Hi, I am just about to download sonopad and wondered if it has the same capability as the old sonos app? Ie room selection, grouping rooms etc.

It does but you have to get used to it.

No administrative functions is the big difference IME (besides that it actually works)

Ditto @Bumper. SonoPad (and SonoPhone) are Frustration-Free™ making them worth every penny.

Hands down better than the Sonos screwed up app..that they can’t seem to simply fix.

Sonophone and sonopad are very good for operating the system.

SonosTube works well with YouTube output.

SonoSequencr is new to me but a sophisticated means of manipulating the system.

Phonos plus is brilliant and essential if you value your playlists - import, export etc.
