hi everyone! no idea what happend!! this is super frustrating! 

 

suddenly all the devices disppeared from my apple tv airplay list. i tried to follow instructions to unplug the devices and reset. then set up on the app again (also deleted the app and resinstalled). after it connects to the network it wont show up in the system still. it did say to unplug then plug the device again. did that. ive followed these steps several times. any idea what is going on? this is so frustrating!! their app is SO FAULTY

I’m sorry to hear you’re having issues Airplay-ing to your Sonos speakers. When using Airplay, the Sonos app isn’t in use (think of the Sonos app as a remote control), so you shouldn’t need to adjust or reset the app if your speakers aren’t showing on your Apple TV. Do you have a different iOS device you can use to check if the speakers show in Airplay, such as an iPhone or iPad?

You haven’t mentioned, so I’d suggest a full system reboot by powering off your Router → Sonos Speakers → and Apple TV for around one to two minutes, then powering them back on. Once everything has booted back up, try checking if your speakers are showing in the Airplay menu of the Apple TV? 

If this doesn’t resolve the issue, then I’d recommend reaching out to our support team for further troubleshooting assistance, as they have the necessary tools available to help you troubleshoot.
