Controllers and Music services

Hi Sonos Team, I recently purchased a Sonos HD Radio subscription and am impressed with the audio quality and it’s fantastic! However, I’ve noticed that the service announces the station name in between songs. While I understand the intent, this feature can feel a bit disruptive in certain settings, like when hosting guests or a party. Switching to Spotify avoids this, but it does make me question the value of maintaining both subscriptions. Is there a way to disable these announcements for a more seamless listening experience? Thank you for your time and support!

Anyone else noticed how slow and unresponsive the App has become today Dec 23rd 2024?   Much worse than the usual sluggish performance we have become used to.android App Randomly losing connection with the playersMore than 20 seconds to pick up what’s playing  and before anyone jumps in ,  no its not my network , these are ethernet connected devices and I have a strong Internet service 70mb/s with no competing web traffic.   If prior years problems are anything to go by I am not looking forward to entertaining guests on the 25th as new users plug in their sonos gifts for the first time and try to register. Please Sonos ditch this Cloud based App solution and give us back direct control of our own equipment. 

I know this has come up before but having followed all the suggestions and apparent "solutions" I'm still stuck with this issue. And I am going to give a far more detailed breakdown of what I've tried/what I am able to get to until I hit a wall and I definitely haven't seen any of this info elsewhere (I did look all over, both here & with Amazon)I have not been able to properly link my Amazon Music Unlimited subscription - I can't manage the library, I can't search/add to library/like or dislike etc, can't control playlists. It does show me my library and I can keep it playing (because in the backend, somewhere, it must show I have a subscription) but basically it's linking a "Prime Music" free or stripped-down version because it's linking to an American Amazon.com domain, and I DO have an Amazon.com account (I was on there back before they even had a UK domain to speak of) and I am also an Amazon Prime member in the UK. I use Pocket Casts as a mobile app and on Sonos. On the App I get UK relevant Ads, but on SONOS I get US relevant (UK irrelevant) Ads. Is there any way to switch that? Can't really be doing it for the advertisers!

Ever since you enjoyed prematurely releasing your piece of crap app in may. I ve had speakers dropping off, cant separate speakers from tv, connection issues. Speakers disappearing from system cant find system on and on and on. The foreign techs are hard to understand. I get got a major investment in this garbage.16 total speakers. Have made dozens off call to your help line . They know your products suck and they may fix an issue but it always comes vack . Wish i could start over with something else. Too late i m stuck. You shouldn’t have released the app till it was ready. Will never buy another product from sonos

I recently rebooted my system and changed to a different WiFi.  now i can not downloaded the Calm App.  it does not take me to my calm account to authorize. instead it takes my to the calm site and says “sign up successful “without asking for my account or password.  then when i go back to the app it says no content items available.  any suggestions?

My tuner keeps cutting out on my favorite station MSNBC, why? Because it is trash, full of ads and poorly updated.Do you have the same problem(s)?PS I live in Brazil and have excellent internet service.

I recall I used to be able to play my local (NAS server) music files when the internet was down.However, lately, I’ve discovered that I can’t even get the app to load win order to select my local NAS server.  As my internet service has become less reliable, this has become more important.(I did not see this exact issue brought up on this forum… which seems odd)Not sure what I’m doing wrong.  I have no issues playing my NAS files when there is internet connectivity.

I just got my sonos out of storage and went to set them up and the app asked me to update no it doesn't know I have a sound bar sub and speakers ???? Now have nothing working ??

Before the app update, I was able to create playlists using songs or whole albums from Amazon Prime Music. I thought there a fix for that, but I'm still unable to. I'm I missing something? 

Amazon Music not working at all on any devices suddenly. Dosent appear to be an outage on Amazon as can play it on my phone, seems to be a Sonos Issue? 

Amazon stopped working, rebooted etc. does anyone know if there is an issue?thanks

In the last 24 hours, my APP has stopped working on my Pixel 8 Pro and my system is not recognized. It works fine on an iPhone. Any suggestions? And no, I'm not going to go buy an iPhone...lol.

This is an odd one. With the Sonos app on my PC everything works fine, with it on my iPhone or iPad (I have S2 gen) the music library is not found. But if I start playing one of my playlists via my PC the app on my phone recognises the track playing and can pause and restart it, change volume etc, but the app still thinks I have no music library! I have deleted the app, tried to put in the path to the library (not found even though it is a cut and paste and the same as the PC path). This is my first time using Sonus and to say I’m disappointed is an understatement. I can't connect Qobuz, my preferred streaming service, and then I find out that I can't install Spotify either.  Absolute shambles of a product. Disgrace. 

A Sonos alarm that had been deleted still sends an in app notification when the alarm was scheduled to go off. How do I get it to stop?

I can’t deal with this « unable to load content » anymore. From Sunday morning whereas I am just looking for a chill breakfast with family to Friday night when friends are coming over. I am spending more time trying to play music than chatting with friends and family. I don’t like this relationship I am having with you SONOS, we need to go talk! How to fix this?

Christmas party ruined Sonos not responding. On ,Off ,Volume  Deezer, room isolation basically everything. Wish I could find the Sonos uk offices and burn my system In front the press Alan Ferguson 

How do i set up which zone(s) are live when i open app?  Now it always goes to same zone regardless of the previous set up. 

On my iPhone 15 Pro, in My System Settings I have no control of anything in there. It’s telling me to sign out and sign back in to have access to my system settings. It keeps repeating the same messages. Even when I go to Manage it won’t let me sign in. But on my iPad I can sign in and go into my settings. I made sure both my iPhone and S2 app were updated to the latest version. I deleted and reinstalled the Sonos app on the phone. The messages says… “Sonos” Wants to use “Sonos.com” to sign you in. This allows the app and website to share information about you. I hit continue and sign in…. Next message says Sign in as the System Owner, To manage these settings, sign out and sign back in as the owner of this system. It’s on repeat. It won’t let me sign in on my iPhone. Is this part of the update from many months ago. The crazy ass updates that messed everything up? J'ai beau chercher mon sonos ne s'affiche nulle part. J'ai tenté avec Spotify et ça fonctionne (mais je n'ai pas de compte premium!)Merci pour le coup de main. Sonos app keeps not recognizing my wifi network and wants me to update all my products.  There is only one SSIS in my house

Speakers work fine from tv. It’s not showing up in the app. But everything works. 

I decided to dip my toe back into the Sonos ecosystem after using the application and product many years ago. I needed new speakers, so I ordered a pair of E100s from Best Buy. I was shocked to see access required for location, network passwords, etc. just to use the app. Needless to say, I'm returning your s***** product because this is egregious!  You’re overstepping here Sonos.…Moderator Note: Modified in accordance with the Community Code of Conduct.
