Please include a shortcut for Alarms on the App’s home screen!

We own two Play:1 units (paired) and one Play:5 (1st gen) and have had them for over 10 years; through either TuneIn or myRadio Tuner we have been able to play our favourite radio station CKUA (from Edmonton Canada). We use the Sonos 2 App for the Play:1 speakers and the Sonos 1 App for the older Play:5 unit, and they have worked flawlessly until this past update (May 2024) version 80.01.08 for Sonos 2. The station is listed under a myTuner Radio search, but just will not play. We have had issues trying other stations as well. I do not know what the "update" contained, but it has completely ruined our listening pleasure and made our speakers virtually useless to us! 

Hi folks,When I try to add anything from the Calm App such as a soundscape to my Sonos Favourites, it adds it to the list but they are always greyed out. I tried authorising the app again after deleting it and restarting the Sonos app but still getting the same issue.Apple Music tracks etc adds to the Sonos favourites and it lit up as it should be to select. Anyone got any other ideas why this is happening? Thanks.

How does the app keep getting worse and worse over time. It's too bad, I've had some of my Sonos speakers for around 10 years now. Even on a brand new phone the current app is not user friendly, missing functionality that it used to have. And removed the playlists I had. So disappointing given how great the whole experience used to be. The new update is much worse, missing basic functionality now,  So irritated. 

I am having a hard time getting my Apple Music Playlist playing correctly on Sonos via the Sonos app. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

Why can’t I see all of my Spotify Playlists? I can only see 50 of them. Is this a defect that is scheduled to be fixed?

The true play tuning is asking for the movement of my arm but after circle is completed it says error and try again. I tried again but the circle is not starting. Only see a green dot. But tuning sound is playing.reset done, installed app again. any tips and tricks?pieter  

I’m sure it’s not just me, but it’s possibly the worst ‘update’ yet! Can’t find half of the things which were previously easy to access. It’s a big 👎from me!

Sonos, why would you release an app upgrade with so many problems!? Where are my playlists? They're gone! Where are my alarms?  I can no longer edit or save the queue! Where are my albums? I can't change the home interface! I can delete some of the things you guys added automatically but there's nowhere I can see to add anything. What a mess!Don't you guys check your work? I've been reading some other letters and there are many more problems.SONOS PLEASE FIX THIS ASAP

I tried rolling back to version 78 for W10 and the “windows library” options were greyed and even when I got it to work, I still get the error “sonos was unable to add the music folder 913”….this is a serious testing error and the new version should never have been released as “live”….disgrace SONOS! please fix this ASAP as none of us should have to wait a month to play our own music library collections!

Hi,I am new to Sonos. I just purchased 2 sonos era’s and 1 beam. This is day 2 and I am still unable to setup my devices.. What a disaster is this.. I understood that I bought the speakers and the best moment I could.. The fantastic crappy new update.. Soo let me sum it up.New speakers, unboxed, app installed. Account created. Sonos devices discovered in network.. and then.. disaster loop begins..I gave the app the right to use my microphone, the speakers starts to make the sound to adopt. But the adoption never takes place.. the app even doesnt activate the microphone. I tried each one of the speakers one by one for a thousend times now. after second attempt the app gives the option to connect with code.. when select the option, the app crashes every single time. And yeah already tried remove and install app again.. and also install app on other phone.. No difference..After some research I found out that this new huge app release is a complete disaster a

I get the error message: “Something went wrong” in the app, never had it before, started today.I can play sonos radio, but nothing from spotify or other music services, when i click on playlist from that, it takes a while, then no graphics or music come up, just the silhouette of the player, and then the error message on top.

The old Sonos app showed what percent the battery of my Move & Roam were at in the app.   Now, all it shows is a battery icon with a lightning bolt in it to show that it is currently charging.  Being of limited vision, I can not tell if the battery is ‘full’ our not.  Is there a way to see what % the charge of these speakers is at?

Hi,Since the app update I can no longer play music on more than one unit at the same time. I have a Roam SL and an Era 100..and also an IKEA Symfonisk shelf speaker. Before it worked well to just add a unit and then the music would play on that as well. Now I get “Can’t connect, try again later”.It works perfectly fine to play on the units one by one and updating them has also worked. I can create a Group but playing using it won’t work. And not playing on one unit and trying to add another. Is there anything I have missed? or is this to be considered due to the new app?I have tried restarting router, disconnecting devices and so on...yet nothing has worked.

How do I shuffle & play songs on Sonos new app in my Apple Music Songs list?

I have 2 phantom “TuneIn (New)” music services which show up on my iPhone, iPad and in the web app but not in the Mac OS app.I can’t authorise them and I can’t delete them (“Accounts not removed. Something went wrong when removing your accounts. Please try again”).Sonos support have had me wipe and reinstall the apps and restart all speakers but that didn’t help. When I sent them a diagnostic they said that there is no TuneIn service installed.I was on the phone with them for an hour trying to get them to delete with no success. Anybody else seen this? Really odd.

I have two Sonos systems on two WiFi systems, on in the house and one in a garden office. Since the new App installed I now do not automatically connect when moving between the two systems despite my phone picking up the new WiFi zone. This did not happen with the old App. Just spent over an hour on chatbot to end with a suggestion that I disconnect my Boost in the house!!! The chatbot stated this was the first time this issue had been raised....anyone else experienced it?I am now in a 100minute queue on the helpline....

Greetings,Ever since this update my queue keeps being cleared. At first I felt was an anomaly - rebooted and all appeared to work fine. However, if I put the system to sleep and come back later the queue has been cleared. (I would have say 400 songs - and it is on song 20). Very annoying since these are music shows that are each 2hrs - and now I cannot remember the last nor where I was in the song.Anyahoo I now check everyday for a new update to see if this queue problem has been resolved.  Funny thing is - based on 40y+ of working with computers, I have never seen such a featureless app updated as much as this. And this last update now has rendered it almost useless.Sadly I am stuck using this app to play music onto the Sonos pair. One problem I have with the Sonos pairing is that from my PoV - there is no “singular point” to connect to - to reach the pair. With various music players they force you (via uPNP) to choose an IP but when you pl

Hi.  Just updated my sonos app and it does not open it just crashes.  can anybody help? 

Connectivity to Napster seems really messed up. Sometimes it can’t connect at all and gives an error that says “Something went wrong”.  Other times it connects, but only shows half of my content that should be in “My Music” and “My Artists”.  I see a longer list via the Napster website, but Sonos only sees half of it.  I restarted by wired “Port” device and it didn’t help.  The WiFi connected Roams and Hubs have the same problem.  I upgraded my Android app on my phone and it didn’t help at all.  What’s going on?

Adding app feedback here to the numerous requests for VPN support.I tunnel my internet connection to my home network over a Wireshark VPN while working remotely. The app flat out refuses to acknowledge my Sonos system (including Ace headphones) in spite of being connected to my home network where the app has access to Sonos product discovery packets. I can confirm that the devices are all accessible via their normal IP addresses, and that discovery packets are present on the network over VPN. I would like to strongly recommend that the app attempts discovery of a known Sonos system despite whatever wifi SSID it detects. There is no reason why it shouldn’t.My two cents.

This new app is one of the worst apps I have ever used! I have been a high end integrator for 30 years! I love Sonos but will now have to find a new music system to sell if they don’t fix this!

Is anyone else getting there Sonos settings , EQ etc cleared out and not saving? Even my trueplay is showing as if I haven’t done it, and also the all amps seem to be going “WiFi enabled” even if I had some “disabled”
