Was forced to reinstall sonos app (android), got my play 1 setup OK - but just can’t find how to add content (e.g. sonos radio).  Anyone got a step by step pls?

Starting lthis week, I have been unable to connect to my local CBC radio channels. Is there a fix? Sometimes the channels show up on the channel list but do not connect. Other times they do not show up at all.

Hello everybody,I do own 3 speakers model play:3 and I would like to make them working with AirPlay.My question is: if I buy a Sonos Beam (gen 2) that works with AirPlay, will all my speakers work together with AirPlay ?if not, do you have any other solution ?Thank you in advance  thomas

Why won’t Sonos allow me to run Sonos 1? I deleted Sonos 2, and reinstalled Sonos 1. I try to open the Sonos 1 app and it is forcing me to download Sonos 2 which doesn’t work well with my Sonos devices.

My neighbours were looking to buy a new speaker system for their home.  They came over the other night and I showed them my Sonos system.  At first the app wouldn’t launch on my mobile.  I deleted it and reinstalled.  It found the system.  We listened to some tracks and they liked the sound, but then it started dropping and we couldn't regain control of the music through the app. They bought a different system.  I’m stuck with this one.  Is it ever going to work properly again?  

Is there a way to deactivate the (terrible) smart shuffle feature via Spotify playlists? Or plans to release this option in a future version update?

I can’t access the app on any device, won’t font any products and it won’t update. tried everything I can think of and it still won’t work. 

The Sonos Aarc Ultra all of a sudden shows up as 3 speakers and 1 works fine but 2 cannot be added. How can I remove the ghost Arc Ultra from the system?  

When I play a YouTube playlist with more than 250 entries, the app adds the playlist’s tracks to the Sonos queue approximately 80 times. Can someone please investigate and fix the bug.

I am trying to re-set up my SiriusXM on Sonos.  It worked fine previously, but I got a new router so I re-initialized Sonos.  Now, SiriusXM doesn’t work.  The Sonos app sends me to the SiriusXM app to reauthorize SiriusXM and it seems happy, but then when returning to the Sonos app, it says I need to reauthorize SiriusXM again.  I successfully do this but then it comes back to the same place and says I need to reauthorize SiriusSM.  I’ve done this a number of times now, but I'm stuck in the Sonos/SiriusXM reauthorize loop.  Has anyone seen this?

Is anyone else experiencing a recent unresponsive app issue. Both myself and a friend have the same problem. Sonos app not responding, finds system but won’t play music, if it does it won’t turn it off or change volume. Both happened towards end of last week.  I’ve tried uninstalling and going again but nothing. nothing in my setup has changed. 

I have created a queue and want to save as a playlist but don’t seem to be able to. Is this right?So if I navigate away from the queue (or to listen to a radio station), how do I get back to the queue if I can’t save it as a playlist?why have you made a really easy system so damn hard to use? Perhaps time to move away from Sonos to a more flexible system (like Sonos pioneered!)

What happened to SonosTube? It no longer works and is no longer in Google Play. Is there another way/app to play YouTube video music (Not YouTube Music) through Sonos?

hello, since your app rleases on 09 and 12 December, there is now a new problem for voice-over users navigating away from the now playing screen. when you use this feature to either find out more info about the track playing, or when watching TV for turning speech enhancement and night sound on and off, it is no longer possible to close this screen via the button at the top left. this fault was present at the launch of the new app, but was resolved in July 2024, but it’s back once again! previously there used to be a close button at the top left of the screen, and also a dialogue to “close pop-up window” but these have both disappeared. At present the only way round this is to use the (very unreliable) two finger scrub jesture in voice-over, or alternatively to close the app completely and then restart the app. Are any other voice-over users experiencing this fault? also can this bug be looked at by your development team and resolved as soon as possible please.

I would have added my comment to an already existing question, but that topic has been closed and the matter has still not been fixed.As a professional video games programmer I will try to be as objective as I can without it sounding as though I’ve just spent £3500 on a complete pile of rubbish. If SONOS spent half as much effort on fixing the numerous bugs in their software as they do on advertising their products their customers would be much happier.Sonos support are aware of these bugs and are nearly as exasperated as the customers.The only solution to this problem is to get a statement from the CEO who should be fully aware of these software bugs (if he/she isn’t the they should be sacked) and what they intend to do about them. Who is on the programming team? Why hasn’t this been addressed? Do they have a producer, and why haven’t they been fired? It seems these forums are littered with SONOS app complaints and issues around similar topics to this. The (older orange) Windows app worked fine setting up and detecting my Music Library at  //mybooklive/public/shared music. I could also work in fine using the Web app.The (newer black) iOS app however has been an absolute headache. First, when I tried //mybooklive/public/shared music, it just wouldn’t recognise the pathway… so I replaced the space with an underscore _ and now it is recognising it. However, it comes and goes regularly. This morning, it’s still there, but despite this I cannot find and use the Music Library. The app is recognising the pathway, but not displaying any music from it on my iPad or iPhone. The windows app and the web app still both work fine.What gives? What happened to SONOS? A basic requirement so fundamentally broken 😠 

I was signed in as the system owner, why do I have to sign out and then in again as the system owner only to get a message of something went wrong try later. It has been months with this issue and there is no fix. Ready to throw the whole system out the window. 

Updated app yesterday and now nothing works - 2 hrs waiting and then dealing with helpdesk - router rebooted 4 times all 20 devices rebooted, controllers reloaded several times, moved to Sonos channel 1 and still not working. Approximately 5 hrs of wasted time, pls help. Helpdesk claim it is a known problem which isn’t particularly helpful - a known solution would be better and a timeframe for when it will get fixed - another massive Sonos own goal.

I can't even play songs or control volume with it as well as any integration with Alexa or Google Assistant. The developers and especially the managers/c-suite execs should all be ashamed of themselves for rolling out this crap.

I have a simple Sonos system with 2 Play 1’s and a Boost. I recently had to set up the system again as my PC went away to be fixed. I was using the S1 app but have now been moved to the S2 app. Now I cannot set up the music library. I have tried to connect to the Sonos on my desktop computer and my laptop. Every time I get a message: “Reason: Unable to add the shared folder //Laptop … to your Music Library(1002)”I thought it might be a network issue, so tried to make a small library using a USB memory stick in the desktop or the laptop with a few music files on it. Still no joy, and the same message.Could it be a firewall issue (although as far as I can tell the firewall was configured correctly during the setup procedure)? I am using a mesh system and again all looks OK with all the nodes connected.I am running out of ideas - does anybody have any idea what the issue might be?

The Sonos Windows is taking 30 seconds to startup everytime I launch it. It goes through a few screens such as System not available and then finally completes successfully. Any sugestions for what is causing the issue? Sonos App 16.5, Windows 11 Pro 22H2

With Amazon Music, it seems I can’t search. Is that normal? That service is NOT helpful. I had YouTube Music--it was okay. I need something great--and, obviously, searchable. Whatcha all got?

My music library is stored on a NAS. The  Windows 10 version of  the app runs correctly and picks up the the Music Library successfully. However, I would like to be able to do the same with the SONOS app  running on Android but I am unable to achieve this outcome.I have tried several paths to no avail. Is it a question of waiting until another update is delivered.

hi everyone! no idea what happend!! this is super frustrating!  suddenly all the devices disppeared from my apple tv airplay list. i tried to follow instructions to unplug the devices and reset. then set up on the app again (also deleted the app and resinstalled). after it connects to the network it wont show up in the system still. it did say to unplug then plug the device again. did that. ive followed these steps several times. any idea what is going on? this is so frustrating!! their app is SO FAULTY
