Hi,I'm using a Samsung TV TU7000 and have connected the Sonos Beam (Gen2) through to the TV's HDMI (e-ARC) port with the Sonos HDMI cable.I have a Tidal HiFi Plus subscription and am running this on the native TV Tidal app. However, Tidal's Dolby Atmos content plays as "Dolby Multichannel PCM 2.0".I've been trying for the past week (power cycling had changed the format to "Dolby Digital 2.0" which is also not correct. The format for that same track has now since switched back to "PCM 2.0" I'm not even sure how/why). I would like to point out that Netflix content automatically plays as "Dolby Atmos" so I doubt it is a problem with my set-up.How do I get Tidal Dolby Atmos music to play as such on the Sonos Beam?If it helps my Tidal TV app is from Samsung's native app store: Build 2020.12.16 Thanks in advance for assisting me in troubleshooting!

Hello,Due to an issue with PowerPoint, the electrical supply to the house was shut off. The power appears to have been restored to all three rooms as soon as the power is restored. Until I play something, nothing will play. It does not have any radio programs on Tune In. I listened to music using my Tidal streaming account. It's the same old story. I need your help! 

Questions:- Why selection of local radio stations is made that NON user friendly? Europe->Country…- Why I can't see all local radio stations through Sonos?- Whe  playing music through Spotify I can forward output to Sonos. Why I can't do same for all media sources? 

 For some reason still unknown, the day after I disabled SMB1 on my Sonos (S2) library, I was unable to access it from any device. The typical suggestion is to just delete the library, then add it again, so I tried to do that.FYI, my library is on a Windows Server 2019 machine - this is not a NAS or USB connected to a router.I have a large library - around 100GB, and Sonos was unable to index it, telling me that the server share was “no longer available”. If I instead populate my library with a TINY number of artist folders, it will index with no problems. Sometimes after croaking on too large an update, it works the second or third try. I’ve seen this problem in the forum before.What is the bug with Sonos indexing large libraries/folders?!??   

Ijust added a NAS to my network and connected my Sonos system to that NAS and have scheduled index updates each evening at 2am.  I rip CDs to the NAS and every so many days I update the meta data/tags to clean up the initial data that was used.  The biggest issue I’m having is when tag data changes and creates a new album in the library but the previous versions of that album also remain.  Here is an example.I have a single album that is a 2 CD set When I rip the CDs - it creates two albums in my library named ‘Album Name - disc 1’ and ‘Album Name - disc 2’ When my Sonos library is indexed, it creates the 2 separate albums I go into my library software and update the meta data where both cds have the same album name and I indicate disc 1 and disc 2  The next time Sonos library is indexed - it creates the new album with the corrected album name and all tracks in the correct order grouped by cd1 and cd2 as expected However, the original 2 albums that it initially created also remain in m

I used to listen to Radio 2 on Sinos via Tunein and that service was removed.I now listen via Radio Net.According to ads this service will also be withdrawn early 2023.Any other alternatives? Thanks Richard 

Hey there,As a result of a PowerPoint issue, the electrical supply to the house was shut off. As soon as the power is restored, all three rooms appear to be working. It won't play anything until I play something. Tune In does not have any radio programs. My Tidal streaming account was used to listen to music. Once again, nothing. I need your help! 

I have had Sonos since 2008 but recently the reliability has gone through the floor!! Products missing, playlists missing and if I see “cannot connect to Sonos” again on my iPhone I will not be responsible for my actions….. What has gone so badly wrong… The whole experience has become a nightmare!!!

HiI have had a lot of trouble with my S1 system dropping speakers. I checked through my network and made some changes. It seems a bit better. All the devices have come back. However, it now sees no services. Spotify for example. sonos.com sees all my devices and says No Subscriptions. Spotify still shows sonos as connected to it. The sonos system seems to become much more fragile….I can play nothing.ThanksTerry 

Sonos are playing my playlist in wrong order. Sometimes it begins from top of the lists over and over again.I have no randomizer and I dont want it to be played randomly. I have checked as much as i can but no success.What to do??

Can you use a 2112 mac as a music server with S1

I currently store my music on a Buffalos LinkStation 210 2TB NAS drive. For over one year, this has worked great with no issues. However, recently (and I think immediately after I ran the last Sonos update), my Sonos system can no longer locate the directory. It tells me that the NAS (a) might be disconnected or (b) that the login credentials are possibly not up to date. I know both of those suggestions are incorrect because: (a) I can access it via my computer without any issues whatsoever; and (b) the username/password have never changed.All the same, I have tried removing the directory and putting the path back into Sonos. I have reset the username and password and put those into Sonos. Nothing I do though works. I have tried variations on the path, to no avail. Original topic has been closed ^So this is what I’ve found...After a few months the issue is still happening. Not as often, but still once in a while.Re. the VPN. Weirdly, although Sonos is already bypassed, the issue actually seems worse when it’s completely disabled  (‘VPN’ is Blokada by the way - I only just use it for a bit of light ad-blocking).So I don't think that's the problem.One thing I have noticed is that sometimes when I open the app and go to favourites, the "All your favourites in one place" screen will show up for a split second, and then the favourites will be displayed as normal.This may be because favourites are system-wide and not device specific. So it is as if Sonos hasn't had chance to load them in yet from wherever they are stored. And every now and again it takes a few minutes for the system to get it’s act together. Yesterday I added two Play 1 speakers to my home (First time setup). In the sonos app where you add music services, spotify don’t show up. Not on the phone and and not on the desktopp add. A whole lot of other music services shows up. From my spotify app i can detect the sonos speakers but when i try to connect to them it just tries to connect endlessly. And nothing happens. I can connect to my google home speaker just fine from the app.From the sonos app i can play music through the sonos speakers with the other music services, so the speakers are connected and works, it is that I can’t add the spotify app to sonos, and if i use the spotify app it wont connect to the speakers. I have previously connected to sonos speakers in my dads home from the spotify app with no issues.What I’ve tried so far: Reinstalled both the spotify and sonos app.Rebooted the network, rebooted the sonos speakers.   

Frequently when I select a song from my music library, even from the app on my computer where my music library is hosted, I get the “unable to play xxxxxx, the server cannot be found” error.If I clear the error message and tap play several times though, without changing, resetting, or touching any part if the system in any way, the song will start playing. So in some sense it’s a false error message, as all the devices  are on and connected and ready, and the system can do it, just not right away. It happens more often than not when I select a song these days, and it’s annoying. Anyone know what might be behind that or how to make it better?

I have a Sonos IKEA frame and have recently reconfigured my wireless network. As a results, I fail to connect the Sonos speaker. I have tried all the suggestions to reset, restart etc. I have even checked that my speaker connects to a network in a different building. My hunch is that there is some incompatibility between the speaker and my network settings, but I cannot figure out what to do.Any suggestions?

Hi there,From a couple od weeks I’m experciencing problems with browsing Deezer on Sonos S2 app (PC and smartfone). The issue is: when I enter the Deezer tab in Sonos app, there is a loadsing sign for a brief moment and then the text “unable to browse music” aprears. I’ve already tried turning off and on the whole system, updating the Sonos app and Deezer app, but there is no effect. The strange thing is, that sometimes it works, so I’m little bit confused and guess this sugests that the issue is with Deezer, but maybe Sonos have some solution for this?Last time (2-3 days ago) it worked just fine, and then, when I’ve reconfigured speakers (Beam and 2x Play:1) and reactivated Deezer account the problem came back… Any ideas how to solve this, the issue is iritating?PS - voice control works fine with Deezer. 

Hi,I can’t login to the app with my android phone and with Ipad and all I get is ‘Let’s try that again’ X2 and than ‘Try again later’. I can log in in the web on a computer to my account. That internet Wifi works just fine. What is the problem?

How do you use Sonos on multiple networks?  Do you need a separate account for each network?

My previous setup was an old Orbi mesh router hardwired to my ARC and then my entire system (9 speakers) were on the Sonosnet system. It worked really well. I recently purchased the TP Link Deco XE75 6e Mesh router. I hooked up the ARC to the main router and the arc says WM:0. However, the rest of the speakers are on wifi WM:1. When I try to disable my wifi on the other speakers it comes up with an error. Also my other speakers are not staying connected via wifi. Sometimes I have to force close my app to get the speakers to show that they are connected. I’d really like to use the Sonosnet system and get all the speakers off my wifi. Anyone have success with this TP Link Mesh system? If not, I’m thinking about returning the TP-Link. Does anyone have any recommendations for a wifi 6e mesh system? 

My house is full of Sonos..in ever room. Never had issues in 3 years. WiFi is fine. 14 total Sonos devices including Boost. Since the LAST SONOS PHONE APP UPDATE, I get this occasionally. I see several others mention the same in different groups. All my speakers are working. If you click on the “fix it “issue < it comes back and says no Sonos products found on my WiFi…really? All are playing. Close the app out..guess what??!! Shows no issues. And at times ..app still crashes…  

Hi! What happened to the Sonos Radio collections? Just a week or two ago they were still found there. Now I can only find and listen to the Sonos stations saved in my own Sonos. You can still find those collections and listen to the Sonos stations on the Sonos website: https://radio.sonos.com/collections but I do not know how to find them again from iPhone app. Please help!  

I have radio stations on Amazon Music saved as SONOS Favorites and when I play some that have not been played for a while, I get the error “Requested operation failed. Please try again.”.  Is this a SONOS issue, or is it related to my Amazon Service.  Does SONOS limit the number of recently played stations for Amazon Services or is this a credential issue with Amazon?On the SONOS Favorite that is failing, I can do a search for the radiostation in Amazon and then it will play.  However, if I try to start it from the favorite link, I get the error message.
