When I play a YouTube playlist with more than 250 entries, the app adds the playlist’s tracks to the Sonos queue approximately 80 times. Can someone please investigate and fix the bug.

Hi @Frequent listener

Welcome to the Sonos Community!

Thanks for your post, and I’m sorry to hear of this issue you are having with adding a playlist from YouTube Music to your queue.

A colleague tested this recently and was able to reproduce the issue - we have reported it as a result and it will be investigated.

Thanks again - I will update this thread when I hear more.

Hi @Frequent listener

I can confirm that we have identified an issue with multiple duplicates showing when adding larger playlists to the queue and are investigating. I have no estimate for when a fix might be put in place, but I will update this thread when I hear of one.

I hope this helps.

In the meantime use SonoPhone to load the queue.  Your playlist will NOT be duplicated.  Then when you look at the queue in the new app it will have the correct track count.

This may work with Soro, Phonos Universal or Sonos PC app as well.  Have not tested yet, but high confidence.

I hope you can get this fixed sooner than later.

After a few experiments I find that your Sonos app cannot handle a YouTube playlist of more than 99 tracks.

Thanks for the suggestion but it shouldn't be necessary to purchase a 3rd party app to handle such basic functionality.

The suggestion to use a 3rd party app came from a user like yourself and was just trying to help.  The Sonos rep is marked as such and would never suggest anything 3rd party.

Thanks for pointing that out jgatie.

Sincere apologies to Mopac.

No need.  Maybe try the PC Sonos app to load the queue.  I’m gonna’ try that right now.

Works properly with PC Sonos app.  Sonos is now aware of this problem so I’m sure a fix is upcoming.

Thanks! - I'll use the Pc Sonos app for >99 tracks until the iOS fix arrives.
