Tell us about your local network: it is having trouble when devices change frequencies by the sounds of it.

Quick fix: disable 5GHz on your wifi.

Hello controlav,

how do I deseable 5ghz in my wifi?  I was expecting to be able to use Sonos speakers in an easy way e.g. selecting the WiFi and that is all.   I was not expecting to be a technical expert to use them.

thank you.

It’s your router, go find the manual for it and disable 5GHz.

Assuming that fixes the problem, put the router in the trash and get a better one. Sonos requires network routers that actually route correctly, which you would think would be a reasonable expectation, but isn’t.
