hello, since your app rleases on 09 and 12 December, there is now a new problem for voice-over users navigating away from the now playing screen. when you use this feature to either find out more info about the track playing, or when watching TV for turning speech enhancement and night sound on and off, it is no longer possible to close this screen via the button at the top left. this fault was present at the launch of the new app, but was resolved in July 2024, but it’s back once again! previously there used to be a close button at the top left of the screen, and also a dialogue to “close pop-up window” but these have both disappeared. 

At present the only way round this is to use the (very unreliable) two finger scrub jesture in voice-over, or alternatively to close the app completely and then restart the app. 

Are any other voice-over users experiencing this fault? 

also can this bug be looked at by your development team and resolved as soon as possible please. 

it’s really disappointing that a fault introduced in May 2024 and which was fixed in July 2024 is now back with us once again.

Sorry to hear of this issue you are having with Voice-Over on the Sonos app.

We are aware of this issue and are investigating - I don’t have an estimate for when a fix might be put in place, but I will update this thread when I hear of it happening.
