Hi. I'm aware that there are already discussion threads around this, but they haven't helped (that could be my ignorance). I have a Sonos Five linked to my Spotify account. How do I use the crossfade feature? I find the whole interface between the two systems confusing at the best of times, so may be doing something wrong. For clarity...I start a playlist within Spotify, then cast to my Sonos speaker from Spotify. Sonos app allows me to press the 'Crossfade' toggle to 'on', but as soon as I go back to the main menus it defaults to 'off' again. Additionally...Spotify won't allow a user to use the crossfade option when casting songs to a speaker system.  I have been on Live Chat and Sonos rebooted the system...to no avail. Hope I've explained myself. Hi, I have problems with the app and it wants me to update and when ready it goes back to update. It’s looping and it never ends. What to do?

Sonos app says version is 80.01.08 is up to date but the latest update is 80.02.05. Why won’t the app update? App is set to update automatically.

I can select a station from  MyTuner and it plays fine. It appears in my Recently Played list as expected.  However, subsequently, when I try to select that same station from the Recently Played list I get a message " An error has occurred" and the station does not play.  I can re-select it from MyTuner and it plays again.

I have recently upgraded my system from S1 to S2.   I want to turn the status light off on a newly added Connect:Amp.  However I don’t see the status light toggle in the app - i’m sure it appeared there previously.  Anybody know where the toggle is?  

It used to be you could see UPnP servers as a possible music source in the SONOS app. I no longer see this option.Am I missing something?Thx.

Sonos app has been rock solid for past few years, this latest app is... How can I put it... Rubbish!!! It automatically updated on my phone, so now I can open it, no issues, go to my playlists, no issues... But that's as far as it goes, always starts from the top track, I can't scroll through & choose the song I want to listen to... Totally understand the logistics & tech of doing an upgrade... But it was wasn't broken, so no need to fix it. I now don't have the option for a widget on my Google phone & app is no more useful, just things in different places. Plus I can't play the tracks I want... Sonos... I now can't use your product... They're sitting there in silence... Tried to chat to support... But miracles are few & far between nowadays... Please sort this out... Getting very vexed...

I have a large number of Sonos devices in my home and until the change in app it was all working ok. Since they brought the alarms function back a strange thing has been happening. The alarms that are set in the evening for my children to have sleep music now work, they did not at first, but the ones that are set as alarms in the morning for multiple rooms do not. I have deleted them and reinstalled them but it does not work. I have used the chat fiction with Sonos and provided the analytics but they could not help and I am now in a 105minute queue for an adviser, please help as I cannot understand what is going on and cannot get any help. 

Hello I try to connect the Sonos ray to the app and when I fill the WiFi password then I have an Error 1.101 which says that the Sonos cannot be update and also login to the internet. If anyone knows please help me 

Since the terrible update to my iPad and iPhone. I'm trying to put the path to my music library on the Mac desktop as its not now showing. I have a hard drive attached to the USB port on my BT Hub all was working before the updates so after putting in the path //192 etc/usb2/music I get the Sonos was unable to add the shared folder with an error code of 913 ?I can see the bt hub and the music folder on my Mac network folder.I don't understand why it says this as all was working fine a week ago .to try to speak to a Sonos on a call says I would have to wait an hour and a half ! the Mac app is build 16.2 Can anyone hep please ?

I am having trouble setting up my new sonos sound bar

HiA bit of an odd one. It seems I can set repeating alarms for every Monday to Friday but it won't allow to set a repeat alarm for either Saturday or Sunday?Interesting I can set a repeating alarm for a Saturday or a Sunday if I include a normal weekday?Any ideas or suggestions? BTW I wish Sonos would make it easier to access Alarms rather than being hiding it away. 🤬I also notice on the Alarm settings dont appear to be available on internet Sonos version when using my PC🤬  

My Sonos Radio recently stopped working (all the other services work fine, on all 8 speakers)The APP says “Your Sonos Radio account access has expired”  when I try and reauthorise it, it fails.  it says “Couldn’t sign in”   even though I am using my valid account Is there some way you recommend that I can have my account re-validated?

This problem (for me at least) is specific to radio stations accessed via the Tunein and Sonos Radio services on Sonos. RTE is available on the Tunein app and through a Google device. is this just me?

3 seperate rooms are open and can't close them.

Does anyone know when this terrible new app will be fixed or updated?

Been a loyal Sonos user since 2013 and this latest app is wreaking havoc on my listening. The lag in the volume adjustment is really bad. The only part of controlling the audio that seems to work is the mute, which is the only way to prevent potential hearing loss and wincing looks from everyone in the room.Like many Sonos users, listening to music is one of the most important parts of my day and, living in a 120 year old house, accessing it in whatever room I’m in is a luxury that Sonos has afforded me for years. Not any more.So, community, what are your workarounds? I run everything from Tidal using Airplay to connect to Sonos. I tried running everything from Sonos but the interface is too clunky.

Similar to many users I lost connection to my music library which sits on a Laptop running windows 10. Also meant library disappeared on IPad and Phone. I read one suggestion that suggested taking the option to add the library from an NAS effectively tricking SONOS in to thinking the laptop is an NAS. I did this and after a bit of playing to get the path title right SONOS connected to my library. The library is now available on all my devices as before and working. Worth a try , better than waiting for the possible fix mid June or waiting 60 mins to talk to someone in SONOS support.I’m happy I can now play my music but think SONO’s performance in this upgrade is nothing short of scandalous.

What the hell is going on with Sonos??  I’ve had speakers for a decade and have added more over time and everything has been great.  Mostly controlled thru Alexa app using Amazon music.   I love my Sonos system and the great sounds it provides.HOwever….For the last 3 months tho, has been nothing but problems.   One day everything works fine, the next day only one speaker works, next day 3 work, next day 2 work, next all is fine.   At first I thought maybe it was just a problem with conflicts with Amazon, but then I tried Sirius XM….same result.  Then I tried Sonos music, same result.   Sometimes multiple speakers will play, but I can only control the volume on one.  Next time same issue, but volume control only works on a different speaker.   Its just a never ending list of random scenarios that changes daily and sometimes multiple times in a day.   I’ve tried everything I can think of to resolve….resets, delete and reload apps, etc.  Is there anything to solve this other than scraping

How in new useless 2024 app switch from music too tv again.this on ipad iphone?

Got a new roam.spotify and radio work. Music plays and sound comes out etc.Apple Music won’t play any sound even though Sonos app shows it’s playing, each track looks as though for a few seconds then skips to the next track. It goes through a few tracks then returns to the beginning and stops. tried the Sonos live chat and went through numerous things, then they said I’d need to call and they would remotely connect, along with a case number. However the wait time was 75 minutes! plus the live chat dialog box closed and I don’t have a note of the case number (wasn’t expecting it to disappear).  btw iPad will play Apple Music via airplay, but not through Sonos app.tia

I have two stereo sets of Play:1 and am using the iOS app. I can see my system a the music choices but I get an error message when trying to play anything. 

Is Sonos planning on bringing  back the ability to play music library that is on my hard drive? 

How does this new crap update manage to scroll through storytell's catechoria. When I press categories it doesn't show anything. The only way to search for books is to search for them by name
