When will the horrible app be fixed? Each and every time when i try to either play or stop playing, it's not working. I've gotten message that there's no music in my que while the music is playing loud from all speakers and I can't turn them off. Error message Something went wrong when I try to play. Some of the speakers are not possible to adjust the volume for when they are playing. The list could go on forever. I bought Sonos with the assumption that it's a premium brand, but was I fooled. 

Why is is still so hard to get connected to my speakers through the Sonos app? Doesn't recognise my speaks more often than not. Will they ever fix this problem and get back to the way things used to be! 

First of all: I am not a native speaker, so please excuse any strange or humble expression…. Some days ago an update to the MacOS Sonos controller app appeared. Guess what: Still no fix regarding “My own library” hosted on a local (Mac) server still using iTunes and not Apple music. While → any ← network related app can connect via → any ← network protocol Sonos still refuses to add the music library (error 913, wrong password / user, stopping adding the library and else). Even network rendering from 3D apps and video compression still work flawless, not to mention several “smart home devices” that work like a charm, too. I refuse to use a NAS because of being in need of that MacOS server hosted on an Intel Mac Mini.None of the following (modified for security reasons) connection types works: \\IP1.IP2.IP3.IP4\Media\iTunes\\itunes-server.a.well.known.router.device\Media\iTunes\\itunes-server\Media

As we all know, the current Sonos app on iOS is a big pile of stinking sh*te. I have absolutely no idea how Sonos allowed such an app to be built, let alone released. It does not work. Every time I open it in order to do something, it’s an endless loop of waiting for things to load, having devices not found, devices not responding, laggy controls. Perhaps after a minute of waiting, stabbing randomly at grey boxes, then I can get something to play. Want to change a song? That will then take another minute, if any of the devices respond at all. It really is the pits.So, without throwing my Sonos hardware away, I go to my Mac and use the Mac app to control Sonos, and that works beautifully, as it always had in the past.So my question: how do we get the Sonos S2 app back on our iPhones and iPads? Sonos revolutionised my music listening about 8 years ago. Everything just worked so well. But then the app was updated and it is now almost unusable.  They keep saying they are trying to fix the bugs, but they’ve been saying that for over a year now. Sonos is still s*****.  For something that used to be so seamless, the app now takes forever to connect, so something as simple and pausing the music now takes about a minute.  My question: is there any point sticking with it, or just ditching it entirely and stumping up the cash for something that works? Moderator Note: Modified in accordance with the Community Code of Conduct.

I mostly use the desktop version of S1 Controller, but cannot find “Recently Played.” I also use S1 Controller for iPhone and its there and properly populated, but I much prefer the computer version for its larger screen size and generally fewer click to get to where I want to go.A few Google search results stated that “Recently Played” is limited to S2 systems and controllers. Obviously not true since as stated, it works perfectly well on my S1 Controller for iPhone.What gives?

When using Apple Music, I’d like to find a way to autoplay the port to an existing older system.I have a Sonos Port for my turntable and an older pre-AirPlay 2, playbar/sub/Sonos One surrounds system - all located in the living room. I have autoplay to the family room system setup which works nicely for the line-in turntable.  However my problem is: when using Airplay for Apple Music, I always have to group the Port to the family room system.  Shouldn’t autoplay AUTOMATICALLY send the signal to the full system??

Hello out there in Sonos World, I have a beautiful sounding (and looking!) Sonos system with a play base, two rear speakers and a sub-woofer. The system is about 5 years old. When I recently returned to my Florida home after a lengthy stay in Michigan, my Sonos system would not play any of the songs in my iTunes library. I tried updating my iTunes library on the Sonos system with no luck. In fact, the iTunes library was eliminated from Sonos’s menu of service options. 

Good afternoon! 2.5 years ago my colleague asked me to support his home theatre system (around 20+ Sonos devices). There were some glitches before, but today I faced with sign in loop and constant ownership problems. Each time I want to update system, Sonos App tells me to sign in a an owner. In a couple of steps I was able to sign in as an owner (picture is attached) but according Sonos App I’m still not an owner and can not do anything.  I found similar case in support forum, but it’s closed now. Since the disaster of the new APP I have lost all my playlist which I have put together over a ten year period or more. When I select imported play lists message, the reply is, no selection available, also I can no longer import any new tracks from I tunes it’s a total disaster.                   It’s now 7 months since the broken new app was installed in that time there has been various announcements from Sony that these issues will be rectified -my question is when?. it looks like for the first Christmas in many years there will be no Christmas music  in our house!!I have been reading the community on a regular basis, looking for many solutions, and there must be hundreds if not thousands similar comments “Why can’t SONOS re install the original APP that worked perfect until they sort out the  issues with the new APP?”   CAN SONOS ANSWER THAT? & alsoWHEN WILL THE PL. Napster on my Sonos system will not play radio, or playlists.  If I try, Sonos tells me the connection to Napster is lost.  I have rebooted Sonos, I have uninstalled and reinstalled Napster and nothing helps.  What is the problem?

As stated in the title, I ask to know when spotify support will be added to South Korean users of Sonos products.It is frustrating and borderline discriminatory for us customers here to pay both Sonos and Spotify the same amount of money but not be able to use the services in combination when the rest of the world is probably vibing to their favourite tunes from spotify on their sonos speakers.And, I know there was a same topic from 3 years ago, but all the answer that the other guy received was a cold corporate answer that helped *********.So please, I want to know 1. why we Koreans are deprived of the service 2. what measures are planned or taken to fix this issue.Thanks in advance. Moderator Note: Modified in accordance with the Community Code of Conduct

I just set up a new network with a single Play 1 speaker.  For the life of me, I cannot get Pandora to play on the speaker.  If I try to add a service in the Sonos App all I can find is Pandora Cloud Cover service (to which I am not  a subscriber).  If I go to the Pandora app and attempt to cast, it appropriately shows me the speaker (room) I set up. If I click save, it just goes back to Pandora playing on my phone… i.e. it is not “casting” to the Sonos network/speaker. What am I missing?  I’ve tried the obvious and it’s not working… :(

We have a big system, spread between various combos of Play 1, Play 3, Amp, subs and soundbars.  And S2 is still terrible in our house:  Lag on the iPhone of 30 seconds or more, dropping speakers in stereo pairs, and search doesn’t work at all.  Makes the system almost useless.  It’s a little better on the  iPad, but still have unacceptable lag and search problems.  Any suggestions?  It’s really putting us off.

My wife and I both got a new iPhone 16 Pro Max. Mine connects to our existing system perfectly. Hers can’t find our system. I have reset the app on her phone. Still can’t find system on her phone. 

I have no way to use whole home sonos & help desk not able to solve why most rooms/options have been removed, No solve in site. room deleted and we are not able to add back in. Only arc & beam in bedrooms work. Has anyone heard of a solve to bring “whole home” back on line? A ton of $ spent and the app has no use

I’ve recently upgraded from S1 to S2. If I select a playlist using Spotify, once I leave the house, the music stops playing on Sonos in the home after a track or two. this never happened on S1, but I don’t know how to fix it.

Following factory reset of playbar, Sonos app will not connect to services (such as Spotify). App Says no internet connection after trying to connect (not true). Tried all rookie trouble shooting (on / off boot up for both playbar device / WiFi and phone. Help.

I updated the App on my Android phone to version 80.12.04 last week, but the SONOS App Release Notes page still says the latest version is 80.12.02.??Have I been scammed by the Google PlayStore or have Sonos just not bothered to update their release notes page?I am also having a lot more issues with the 80.12.04 version than i was with 80.12.02, which to be fair was mostly working (say 80-90% of the time). With 80.12.04 I am getting No Products Found, Something Went Wrong, disappearing volume control, slow response to volume change, and Play/Pause interactions etc much more and seems to getting worse each day. I now get the Amazon Music "Something Went Wrong. Try Again" multiple times a day, every day. I do not have Alexa enabled on any of my speakers. My account is valid and in good standing, I reauthorize my account, restart the app, re-boot the speakers, all to no avail. It eventually goes away, but it’s extremely frustrating.

I still can not use my local library! No search feature at all.Was this not supposed to be done somewhere in JuneMy app still does not work for what I need it.
