I have a Sonos play:one and a Vodafone ultra 7 hub. It was recently firware upgraded/reset and now none of my Sonos devices are able to connect to it

yes I’ve tried with a ethernet

yes I’ve tried reading the Sonos documentation on new

router set up.

none of this works. I’m losing my mind and have two very expensive and currently useless Sonos speakers.

Did you mean Play 1 or One?

First and important, do not factory reset your Sonos as that will likely make things worse.

I don't know that router but maybe something here will help.

If after the update it is using the same SSID and password don't mess with that.

Did you power down ALL Sonos, reboot router and controller, then power the Sonos back up?

Do you know the previous settings on the router, can you verify the update didn't change them?

Obviously you’re in the UK. Whatever was sent to the router  as a firmware upgrade must have been what is known as “volatile” which erases previous settings rather than overwriting them. Therefore you had a reset. However, Volatile upgrades are very rare at the consumer level with today’s technology. My AUSUS router receives auto firmware upgrades but not to the point where I have to unplug my Sonos as if I were factory resetting it.

So my question is was your Sonos working properly with the Vodafone or is it a new install which went through the upgrade process as part of the Vodafone installation?
