Discovered the new app had installed this evening, so far I seem unable to:-Connect to Amazon MusicPlaylists have dissapeared from the user interfaceIt does not seem possible to add songs to existing playlists (the options have disappeared)The app hangs and dosen’t load from time to time and needs a re-startIt seems that this is a bit of a car crash tbh, and I wonder if there is an urgent fix coming or the ability to roll back to a previous version?

After the recent Sonos update it now only plays the same songs over and over from Amazon Playlist. I've over 1200 in it and Sonos now just plays the same 20-40 repeatedly.When viewing what's playing in the list through Sonos it now no longer loads information. Is this getting fixed? 

The new UI is awful -very unintuitive. Please change it back.

Hello, I have a problem to connect my Play1 to updated Sonos app. I am not able to connect the loudspeaker to my system through Wi-Fi. It seems that the new app is not compatible with my device. I am new owner of SONOS One speaker, and I am very PISSED OFF. I can’t use it. I have only iPhone 13 iOS 17.5. Dont have iPad. IT DOES NOT WORK!!!. I gave an app priviledges to use my local network and it still tells me I did not. Unable to setup new device.SONOS app. ver. 80.00.08

Just purchased a Sonos sub, arc and 2 speakers and nothing connected to the app. After about 2 hours finally got the arc and one speaker to work with the app the sub and the other speaker have been connected to the WiFi several times but won’t show up as devices

Why is the new app now censoring profanity. I have Apple Music set to NOT censor, and when I play music directly through the Apple Music app, censoring does not occur. So, the Sonos app is censoring even though I have adjusted the setting in the app not to. Could this app update be any worse? Really. I work for a software company, and heads would be rolling down the street like a soccer ball giveaway at Walmart if we released a piece of software this bad.

Is it possible to have 2 completely separate Sonos systems set up on the one app, one in the uk and one in Portugal obviously on different internet set ups? 

For the new sonos app - specifically for the sonos amp - the amp sub controls (for third party subs - including switching on the third party sub or off and crossover frequency) cannot be found anywhere under settings or amp settings or sound settings.I have read that some sonos users can see this but I certainly can't. I have submitted a diagnostics again for sonos to debug. I also just updated the app moments ago (9th June'24) The update still didn't fix this. Come on sonos - the old app had this flawlessly implemented - why is the new app so buggy?

19 June - have just spent over 2 hrs 20 mins on phone to Sonos Support Australia. Since new app download i cannot authorise Sonos Radio nor My Cloud library. Keeps going round in circles. Tells me I am not logged in when system settings show I am. Over the last few weeks  I have played all the usual games. Log out log in. Reset modem, disconnect reconnect speakers and all multiple times. Delete app reinstall app, try phone rather than tablet, all with no rexult. Today's 140 mins also a complete waste  of time. Guy had no more idea than I had. He logged into my tablet remotely, and repeated all the games I had previously played and with the same results. Cone on Sonos, instead of bombarding us with emails about buying new products,, junk this App and restore previous version. This situation where long term product users are being forced into subscription services is not on. 

When I try to switch from station A to station B it doesn't work- station A remains tuned. The only way to switch is to tune first station C, then go back to B. Its only one of the many quirks of the app, but in my case the workaround works. I'd enjoyed streaming radio and my PC music library to my Sonos One SL (stereo) system for just short of a year when the powers that be decided to "improve" things. Since then I've been unable to stream my library (apparently available from mid June..?)and now the mobile app can't detect my system on the network so I'm having to set it up every day, then as soon as I set it up the app can't find it again. Very frustrating!!

Since the latest update - 80.03.06 - all my favorites and playlists are gone again. They have just vanished into thin air. Again. Right now i can`t use this sonos s***. Dear sonos. Please fix your lousy app. Also the alarm function don`t work. Since latest update the alarm will now not play a number from a playlist i my favorites.Once again sonos have made an update that don`t work. I suspect my problems are relating to the new app, but I am now unable to access my stored music on my networked hard drive. My Sonos playlists have completely disappeared. For someone who has spent hours compiling these playlists and with a vast amount of music available on my hard drive I am feeling totally let down by Sonos. I’ve built my whole music listening experience around the Sonos system and 90 % of it has been taken away for this “upgrade”! The app is not easy to navigate, there is no ability to create a playlist, you cannot add to queue or edit! No access to a local library. I cannot believe this has been rolled out with so many functions that were the mainstay of Sonos being removed. Basically all I am  able to do is stream music services only. Is there any way of going back to the old app or a “work around” to access my own music and restore my playlists? 

I recently installed an Orbi Mesh system. Things were working fairly well with Sonos but was having a couple aggravating issues and so I reached out to Netgear Support. One of my issues was that when listening to Apple Music, songs would occasionally stop and 5s or so later, the music would start again at the next song. As well, sometimes when grouping or un-grouping zones, I was getting an inconsistent response in the App. It would take too long to perform whatever operation I had attempted. Finally, in my 5.1 set-up the two Play 1’s and Sub were showing as disconnected but were in fact working (this is still the case).  Netgear support had me change the MTU on the router from 1500 to 1460. They also had me change the 2.4ghz from Auto to channel 6.  I believe Sonos recommends the 2.4ghz to be on Auto? The 5ghz was already set to what she recommended.  All of this occurred around the same time that Sonos also pushed out updates. My system does seem to be wo

The 80.03.06 update returned SonosNet Management.What's the deal, why?I thought it wasn't as efficient and effective as regular Wi-Fi?

I have purchased the Arc & Sub about 3 months ago (brand new from Costco) and last week added a pair of Era 300 speakers (brand new from Costco). When I originally added the 300’s, I paired them together in stereo. As I was about to tune them with the TruePlay app (the option was available), I figured I should add them as surround speakers, then tuned all 3 speakers & Sub. When I tried to add them, the app stated that no surround speakers could be detected. No problem, I removed the stereo pairing then added the surround speakers to the Arc & Sub in the “Living Room”. BAM! Easy as pie! Next I went to tune the speakers but, the TruePlay option was gone from the App. I am I missing something?

I got a new router, and read online that the easiest way to transfer my existing, working pair of play:1s was to factory reset them and create a new system on the new network. I did this, and the system cannot see the system. Additionally, at the end of adopting each speaker, the following message was displayed: “Your Play:1 has been added but may not appear in the system tab. If so, unplug the power cord and plug it back in to finish setup from the System tab.” Accordingly, I did as it suggested, and the system is not found. I’ve repeatedly factory reset and readopted the devices, to no avail: the system is never found. I’m not quite sure what else to try. This had taken hours and I have an unusable pair of speakers. I’ve read elsewhere that factory resetting devices may not remove them from “my system,” whatever that is. How should I proceed?

Latest iOS app update that was dated yesterday 6/17 is full of bugs - dropping music intermittently and dropping playlists from Apple Music and Amazon Music - all worked without issue prior to latest update.  System is now broken.  Please, please roll back the update until it’s fixed and ready for use.

You took away so many excellent user features, for example mono on port what happened to changing channels for Wi-Fi? Intuitive function has gone  completely away. It is almost impossible to use this update as almost everyone of my Sonos customer has said to me and that’s about 40 people not one of them likes the new update. Is there anything you can do to go back to the last Sonos S2 it worked basically perfect signed a very frustrated Sonos sales person/Installer!  Signed a tired Installer getting service calls because of your app!

I noticed there is a difference in the Audio In format shown between the new iOS app and the desktop app. Whilst watching a program,  In the desktop app I am seeing Dolby Multi Channel PCM 2.0, but in the app it displays Dolby MAT 2.0Why is this different in the 2 apps ?Is there a simple guide that SONOS can provide to explain the different sound formats that are displayed.

We just moved to a new house and reconnected our NAS and Sonos speakers… only to discover that we can no longer play all the music stored on the NAS.  Using the iOS app, the Music Library is there, it shows our albums, the cover art is missing  and nothing plays.  There is simply no option to edit the folder, add a new one, or otherwise manage the Music Library. We have 2 Sonos One speakers.  Our music library is stored on a QNAP NAS which does support SMB 2 and 3.  The Sonos ios app on our iphone 13 and 14 phones will not work… I’ve read a lot of comments on this and am trying to sort it out.  How can it be true that Sonos would remove the ability to play from my own music library… when they are still advertising that this is a distinguishing “feature” for the system?
