Installed new app and it wiped out my iTunes library, how do I get it back to play on my SONOS system?

Thanks for that, however I do not subscribe to Apple music, have always used the music folder on my PC, have no wish to subscribe to any other accounts as I have quite a large library already.


Same thing happened to me. Here is how I fixed it. I use windows on a desk top. Go into the folder your music is stored in, for example say its called "rolling stones”.

Right click on the folder

Click on Properties

click on "sharing"

click on "advanced sharing

Tick the box that says "share this folder"

Go back to sonos, hit "manage my music” and then browse to find this folder of your C drive or wherever, and then press next and "done”. this will load all your music back on.

I dare say the recent upgrade unticked the share box in all our music files


Thanks tried that as well but no luck, just shows “unable to add music (913).


Hi, I’m having the same issue as above. Since installing the new update my iTunes has been wiped and I can't find an answer anywhere that helps. Any suggestions on how to resolve it would be greatly appreciated.


I had the same problem with error 913. People have come up with a lot of workaround suggestions in these 2 threads. 

 


Typical.  Every time I have updated Sonos, with few exceptions, I end up spending hours tryin g to get everything working again.  At least in prior versions, I could navigate to my iTunes Library folder (on an external hard drive) and add it back in.  Now, I cannot even figure out how to do anything to restore what used to be working just fine.  I have thousands of albums in my library!  So frustrating. They should try testing their updates before releasing them on an unsuspecting public.  Complete crap quality control.

Same here, itunes library played ok for years. Now I can not access itunes library on my PC or iphone using sonos.

I need an answer here or I’m going down a different music route.

Enough is enough and sonos are not coming up with a solution.
