After the latest update, I lost my access to my music library (I have an older basic Buffalo Linkstation NAS - LS210D). I am pretty certain I was using SMB2 protocol.

Although I don’t recall any issues before, I checked and changed the folder access to read-only and access is restored.

The username and password assigned for access to the shared library folder needs to be a user on the PC that has read-only (ideally) permission on the MUSIC share - check the folder properties on the PC to see which user(s) and what permission they may have to access the share and its sub folders and files.

Hi @denvermtnguy

Thanks for sharing the tip on getting your Buffalo NAS working again with your Sonos system.

I’m not sure why the recent update would have changed access to your music library, there’s nothing in our update notes that mention music library or file share paths, but I’m glad to see this is working again for you. I hope this helps any other users who also run into this issue.
