I finally took the risk of retuning my system with the new app. I have an Arc, two Era 300s and two subs (7.2.4). After it finally completed the sliders had all reset to center,  but the surround speaker distances are all set to >10ft, whereas in actuality they’re about three feet from my listening space. In the previous app after TruePlay these settings were greyed out. Does anyone know what’s going with this setting now? Do I leave it alone or set it where it should be? Thanks in advance…

When is the snooze function being reintroduced to the Sonos app?

Since a Sonos update several weeks ago I have been unable to connect to my music library.  Several hrs with level 1 support got me no where .  I made an appointment with Level 2 support that was for today ( an hour ago).  Instead of a call I got an e-mail telling me to schedule another appointment. The next available slot is over 2 weeks away.  I don’t fault the support people as much as I fault the management that has allowed this to happen.   This is a symptom of a very sick companyModerator edit: recorded and removed case number

Why am I not able to transfer music from my Mac desktop to my Sonos ?

When choosing music to play for an alarm using iOS I am limited to Sonos Playlists and Sonos Favorites.  I am not able to choose music from Apple Music.  Why is this?  

Cannot increase volume on phone to a loud enough setting

Hi can someone please advise me please my system keeps loosing connection on my phone then a few days later it will show all my speakers then go off again this has been happening for a few weeks. I have reset all my speakers but it keeps happening contacted Sonos on the phone for over two and a half hours reset everything from WiFi unplugged everything got it going  ten minutes later no connection this is driving me mad can someone please help me

Hellosince about 2 weeks, it is impossible to stream France Inter on Apple Music or TuneIn. The sound is interrupted and is unstable. It was working perfectly before. 

Regarding “Check if Sonos is in a wireless or wired setup” - I’m looking at my Sonos System Info and do not see the W:x settings described in the article. Why not?

Since the new app has been out i haven't been able to unpair my era 300's from the arc and sub 🙄Anyone else having this issue? The new app has been a absolute headache for me, cant unpair anything, im actually worried if they did unpair, they wouldnt reconnect to the arc and sub, cant add songs to my sonos playlists anymore, they can only be added to your sonos favourites, my app constantly crashes and on the odd occasion i lose some of my speakers, they just stop playing and vanish from the app for 3-5 mins then reappear!I hope these issues get sorted pretty quickly, its already been a few weeks since the new app launched and its been a huge disappointment in my opinion, i so wish there was a way of going back to the previous app like ive seen hundreds of others asking to do, surely its possible to do this for the ppl experiencing great difficultys with the new 1 sonos?

Sadly, Sonos has proven that it is unable to create a good mobile application.Instead, it made the life of everyone worse. It also did not comment on rolling back to the previous version, which worked well.Sonos should focus on creating things they do well: hardware.Sonos should open source the protocols to connect to their speakers and provide stable apis to work with them. That way, open source developers can create their own products that work with Sonos. None of us users is then forced to deal with the bad decision making that happened.Sonos: please rollback to the previous version first. Make the protocols to connect to your hardware available free and open source, so we users can build or use alternatives.

how do i add music to my existing playlist

Tracks advance OK from music Library but S1 controller gets stuck and does not change the track title and album cover with the tracks. Eventually it will catch up but only after several more tracks are played.  The listing of songs in queue is correct but the app does not show what is currently playing.

Trueplay still not working on my arc sl with the newest update 80.02.04. it gets stuck on the begin tuning. Like nothing happens when you press begin tuning.  Is anyone else still having the same problem?  Thanks

The equalizer have never been working 

I don’t know if this is correlation or causation, but after upgrading my products to current versions I’m having audio dropouts all over the house. My normal triage is to power-cycle speakers, power-cycle router and Boost, and check for Wi-Fi channel conflict between home network and Sonosnet. The first two have no effect. The last is not possible because I can find no way to do so in the iPhone or Mac app.I notice that the Boost is no longer sold. Is it still supported? Will removing the Boost and converting to a wired network fix my audio problem?

Does this new App control both S1 and S2 Sonos devices? I have a client that has a bunch of older Sonos Amps and now he is buying some new Sonos Arcs. He is having to use two different apps and he does not want to have to do that. 

 Nee Sonos app (black S2 app 2024) is awfull. Does not work even on latest OS phone. There are  connection problems, no option to choose catagory like artist, song, album, radio etc while search etc. Only one plain search window.. does not yield satisfactory search results. The screen is covered with lot of icons of various albums which is annoying. The earlier gold colour sosos s2 app was good. Not able to use several Sonos  speakers at my home due to this new sonos app problem. The offline music players seem good than than such advanced music player system..The Sonos speakers are unused because of this new sonos app (2024) problem.

Now that updated Sonos app is working can we get a variable sleep timer? Like allow any minute increment instead of a minimum of 15? Thanks for considering!

Why can't I add my music library, in the updated app? It's not an option in manage my content.

Is there a way I can rollback the new sonos ios app that I accidentally upgraded to on my iphone/ipad ?I would like to go back to the earlier version until all the bugs/glitches etc are fully resolved on the new app released in last few days.

I have two Play:5’s (gen 2) that I can’t create a stereo pair with. They are both on my system and the app says they are fully updated but when I try to pair them, I get an unhelpful, generic error message. Has anyone been able to troubleshoot a similar problem?

I have been setting up Sonos systems for clients in the last 10-15 years. This new client set up has simply 3 Sonos Amps. I used the Sonos app to add the three Sonos Amps using clients designated email. Once finished, I tried logging in to the app. it asked is this an existing system or new system (it prob. didn’t recognize the setup that I just did), but it said it sees three components on this account and asked me which one I want to connect to. I could only choose one, so It connected me to that one Sonos Amp, The other two are not in the account and don’t show up or could be added.Very unusual behavior for an app that has been working perfectly for so long. Any suggestions?

Running the latest Sonos app (sadly) and decided to try to Airplay music to my Move 2 that was grouped with an Amp.  All worked ok, except the volume control only controlled the combined volume.  I had no ability to raise or lower the separate volumes of the Amp or Move 2 without physically using the controls on the devices.  I’m assuming this is yet another bug in the latest app?  Or maybe another “feature” that was left out and will be coming in a future release?

How to play downloaded music with no shuffle limit? I have a monster playlist that is truncated to the same tiny set of songs and I have a party coming up!
