Controllers and Music services

I have 2 phantom “TuneIn (New)” music services which show up on my iPhone, iPad and in the web app but not in the Mac OS app.I can’t authorise them and I can’t delete them (“Accounts not removed. Something went wrong when removing your accounts. Please try again”).Sonos support have had me wipe and reinstall the apps and restart all speakers but that didn’t help. When I sent them a diagnostic they said that there is no TuneIn service installed.I was on the phone with them for an hour trying to get them to delete with no success. Anybody else seen this? Really odd.

I have two Sonos systems on two WiFi systems, on in the house and one in a garden office. Since the new App installed I now do not automatically connect when moving between the two systems despite my phone picking up the new WiFi zone. This did not happen with the old App. Just spent over an hour on chatbot to end with a suggestion that I disconnect my Boost in the house!!! The chatbot stated this was the first time this issue had been raised....anyone else experienced it?I am now in a 100minute queue on the helpline....

Greetings,Ever since this update my queue keeps being cleared. At first I felt was an anomaly - rebooted and all appeared to work fine. However, if I put the system to sleep and come back later the queue has been cleared. (I would have say 400 songs - and it is on song 20). Very annoying since these are music shows that are each 2hrs - and now I cannot remember the last nor where I was in the song.Anyahoo I now check everyday for a new update to see if this queue problem has been resolved.  Funny thing is - based on 40y+ of working with computers, I have never seen such a featureless app updated as much as this. And this last update now has rendered it almost useless.Sadly I am stuck using this app to play music onto the Sonos pair. One problem I have with the Sonos pairing is that from my PoV - there is no “singular point” to connect to - to reach the pair. Hi.  Just updated my sonos app and it does not open it just crashes.  can anybody help? 

Connectivity to Napster seems really messed up. Sometimes it can’t connect at all and gives an error that says “Something went wrong”.  Other times it connects, but only shows half of my content that should be in “My Music” and “My Artists”.  I see a longer list via the Napster website, but Sonos only sees half of it.  I restarted by wired “Port” device and it didn’t help.  The WiFi connected Roams and Hubs have the same problem.  I upgraded my Android app on my phone and it didn’t help at all.  What’s going on?

Adding app feedback here to the numerous requests for VPN support.I tunnel my internet connection to my home network over a Wireshark VPN while working remotely. The app flat out refuses to acknowledge my Sonos system (including Ace headphones) in spite of being connected to my home network where the app has access to Sonos product discovery packets. I can confirm that the devices are all accessible via their normal IP addresses, and that discovery packets are present on the network over VPN. I would like to strongly recommend that the app attempts discovery of a known Sonos system despite whatever wifi SSID it detects. There is no reason why it shouldn’t.My two cents.

This new app is one of the worst apps I have ever used! I have been a high end integrator for 30 years! I love Sonos but will now have to find a new music system to sell if they don’t fix this!

Is anyone else getting there Sonos settings , EQ etc cleared out and not saving? Even my trueplay is showing as if I haven’t done it, and also the all amps seem to be going “WiFi enabled” even if I had some “disabled” 

Sonos release 4 August 2024 (I'm guessing the date; I updated these on Tue 6 August):There is a fault with the Android & iOS controllers: neither display the section called "Your Sources", which, in my case consists of [1] Music Library and [2] Line-In [Amp]The Music Library is accessible (it resides on a powered-on Windows device) and (of course) I am able to see all of its contents on the Windows version of the controller.But when I start the Android controller and the iOS controller, neither controller shows "Your Sources". Note that the Windows device was already up and running and playing (using the Music Library) to a Roam speaker with no issue.I then power on both Sonos Play speakers (and the Line-In Amp) .. and magically.. the Android and iOS show up the "Your Sources" details.What could possibly have prevented seeing my sources on those two mobile versions?? Put in update yesterday and now I cannot add/edit/access or change the music Library. Run as Admin. Given FULL rights, Shared it. Shouted at it. I am an IT Pro of over 50 years experience. This needs fixing YESTERDAY. Contrition is good but results are better. Release rewind to prior WORKING update immediately please.

Hi all,I have updated my iPhone and iPad to the latest version of the Sonos App and on BOTH I have a BLACK icon with SONOS written across it.On the screens ob both It shows I have version 80.05.05 But ….. On my iMac I have also installed the latest version from the downloads page on SonoS and even though the website says 80.05 dated 7/22/2024 I can not see that version on my iMac .. It is still showing 16.3The icon is still the old GOLD icon.Is this correct ? I seem to be having many problems with my library at the moment after getting the newer versions.  

Greetings All. Been having a mare since new update as cannot add in Apple Music in Content Services.I have tried this from Android, iOS. Deleted both Sonos and Apple apps and tried again. Tried older version of Sonos app etc… On iOS and Android I cannot add any of the services listed. Strangely I tried on Windows and can add some services from there but when I try Apple Music it results in a message stating that ‘Apple Music must be added to Sonos from an iOS device or Android phone’. Anyone had any luck in resolving a similar situation>?

I have not used Sonos for a few months. When I logged in today it updated my controller to 80155014When I try to access my music library it says I do not have access to the folder (C:/user/../itunes)How do I use the system now?John Cattell

Please tell me I’m not alone in seeing a huge drain my device batteries since the 80.50.04 update. I’ve had music playing since about 8am currently 11:46am and it’s used 15% of my battery. 6mins screen time and 14h in the background?!?  Same across all my devices, this can’t be right surely? Has to be know issue, this is not acceptable. What are they doing mining crypto in background to prop up the share price?  *edit - turns out I can’t type, apologies for mistake  in the title 🤦‍♂️

I just played an old playlist. On my computer, where I am still using the old app, I see that it’s playing, and I can see that there are a lot of songs in the queue. But in the new app is says the queue is empty, even though it also says it’s playing a song. Is there a way to really see what is in the queue?

I really do love the Sonos stereo pair with sub system.  Got my wife one as well.  We share an Amazon Music account and all is well there.  Just added an Apple Music Family Account as well.  When using “Hey Sonos” commands there are songs that will play on mine and not on hers and other songs play on hers but not on mine.  Have never had this issue with Amazon Music.  We use Apple Music in her vehicle as well.  Any thoughts on why this is happening and how to remedy it?Thanks in advance..

The Sonos App works on my computer and my Samsung phone work fine, but I've downloaded onto my Wife's Iphone 14 and it just can't find the system. All are on the same Wifi network?

How do I control room volumes separately on this new app?  

So since the new app update my Sonos mini sub wouldn’t work with my Sonos ones tried to reset  however now it just won’t connect but will show up in the tab menu for a bit then disappear im also having issues with music going on & off or skipping as well as my ablums on Spotify saying something went wrong what going off here as I have over 10 Sonos items that cost me a lot off money for me not able to use the products properly what’s going off Sonos?????  

A couple of weeks ago I was able to add my own music to my Sonos system, tried to add a mix yesterday and I am now getting this error “UNABLE TO ADD SHARED FOLDER TO YOUR MUSIC LIBRARY (913)This is really annoying and frustrating that I can’t listen to my own tunes, what has changed? and is there a fix for this?

What on earth have sonos done. Five years of trouble free operation, and then today’s upgrade destroys the entire setup. Phoned the support line, only to be told 95 minutes wait time.its a joke…. I assume.????I wish there was an undo button. This truly is extremely irritating.
