I added a local station off Tunein (107.9, K-wave) to My Sonos. If i say HS play 107.9 or play K-wave it always defaults to playing some other station from Tunein with 107.9 or K-wave. Want to set this up for the wife so she has the ability to call this up.Also, I added a complication album from my Plex library to My Sonos and when I call it up the response ends up playing either Pandora or Apple Music.Please help.

WD’s My Cloud Home has just announced it will no longer support Sonos S1.I’m furious as mine was suggested by a telephone sales person.  It’s over two years old, so presumably out of warranty.I want to keep using my old Play 5’s. I just use the nas to play mucic from my library of 250 K songs It’d be much cheaper to buy say the Seagate 4TB Nas at £84 than pay £700 plus to upgrade my two Play 5’s.  But is it reliable? And are Seagate also likely to dump support for S1?Or are all companies that make nas likely to go that WD route?  And should I just acceot by Play 5’s are obselete?Many thanksPeter PS Other Nas often used by Sonos users are Buffalo Link Station, Fritz! Qnap and Synology.  Any thoughts on those?PPS I do use S2 for my two Roam speaker. But they of course dont link to S1.And do I understand that gen 1 SL’s wont connect to S2?    

Spotify keeps jumping tracks  - reset network and reinstalled the app ?

Had 2 Sonos speakers for a few years now. Today some songs skip due to “not encoded correctly” error (appears on desktop and app controllers). These songs have always played without. problem previously and they are in a playlist created 10 years ago on iTunes (Where they still work without error). One particular playlist skips the first 3 tracks entirely. I have read some explanations which. claim. it could be wifi interference, but this issue is only on specific songs not constantly.

I noticed this morning that I can no longer tap the volume bar for a room/group to increase/decrease it by one notch at a time. Is this a bug or a new change?I have asked others and it's not an issue for them.Android, Pixel 6a, Sonos app 15.2.I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but it's still an issue.Edit: fixed! But there's still an issue that needs fixing in the Sonos app.. I have a disability, and one of the issues I have is speaking - I recently enabled text-to-speech accessibility setting in Android (basically, a toggle floating on the screen > tap it > tap an area on the screen, then it reads out the text - could be useful). Turned out it stopped that particular volume control feature on the Sonos app - l I had to turn off the accessibility setting then restart my device for Sonos volume to work properly again.I have no idea if Sonos can work around this (it only affected a specific feature of the volume control), but I'

Hello Community,I have acquired Sonos One (Gen 2). When I click on “Browse” the menu does not show “ On this Mobile Device”. is there any configuration to do prior to have it showing in the Browse menu? Thank you for your guidance.Sam

Is there anyway to stop this? If you switch off automatic updates sonos starts slowly removing app functionality. First I noticed they stop you re-tuning true-play unless you update, now ive noticed they prevent me re-indexing my locally stored library. What is the point in having a pretend automatic updates option that cripples the apps functionality thereby forcing you to update regardless? 

Hello. I have inquired before, but there is an issue where songs keep skipping when I play Spotify playlists on the Sonos application. I have tried changing all routers and even directly connecting, but the issue still persists. I have searched the Sonos community, and it seems like this issue has been repeating for several years. You can see that there are many inquiries about it. It wasn't this severe before the last update, but after this update, all songs are skipping. I want to emphasize again that this is not an internet issue. I have tried changing routers, pulling out all the codes, and even resetting the device. This issue only occurs with Spotify and not with other music platforms. Please forward this matter to your technical support team and resolve the problem as soon as possible. 

I recently changed the name of my Windows PC. Despite deleting and reinstalling the PC Sonos 1 software, the Sonos 1 PC controller no longer finds my Sonos system. The Sonos portable controller finds the system but cannot find the music stored on my renamed PC (even though the PC name and folder for the music source seems to be correct. Any ideas??ThanksRichard

Just factory reset my playbar, surrounds (sonos one’s) & sub and updated the app.Everything is working however now there is no way to adjust surrounds or sub. Used to be settings for all this. There were some distance settings for surrounds & you could adjust sub.All now is the volume, night sound, & enhancement.Touched every part of every screen I see nothing but it’s supposed to be there.Have it on android phone & ipad. Both are the same.Not there.

All my 10+ wake up and go to sleep alarms with selected play lists disappeared overnight. I have had them for years! What have you done? What kind of system update would screw this up?I did not touch the system or use the apo during this last 24 hours.

Hi, I have recently moved house and had to reconfigure my system. For some reason, Sonos has duplicated my 'Dining Room' so now I have three 'Dining Rooms', each with a separate component (see image). Is there a simple way to remove the duplicates and just have one Dining room with all the components in? Thanks  

Apple acquired Primephonic in 2021 with the intention of using that service as the basic of creating their own music solution aimed specifically at the Classical music genre.I did not pay much attention at the time but I thought this was more for dealing with the enhanced meta data/tag information needed for the Classical music genre. For example the same music title composed by the same original composer may have multiple recordings from many different orchestras over time and with sometimes different conductors, soloists or singers any of which might be specifically looked for by classical music enthusiasts.Well Apple are this month finally launching their new Apple Music Classical app which is the dedicated app for classical music and will be backed up by the current Apple Music streaming service. Hi guys, The offer for 3 months apple music came up on my app but I didn't yet have an apple Id. I managed to finally get one but now the offer doesn't appear anymore! I tried looking on the website but there's no option to redeem it. Anyone else know a way?

Please click here to see a list of more topics around the same subject. I added several speakers to Apple Homekit.  They show up in Homekit, but when I click on them, they show up with a greyed-out box and everything else grayed-out and a message saying “Not Playing.” This is the same on the iphone and two ipads. However, all Sonos speakers are playing music while the Apple devices give me the grayed- out box and “Not Playing” message.  I reset the router, wifi and powered down the Sonos system several times, with no effect.  I am not using a hub of any kind.  I am connecting locally via wifi.  Is there something I am missing here?

Hi,I'm using Amazon Unlimited. I want to browse for a song on the Amazon Music App, then start playing it on Sonos, without having to search for it again in S2. Is there a quick way to do this (eg menu items or share URL link)?I don't want to use Cast/ Connect because then the music won't play in Hi Res if it is an Ultra HD track.I don't want to browse on the Sonos app, because, amongst other reasons, I can't see if the track is Hi Res.The closest solution I've found is to cast the track, then press three dots and choose 'Search [The Artist]'. But I then have to stop the cast, search for the album, find the track and play it.Am I missing a trick, or is that just the way it is?Thanks v much

Hey guys, As you are probably aware, Sonos has recently introduced the spatial audio feature. However, I have noticed that this works when playing music from Apple Music through the Sonos app because when I try to listen to music directly from Apple Music, I just lose this option.I am curious to know if this is a technical error that needs to be fixed or if this is how the feature is intended to work.Thanks!

Does the Sonos MacOS app (currently in 15.2) support atmos?(Using a macbook Air M1) 

All of a sudden The Highway on SiriusXM will not play on my Sonos. I received the note unable to play the selected item. I am able to play other stations now. There for a couple of days I couldn’t even play anything on SiriusXM. I have the older version of Sonos. I did delete the app on my phone and on my iPad to see if this would fix the problem. Still can’t play the highway, but I am able to play some other channels that I like to listen to. What can I do to fix this. The Highway is my favorite channel!

I set alarm to play sirius xm channel. It has worked for a while, no problem. Then in last 3 days it has stopped working and all I get is the Sonos chime. What is up ?I tried unplugging and plugging sonos back in. It didn’t work

app not showing dolby atmos

Hi community, just wondering why I am having to create a new password to do an online update for my Sonos system when I already have a logon and password for it -- which it is not asking for -- this is a new separate prompt forcing a new password creation.  Finding this nonsensical.  If I select more info it prompts me to create a new Sonos account, which is dumb since I already have one.  Again, finding this nonsensical.  Anyone else?  Any info on this? 

Android S2 Sonos app crashes on Samsung phone and Lenovo Android tablet.Android reports ‘this app crashed because it has a bug’ immediately after tapping ‘System’ from the Settings menu.Both Android OS and Sonos app have gone thru several updates since this issue started last summer.The latest Sonos version 15.2 did not fix the issue.On the tablet, if I uninstall/reinstall Sonos the app will let me tap System without crashing one time only.  Then, to access System again, I need to uninstall/reinstall the Sonos app. Then I can tap System without a crash for one time again, and the cycle repeats.On the phone, the crash occurs whether or not I uninstall/reinstall. I cannot access System even one time from the phone.This behavior seems like a giant clue. Does anyone know of a fix?

Hi I owns a system composed by a sonos arc and two sonos one SL distributed in different roomas. In all of the i have the same problem. I play music from my Android mobile (Galaxy S23 Ultra). I don´t use steaming services, I have de music as mp3 files into the mobile. The problem is that everytime the mobile goes to sleep continuous reproducing music for a time and then interrup it until I unblock the phone and then reconects automatically.I have check into the mobile the configuration for the battery / second plane and I have added Sonos App between the apps without suspension but still have the same problem.Any idea about how to configure the mobile in the right way?
