem-free for at least several hours until it dropped from my network. I power-cycled the system and it came back, only to drop off again about a day later. At that point, ev
The adjustment shortcut is missing sub. I still need to go to the room settings and jump between EQ and SUB level.
I have a Sonos play:one and a Vodafone ultra 7 hub. It was recently firware upgraded/reset and now none of my Sonos devices are able to connect to it yes I’ve tried with a ethernetyes I’ve tried reading the Sonos documentation on newrouter set up. none of this works. I’m losing my mind and have two very expensive and currently useless Sonos speakers.
We recently moved not a new home and had several Sonos products up and running on our new Wifi network.Today we added an Eero, and all the systems couldn't be found. I was able to add the Arc + sub + surrounds, but not if I try factory reseting any other speaker, it says the speaker wasn't added to the system and recommends unplugging and plugging back in. This does nothing. So we can't add anything currently. Is my best option to create a new system and factory reset everything? Thanks.
I am baffled that Sonos claims they include Bluetooth in the ERA 100, I have yet to get it to work with either a FiiO BAT 30 or a Sennheiser BT100. Sonos tech support on this issue is all over the place with no real answer. Just feel like selling everything and going with Denon or someone else
Not sure if this has been mentioned before...but how about a bedside style clock with internal speaker so can be used as alarm clock with option as a clock with speaker that can be used with sonos or bluetooth from mobile phone or whatever.I’m using a Roberts retro style Revival Rest clock/radio and would love it to be wifi and available to sonos app.Just an idea and with a nice retro style I’d buy one.
Hello there I have Sonos arc, Sonos sub and two picture frame speakers. Due to recent electric outrage all my SONOS products are not working or turning on. Is there a way that it can be repaired ? Will Sonos repair it ? I live in India if anyone any contact can you pls help me
Sometimes my Sonos App loses my Arc Ultra and I have to use the option inside the app to re-find my hardware. There is a button inside my Sonos app which cites the name of my home WiFi network and prompts me to look for Sonos hardware on the aforementioned home WiFi network. The search successfully identifies my Arc Ultra and goes through the reconnection process. OK, fine so far. But the problem which eventuates is that the Sonos App asks me to check to see that the < and > touch buttons on my Arc Ultra are flashing and for me to press them.Unfortunately neither button flashes and it is completely unresponsive to any physical contact. So basically my Sonos is disabled. The only workaround I’ve found is to do a full factory reset and setup the Arc Ultra from scratch. This setup process works because it does not ask me to check the < and > buttons are flashing and touch them: it uses a chime to detect the Arc Ultra and then completes the setup process from there. Can Sonos ple
