When I changed the music on one speaker and change which speakers and different music the first speaker continued to play the station that was previously playing after I had deselected it and set a new group. User error? Perhaps but improved navigation seems a bit cumbersome. I’m turning it off for comparison. Thoughts?

A Room is going to continue playing until you hit Stop in that room. It sounds like you are choosing a new room to play new music in, without stopping the music in the original room. So you can either 1) Choose to play new music in the original room, bring up the Grouping icon in that room and check the new room you wish to play, uncheck the old room that you wish to stop playing in, and click Done

2) Hit Stop in the original room, choose a new room, and select the new music choice in that room.
Remember the app is only a remote control, it can start any, some or all Sonos playing at the same time. They will continue to play until you stop them.
The grouping / ungrouping hasn’t changed with the “Improved Navigation”. You still use the little speaker icon with the number on it, to bring up the grouping screen. Which Sonos now calls the Output Selector and Output Selector screen (Which they are not).
The only difference in the grouping screen with “Improved Navigation” is “View System” isn’t on that screen anymore.

Do you mean “pause”…I don’t see a stop option. I kinda had the same issue as the op.
Sigh... Pause is probably the name of the button. Stop the music playing is what it does.
Actually, it’s a Stop button (solid square), not Pause (two vertical lines).
