Are other able to use their playlist while at my house 

I recently split my sonos system in two, one operating with the S1 controller and the second with the S2 controller. I continue to access my music collection on a NAS (Seagate Central) with the S1 controller, however with the S2 controller I am unable to connect to the NAS. The NAS is DNLA-enabled. I tried to connect using the same path that worked with the S1 controller. I also tried using the NAS drive’s IP address. Nada.I’ve seen some chats mention the ability of S2 to use more advanced SMB version 2, but I cannot see what version SMB the NAS uses, nor can I change it.I’m able to connect the new S2 system to Sonos radio, so it is otherwise working.Any suggestions for solutions or workarounds would be gratefully received!!I didn’t update my system to the new controller when it came out because I didn’t want the hassle that I knew would await me. Every time I try to use this junk app I have to reset my speakers create a new system. Then it never finds them until I do it 5-6 times. Just when I think it’s working it randomly says can’t find system. But every other app I use to stream to them have zero problems finding. I can literally be listening to the speakers via any other app and the Sonos app just says can’t find speakers try again. Whoever is In charge of your app division needs to be fired. Why do I have to have an Internet connection just to use these speakers. These speakers are expensive and it’s not a huge ask to have an app that works. Sonos is quickly becoming a joke of a speaker system and a company as a whole. 

Hello - I am trying to control a group volume from one amp. My setup is below:I have 4x Sonance 8” ceiling speakers wired in to an Amp (Amp A) in a media rack upstairs. I have this Amp, the ceiling speakers and Sonos Sub 4 in a room called “Kitchen”.I have a Sonos Move in a room called “Portable”.I have Pro-Ject Turnrable connected to a second Amp (Amp B) in a room called “Media Wall”.I have these three rooms grouped into a group called “Home”.Everything is working well and volume control as a group works well from the app.I would like to be able to control the volume of the group “Home” with the touch controls on Amp B. Is this possible?  Thanks!

What the hell is going on with the playlist edit???is this feature coming back or what??? Why can’t I still create a playlist or edit the one I’ve been creating for the last 5 years???and what possible explanation is there for getting rid of such an integral feature??? I actually want an answer for this it’s bizarre 

I got a new Sonos Roam 2 and it told me that I need to upgrade to the S2 Controller.  It noted that I had an Amp that was not compatible and guided me to remove it from my system - which I did.  Now when I go to my S2 controller, it says that the System is only Compatible with the S1 Controller, but when I go to the S1 Controller System>System Tools it shows “System Compatibility” greyed out and it just guides me to upgrade to the S2 controller.  I am not fully going in circles. help!  

Why is the app so slow 

Anyone’s Sonos app stop just stop working? Asking to update and finds speaker but wont connect. Why, tell me why Sonos HAS to use WIFI instead of Bluetooth. It creates all sorts of problems. 

I’ve been looking on here for months now, and I still see no sight or sound of a resolution to two essential problem with this new? (7 months old!) app. First, all my compilation albums appear as single tracks; second, I can no longer queue anything as the function has disappeared. Usual comments about significant investment building a system over some years. Are there any answers to these two fundamental problems? I have tried all the suggested solutions using advanced settings and still no joy. Will someone from Sonos reply, or is it left to some other poor user who has had to struggle through the problems caused by this app upgrade?

m having an issue with the Sonos app where I’m not able to control the volume for certain speakers. The volume slide control is just blank for some speakers. 

I’m playing music to my “wired” Play 5, from my local “Music Library” located on a Synology NAS (also wired) and every few songs the music ends abruptly about 5-10 seconds before the song finishes.  It’s really jarring and has only recently started occurring.  My system is up to date and I’m predominantly using the Desktop App.

I have not used the WEB Player very much.  Today I opened it and one Sonos Room was missing.  That Room shows on all other apps including Sonos PC, Phonos Universal, SonoPhone, Phonos Plus & old “Orange” app.the WEB Player is a bit weak anyway: Have to sign in each visit. Can’t clear queue. Maybe more investigation required.Hope this WEB Player does not replace the Sonos PC app.  At least not until the WEB app gets tweaked.

I access the Sonos app on Samsung tablet. I have a friend who sends me playlists, or did so a year ago or more. But now when he does, they show up in Apple Music but not on the Apple Music service I use through Sonos. I am hearing that this is a recent problem and that something in the code of the playlist is creating this problem. I don’t have an error message, the playlist doesn’t appear. 

why when using NAPSTER in SONOS - most of the PINK FLOYD lps are not available in SONOS_- but are available on NAPSTER??

I am adding soundcloud to Sonos. It worked yesterday but today its all gone. I tried activate to sonos several times. But cant find anything from soundcloud. It only says try activate.. going crazy here

Seriously, we were promised that this capability would be restored back in July and here we still are.  Getting ready to dump all my Sonos products and move on since they have degraded the service so much. 

My wife started up the Sonos App, using the old Android app I have rolled back to, as this works reliably, to play our Sonos Xmas playlist we have used faultlessly, throughout the house for that last couple of years and….and nothing… Playlist there, but tracks don’t play.Took a while to explain SMBV1 shares….but in the end….don’t care where are all my Xmas tunes….Copied the Xmas files to family PC, so could at least play, but family kept turning PC off.In the end my son solved it, Android phone connected to SMBv1 music share to his JBL speaker. Job done. Well done Android for legacy support.Sonos you don’t realise the heart ache (and ear ache !!) you have caused by breaking perfectly usable, 100 reliable, working systems…Whilst using SMBv1 file sharing no files were lost, no hackers guessed passwords (its 1234 if you want to know), nobody took over my files, no PC’s were compromised….IT ALL JUST ONCE WORKED…..

Every week or so I have to reauthorize Sonos Radio. Previous to the new app, I did not need to do this.I see that this issue has been raised before 3 or 4 years ago, but I don’t see any references to this issue currently.

I just got my basement setup with Sonos and have Amazon music I want to play but it doesn’t show on the app as a content service.  I am in the US

When I open up the XM app on Sonos. It only loads three stations. Been dealing with multiple levels of support. Trying to see if anyone else is having this issue. Extremely frustrating.

I have a playlist on Apple  Music which I have played through the Sonos app for many years. Now all of a sudden I can’t play it, I can see it but when I click on it I get the message “Something went wrong try again “ I can play everything else in Apple Music 

Why does it seem like every time I open my Sonos app there’s always a new change in a surprise that makes you wonder why. Does anyone have an idea why my list of you music is now missing?

My Sonos iPhone App can no longer find my Sonos system on my home network.I can connect to my Sonos system on my MacBook, my iPad and use the voice control to operate it but the iPhone app just won’t connect.I did try following the in app instructions to update my Sonos system wifi settings to the wifi it is already using but when I try this the set-up fails.My iPhone 16 Pro Max is running iOS 18.1 (22B83)Yes,  have checked I have updated to the latest Sonos app version - V: 80.11.39 that updated 2 days ago. Yes, “Local Network” is enabled and I am using the same internet connection on my phone as my Sonos system. Yes, I turned off and on again all the speakers and my iPhone. Any thoughts as to why the app has stopped working?
