A few weeks ago I’m alone at home minding my own business. Suddenly my Sonos system starts playing a song (“Faith” by Stevie Wonder) without my intervention. It plays for a few seconds and then the volume goes up to max. Panic!We live in a flat and have Sonos in several rooms. Poor neighbors…After a few seconds i got myself together and I managed to open the Sonos app and press “pause”. Directly, the music “unpauses”, I “pause”, it “unpauses” and then I turn down the volume to a minimum and then nothing.At first, I suspected that some intruder had gained access to our WIFI and started going over the security logs of our Unifi (Ubiquiti) system. Hi,Suddenly Sonos can’t add albums or songs to the queue.See the inserted image.I use Tidal as music service. I have rebooted my router and my Sonos devices.My Sonos devices are connected to the router with an ethernet cable.The Sonos app is updated.I don’t what else to do. Any suggestions?Is the problem to be found with Sonos, Tidal or my network?Thank you in advance.   

Why can I no longer use browse on Apple Music? I use to be able to see Top Playlists, Top Albums and etc. I do not want to have to go search each time.

Successfully removed my bridge Successfully set up the Sonos system on my TP link mesh  everything was working well on S1 (thanks Airgetlam) Checked compatibility of my Sonos units with S2. All fine. downloaded and installed S2 on my phone followed the instructions including switching off and on each unit and my router App confirmed all good Everything showing as incompatible in S2 - rooms, all of the Sonos units  So nothing works on S2. This is a car crash. What have I done wrong? Does anyone have any thoughts?

I have Amazon Prime Music on my Sonos App and yesterday when going to play some albums (including those I have purchased) the app no longer displays the tracks on the album. Previously they all listed. If I click the album it will play the album and you can skip to next song etc but you cannot select to play from a list as you could before.I use the SONOS S1 app due to older equipment (Sonos 5’s and amp) and cannot afford to upgrade everything.Anyone else have this issue?

I have used spotify with sonos for a long time now, but for some reason spotify cant play on all my speakers specifically my two Play 1. When i start a playlist it keeps skipping songs and says “unable to play song, connection lost”. Usually after 3-5 skipped songs it will start playing. Both speakers are wired, and have been working for a long time. I have rebooted the speakers. Re connected spotify to sonos app. Router reboot.Everything else seems to work just fine, all other speakers (Arc, Sub, Play5 and one/sl) are working perfectly.

I can play pandora, Spotify, Tunein, but cannot play SiriusXM.At one time it worked sporadically but now not at all.”UNABLE TO BROWS MUSIC.” 

The Sonos app is constantly turning on by itself and running in the background. I can choose the option to stop the app once I see the notification that it's running, but it starts again after a brief period of time. Galaxy S22 & 14.18 is the app version.

Diagnostics: 1020127941Hello!So my problem is the following:I have an IKEA symfonisk lamp/speaker. I recently needed to change internet providers so I have a new router. Today I wanted to connect for the first time since that change to my device when I was unable to find it in the system without an Ethernet cable. To be able to connect again through Wi-fi I had to: Reboot my speaker to factory settings Change my SONOS account to a different email.After that and at least 2 hours of troubleshooting I managed to reconnect my speaker to my phone. However, as it is a new account I need to add Spotify. I have tried to connect to it many times but once I finish setting it up on Spotify’s end, I come back to the app at it gives me this “Connection Error” to Spotify and I am unable to add my account. My speaker is currently connected through Wi-fi and is able to play music through the Spotify App but not through Sonos due to this

So here is my setup: Living Room - Arc (hardwired), Symfonisk frames, and sub Master Bedroom - Beam, Symfonisk frames Dining Room - Beam About two weeks ago I was having this weird issue where I couldn't play any music to just Master Bedroom, it kept giving me some weird error (I cannot remember now what it was). Hi.I have just downloaded the S2 App on to my Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 to control my Sonos Roam but when I try to launch it the screen just flashes with the yellow start screen.My tab 6 is running Android 12 and is fully up to date.Does anyone have any idea what I need to do to get it to work?For info it all works fine on my S21 Ultra phone.Many thanks in advance for your help.

Have 100’s of iTunes albums that appear in feint writing,but none of them play (error 802)???

HiI recently started to see a bug in some (not all) of my Apple Music playlists. Some songs in some playlists will not play on Sonos. It’s not an Apple Music issue as I can play them fine in Apple Music but for some reason when playing the playlist from the Sonos app some songs will not play. They even show as unavailable in the playlist. Wondering if anyone could help me. 

Hello Everyone,Since the version 14.18.1, I have a problem with my local library on My Cloud EX2 Ultra.All my speakers and my Nas have a IP static addresses.The library works fine during 3 days / 5 hours / 1 day and the library disappears from the Sonos app> I must update manually. Sometimes my library disappears from the Sonos app.The Nas My Cloud works with the protocol SMB3, I have checked with the other protocols SMB1 and 2 and the problem appears also. I have also checked with an other Nas My Cloud but the problem persists. My network is always the same, no modifications, no new material.Yesterday, I have phone with the support, solution given : uninstall and reinstall the library. That was fine during the day, the evening and today, library not present in the Sonos app.Honestly, I am a little lost about this issue.Thank you for your help or your ideas.Kind regards.

Hi all – I’ve searched Google and Sonos for a while now and can’t find an answer to my issue.I can play from streaming services to my Sonos One, but I can’t play any music from iTunes – either via the Sonos app, or via Airplay – my speaker doesn’t show up when I click the Airplay icon in iTunes.Many thanks!

I’ve read several similar issues but there doesn’t seem to be a resolution so thought I’d ask. Sonos reads the music library from my Western Digital MYCloudEX2Ultra NAS, all the files are there from a sync between my Mac iTunes library and my NAS. Been using this method for several years without issue. Recently, probably the past couple of weeks, when I open the iPhone app or the Mac app, the library has disappeared and a music index update is needed to get the files back. As I said, never had this issue before, and have been linking to the same NAS for several years. I’ve checked and there is only one path in the library setup and the NAS is on 24/7. Anyone know why this has started happening?ThanksMartin

I can see this has been asked a number of times in the past but recently a large number of tracks in my Apple Music Playlists appear to be greyed out on the Sonos App and will not play.  They work fine on Apple Music on the phone and my Mac. I have tried removing and adding the account again, I have also reauthorised but neither of these worked, I really want to avoid recreating all of the playlists. I have tried using the online chat but that has been nothing but trouble, the final straw was when I finally got through to an agent they said they would review the case and get back and then after a couple of minutes they had not got back to me and the conversation was automatically ended as it had been idle too long

I don’t have an Amazon Unlimited subscription, but I do have Prime. I also have quite a lot of purchased music, mostly gained automatically through buying the CDs but also a few I have purchased digitally through Amazon music.Now, when attempting to play these purchased albums through Sonos (S1), clicking on them does not display the tracks. Attempting to play them does not add them to the queue (it shows as “Not In Use”) and the tracks are played in a random shuffled order.

Anyone can or cannot play music on Play 1 through PC library? with firmware 14.18?

Hello Everyone,I need your help, since the 14.18.1 update, the localization function in the Sonos app on iOS is missing.Since this last update, I have a lot of problem with my local library on my WD My Cloud EX2 Ultra.Sometimes this library disappears and I must to update manually the library in the Sonos app. I have no modified the initial configuration but the problems are there.Thank you forward for your time and kind regards.

Has anyone noticed that the playlists on LivePhish not appearing on Sonos?

When I try to browse Music folder via Plex i cant see the folder in Sonos app.Under Music library in Sonos setting/Music library you can add folders, but the Qnap Nas only has IP adress and not \\computer\sharename.Any suggestions?

When I am playing Amazon music through my Sonos system it works fine for a while, but within about 30-1 hour my control on my amazon App completely goes away and Sonos takes control. So if I want to skip a song, change my artist, look up and play other songs on the Amazon App I cannot . The Sonos App usurps control. I have to shut both apps down and sometime even reboot my Android phone to have it work and gain for a little while… then it plays Amazon music for a while and Sonos takes over again. It’s incredibly frustrating!   Has anyone else had this happen? 

I had asked this issue two years ago. But this issue has been not resolved yet. Spotify had launched in Korea a few years ago. Why still Sonos not support to connect with Spotify in Sonos one yet? This is an unfair situation for KR users and Sonos would not handle it, I think. If anyone who is responsible for this issue in Sonos can check, Let me know the exact reason soon. Thanks.
