Remember when Sonos was such a great app?We could access our own music files on external hard drives.We could access our saves playlists and albums.We could add to the queue, almost unlimitedly.We could select recently played without “Something went wrong...”What else?Ah...them were the days!

Well I accidentally updated after putting it off.  About half of my soundbars and speakers are no longer showing up, inexplicably. The app is comically buggy and slow. Music randomly plays - or not. Massive volume lag. It throw random errors in app e.g. Sonos Favorite not available or missing stereo pair.  I have great, normal WiFi in a small home. Never had any issues with Sonos and my relatively simple setup. And now I can’t listen to music or watch movies. Without probably spending a day factory resetting everything from scratch. Ruining a get together that was supposed to happen.  All because I updated an app. I didn’t think it would be as bad as everyone says - yet here we are. Maybe an apology, Sonos?

I can no longer play audio from Amazon Music Unlimited on my system: the songs start fine, but then cut out after a few seconds. I get an error about my network bandwidth being insufficient to maintain the playback buffer--which is utter nonsense: I can stream 4K movies. Also, I can play Amazon Music on my laptop via wifi just fine.I suspect the issue is that Amazon Music now has UHD/hi-res music and my Sonos system is old (3 Play:5, 4 Play:1, Playbar and Sub (Gen 1)). None of my components are listed in the blog article bragging about support for high-res audio.Does this mean that I now own an entire house full of audio equipment that won’t stream from my subscription music source? Or is there a way to listen to Amazon Music in lower quality on Sonos? (I tried removing Amazon Music from my Sonos App (version 1) and re-adding it, to no avail.)Alternatively, if I dump my Play:5 speakers, upgrade to Sonos App 2, and purchase a couple of Sonos components that are listed in the blog articl

I keep trying to sign in to the app and it’s not letting me

Continually getting an error from the Sonos app that SiriusXM was not added.  Adding the service, then being directed to Sirius to login. That all works and Sirius says it's good to go.  Going back into sonos there is an error everytime stating it was not added, something went wrong, and to try again.  This is all as of today.  I am using the latest SiriusXM app as well as the new Sonos app.Any suggestions?

I'm unable to connect Spotify over WiFi while I'm playing music on my phone anymore, the microphone won't turn on for voice controls, and I noticed that the Sonos app will not load up my Spotify service, even though it says it's connected. Any thoughts on troubleshooting?

Hi, I’m new to the forum and not tech savvy. Just wanted to voice my complete disbelief at the 913 error code. With the new update I can not figure out how to turn off music in all rooms

The new app on my android devices will not connect to Amazon Music.  Just says ‘An error occurred. Try again later’.   The app on the desktop pc still works.  What do I need to do to fix this please?

Why does the About My System section of the new App no longer display the WM:0 or WM:1 information?

Man konnte dort den Namen der Quelle, Autoplay und Stärke des Signals etc. einstellen.  Der Wecker ist ja wieder aufgetaucht. The new app somehow seems to have lost the ability to play a station on Tidal. Where is the play button ?   only way I can play music is via tidal app. Which I don’t want to do all the time.   

Hi,A couple of weeks ago now I decided to check the software updates within Sonos, and there was an update available. I then updated the software. Ever since then, my music library on my laptop and desktop Sonos apps has disappeared. I've tried going into Manage > Music Library Settings and tried to add my library from my PC back into Sonos again. However, when choosing my music folder, I then get an error that says, Sonos was unable to add the music folder. Reason: Unable to add the shared folder "//DESKTOP-folder name/Music" to your Music Library (913).I thought at first that it must just be a Sonos blip that will be corrected at some point with a further update. That was 2 weeks ago now. I'm sure some of you in here have experienced this. Can someone tell me how I get my music folder back into my Sonos app? Thanks.HB

Cannot connect multi room or stream music to multi rooms.  Since I have updated to the new app, I have lost the ability to stram music to multiple rooms.  I can see all my devices, but once I select an additional speaker the app repons wit unable to connect, try again later.  All speakers is on the same network and part of the same system. Any help? 

Been holding hope for the new app as I did not routinely use the missing features, and despite glitches with the volume control, it was working ok for me.As of the latest release - multi-room is completely unstable.   For context - my system has been extremely reliable for many years, and I have not made any changes to wifi or potentially conflicting devices on my network.Now I often find a zone to be unreachable, or “phantom” playing such that the app thinks it’s working, but no sound is coming out.If I “play everywhere” (6 zones with 10 devices) things are very slow to start, but eventually playing sync is ok.   However in a few minutes, rotating drop outs start - constant random drops for a few seconds on various zones - eventually just playing on a few zones, leaving other zones “phantom” playing…. the app thinks the zones are working, but no sound from some of them.Completely unbelievable.   I’ve been a huge advocate for Sonos and the “magic” “seamless” multi-room experience.   Wh

Not sure if anyone else has this issue.  Since the upgrade, I cannot access my saved favorite radio stations. It says "something went wrong".  I can only access them by going to the radio app, choose location, then country,  then city, then station that I want to hear.  If I then decide to play my favorites from Spotify as an example, I need to repeat the steps above to listen to a radio station. Shortcuts DO NOT work, particularly radio. 

Why can I not listen to my streaming  radio stations from abroad anymore , but I can still listen to them on radio.net , which is a streaming provider on Sonos?It either says:‘Something went wrong. Try again.’or it keeps buffering.  

Hi there I’m having an issue with no longer being able to find a radio station called “NRJ FM” on MyTuner radio. This seemed to disappear about 1-2 months ago. The station still exists as I can play it online through a web browser just not through MyTuner Radio. Can anyone advise options to get this restored?thanks! 

First of all, let me state that we are still running S1 here.We have been Sonos users for 15+ years. Our first use case was playing music from a NAS - initially in NYC (so internet available) and then a place upstate with intermittent / slow internet - that was a challenge, on occasion, for firmware and controller updates.Internet upstate is now much more reliable but, it does come in overground and when we lose power - not infrequent (we have a generator for those occasions) - we often lose internet as well (our provider uses the same utility poles, generally). We still want to be able to play music from our NAS when the internet is unavailable.Now, to my question, with the S2 app are we obliged to have internet access in order for our Sonos to play music from our NAS?

In Japan, there have been no updates for about a month, and many users have been unable to enjoy movies or music. Despite this, there has been no official announcement regarding the status of improvement, and the situation has been left unattended. Is Sonos even aware of this serious situation? And is there any prospect of improvement?

I have had my Sonos 1 successfully connected at home for years now .I was able to control my home automation via Alexa on it and also listen to music. However approx 6 weeks ago everything stopped . I cannot connect to my router / mesh network, I cannot use Alexa etc etc. I have tried everything...turning things on and off , factory resets, reinstalling the Sonos app but to no avail. There is a 90 minute wait on the help desk. Can anyone please suggest something or could Sonos have the courtesy to call me. Thanks in advance

I have no,idea what blind deaf and dumb focus group tested the new Sonos app but it is by a long way the worst update ever.Its glitchy,adjusting anything is tricky,sound in particular.Whoever decided to remove the ability to save songs to your Spotify playlists obviously doesn’t use the app and also wtf doesn’t want to be able to edit playlists,I mean 🤬.Lets just keep,the noise up for as long as it’s needed,I may resort to defacing public works of art….

Several weeks ago, I was infuriated by the new app and how many features it broke. As others noted Amazon music was almost unusable. At least my vacation has tempered my disappointment a bit.  Now when I try to play an album from “albums just for you” it plays some other random music by a different artist. At least it’s still jazz, I guess. This new app is laughable.Is anyone else noticing this behavior?  Tap album from list, album appears, tap play and something different will play! 

How do you set all zones to play same song or Sonos station?
