Stability of new app worse than before?

I have struggled to navigate the UI of the new app over the past week.Apart from losing functionality to add, edit or delete items in the queue, today the app itself started to die.A slow death rattle.Firstly unresponsive on the Android tablet it used to work fine on.Then one of my paired stereo speakers died.Then speakers in another room started playing. Is this product still in Beta?Can we revert back to a version that works?

unable to connect (to everywhere)

Since the app “update”, I can EITHER connect to my Sonos Roam OR my Era 100s. Before the update I could connect the whole system. I used the Roam to take my listening experience out of the two rooms that my Era 100s are located. But now, when I try to connect to the Roam AND at least one Era 100, I get a pop up that says “Unable to connect. Try again later.” Well, I’ve been trying again later for a week now with no success.  Also, the sleep timer went away with this “update.”The old app was fine! It was easy to use and had great features. Why did Sonos ruin their app?Also, the chat bot on the support website just shut down. And the time to speak with a representative on the phone is 85 minutes. Moderator edit: combined posts

“Queue is empty”

S2 app on ipad freezes on opening with the above message on all four devices listed.Meanwhile S1 app on old iphone is working fine.Advice needed.thanks

Samsung S7 app won't start (T&C stuck)

My wife's Samsung S7 Sonos app won't start since the most recent update: the terms and conditions screen comes up with "US and rest of world except EU" and an arrow for a country list presumably. The list won't populate, and going back to the T&C screen it has a greyed out Accept button that won't do anything. She's extremely frustrated with this as the app was in daily use. Need help!

why cant i see my you tube playlist on sonos after update

After updating when i try to go to youtube play list it shows about 100 songs or so and the  repeats the playlist again in a loop and i have 300 songs on playlist and 600 on another list

with the new applicatio Sonos I can’t find my Play1 with wifiI tried with success once with ethernet, but impossible to connect them on my wifiI’ve alse have 3 Play5 (1st gen) with the sonos1 application and it’s working well I added my Play 1 but next the application don’t find any Sonos SystemPlease advice about new App / Play1 / wifi configuration thanks

Windows app stuck in endless loop, lost NAS library and 2 x Play 1 speakers now can't be added to system following reset

Having lost my NAS-based local library in the update (and no, it’s nothing to do with SMBv1 as my NAS / Windows 11 set up doesn’t use v1), I now don’t have a Windows app either. When I logged in this morning, I was forced to do an update. (V16.2 Build 79153290).After installation, I got a message suggesting the system need to check for updates. It checked, and everything was up to date. Then I had to log in again, to be told that some of the speakers are not registered to my account - the Play 1s are at least 8 years old. I clicked “Register” and then got a message to say everything was up to date, then had to log in, check updates and so on and so on. Tried “use app anyway” option, and this goes to same loop. Resetting the app? Same loop. Reinstalling? Same loop. The nett effect is that the windows app is now useless as well. In addition, the webapp doesn’t now show my local library at all (although it did until yesterday), only streaming services I neither have nor want.One comfort i

I Tunes

I have a connect amp driving  a pair of speakers and two sonos ones. My music library is stored on a pc in I tunes - all apple lossless. Very confused - are Sonos saying I will be able to access this again in Mid June or am I incorrect? NB I am not very computer literate so keep it simple Thanks

I've reached the maximum number if items for indexing

I run a S1 app system using a SONOS CONNECT and a NAS for storing my music files. I listen to mostly Classical Music and I have reached the maximum number of tracks that can be indexed by the S1 app. I had intended to use PLEX to overcome this issue but the PLEX forums say PLEX is hopeless at indexing classical music. Does anyone use othe software to overcome the.indexing issue? Or are there other 'work arounds'. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Sonos update just broke my system

What in the hell did Sonos put out. Totally unprofessional, the new iOS app, while not a horrible redesign after playing with it has no more alarm service and is not intuitive and is buggy, buggy, buggy. Also, the old alarm settings seem to be embedded somewhere as they are still working, but no way to change them, which needs to be done as they were done ad hoc.  The new mac laptops app doesn’t work at all. It all doesn’t play well together.  I mean really? I am into Sonos deeply, full surround system, multiple Moves and multiple Roams, a sub, two play 5’s various Sonos Ones. I’m a loyal and longtime supporter, but this update is very unprofessional and not well thought out.  Why in the world release something I and so many others say broke there system?

Questions about NAS and the new app

I am definitely not very technically proficient, so please bear with me. I have been a Sonos customer since 2010 and have had a very large music collection on a NAS (which has changed brand over time) all the time. Now I have a WD My Cloud, which is over 10 years old. With the advent of the new app, access to my own music disappeared overnight, as you know, and I am left with Spotify. Terrible.My question is whether I might as well buy a new NAS…? I have read that SMB1 is not supported by the new app – and in my NAS settings, I can't choose between SMB variants, which leads me to conclude that it must be equipped with SMB1 - or is this pure nonsense… can I establish it somehow? So, while Sonos gets around to re-establishing the connection to local music collections in their app, should I just bite the bullet and buy a new NAS? (which today presumably always has SMB2 and 3 built-in?) - or is it a waste of money?PS: I have found that I can still listen to my NAS music via the third-party

sonos beam + 2 sonos one problem since latest update (june 6th)

Since the latest android app update (the one from the 6th of june) I cant see  simultaneously my 2 sonos one SL and my beam in the app. If the 3 devices are plugged in then the beam doesn't show up, if I unplug a sonos one sl , suddenly the beam comes back. It's like if the app can show only 2 devices and not more.I have tried factory reset on the 3 of them, recreate a new room, uninstall and reinstall the sonos app, but I always end up in the same place.As a result I'm unable to set-up the 2 sonos one sl as surround speakers.What can I do?

Spotify list of an artist does not contain all items

Dear Community,i’ve a “special feature” of the newest SONOS App wich drive’s me a bit crazy.If i search within the Spotify App for e.g. an Actor “Bibi Blocksberg” i get all published albums as a result list as you can see here as an example - you see that “Folge 17: Der kleine Hexer” is shown up:Spotify Results If i do the same search within the SONOS App and go to the results from Spotify i get a quite limited list of items:Sonos Results of Spotify for the same ActorAs you can see the results are limited and the last Album i see is “Folge 127: Das verrückte Huhn”.. Any idea’s why this is limited in SONOS? It is useless for me as my little daughter is complaining that she does not see all the Albums anymore… Let me know your thoughts as well as the feedback from SONOS!!

Pixel can't see ERA 100s as a playback device when used as surrounds?

I've got the ARC and a pair of ERA 100s set up as a surround sound system. I understand that this disables Bluetooth on the 100s but what I don't understand is why I can't initiate music from my Pixel (Android) device? (The Sonos or ERA 100s are not an option to play back on.)If I go through the Sonos app to play back music from YouTube Music, it's a much more limited app. I can't just browse the YTM library.)Is this how the Sonos is supposed to work?
