With Amazon Music, it seems I can’t search. Is that normal? That service is NOT helpful. I had YouTube Music--it was okay. I need something great--and, obviously, searchable. Whatcha all got?

Don’t understand why you can’t search Amazon Music. I can easily search there as the screenshot shows.
Your profile shows no system info. Do you have Sonos devices capable of playing Dolby Atmos music in surround? If so your only choices are Apple Music or Amazon Music Unlimited. If you’re into Classical music go with Amazon Music Unlimited because Apple Music screwed up the sorting of classical music playlists with the IOS 18.1.1 update. Playlists management in Amazon Music is much better.
if you don’t care about any of the above stuff then go with Spotify, Tidal or Qobuz. Qobuz does have some “gapless”play issues if that’s a concern.
I can search on Amazon, Web and Android, sections not finding matches aren’t shown.
Are you on the basic Amazon Music?
I’m on Music Ultimate - Ad free so that might be why.
