Bonjour! Merci d’avance, Tobias
Hi there,I’m trying to group my rooms and the options, “+” and “Everywhere”, that are seen below are missing from my app. Any thoughts on how to address this?Group and ungroup rooms | SonosThanks in advance,s.
My 2 Symfonisks in my home office on the 2nd floor stops playing regularly. The other Sonos devices are working properly. I'm guessing it's wireless related, but I'm using SonosNet and the Symfonisks are not more than 3 meter away from the Play:1s. Another thing is that it’s also difficult to connect using Airplay to the Symfonisks and when it's connected it will disconnect after a short while. My setup is: Ground floor Living: Playbar (connected to router with ethernet cable) - Sub - 2x One as surround Ground floor Veranda: 2x One (pair) First floor Bedroom: 2x Play:1 (pair) Second floor: 2x Symfonisk (pair)All devices show WM:0Could you please advice what would be the set up?
Hi, I've changed the password of my Wifi after which I can't connect playbase anymore with WIFI. Used ethernet cable, updated, but the app can not find the device. When I unplug and replug it, hodling the play button it does not flash orange. Only when I let it go and press it agian. It does not go back to factory settings as far as I can see.Now i'm reading these threads and see all playbases are being replaced. Is this a hardware fault, how can a update result in replacing all hardware (just a question from my side).I'll run diagnostics tonight and send the code.
I switched the source of an alarm to BBC Radio 1 on BBC Sounds. It was previously set to the same station but on Tune In and has worked flawlessly for around 5 years. In the two days since I changed source I've been woken with the Sonos chime. I'm running S2 although I've only been on S2 for about a week. Anyone else have this issue?Cheers
I’ve been listening to channel 793 Court TV on Sirius through Sonos and today it says channel is no longer available. On their channel lineup it goes from 792 to 794. I know this is a Sirius issue but their customer service is awful. Does anyone know what is going on please? Thank you.
I have an Arc, Sub, 2 One SL, and a Boost. 2-3 times per week (that I’ve noticed) Sonos disconnects from my WiFi. I know my WiFi is alive as I work from home and am always connected. I usually notice when I ask Alexa a question and my Arc doesn’t respond. After a few minutes, everything comes back alive. Today I noticed a disconnect and I saw my Sonos devices connect thru the app. Are there any logs that I can check to determine if it’s a problem with my Boost, Arc, or my WiFi?
I’ve been reading about how interference or loss of wireless connection can kick a playlist off the alarm, reverting to Chime which brings up a few questions as this keeps happening to my system. Questions: Is there anyway to set it so when the playlist is stopped it doesn’t play anything? That Chime is SO annoying. My system is wired so why would it stop playing? I don’t get any notification on Sonos that this has happened so I don’t know how to run a diagnostic. Is there anyway to remote in to resume play? If I’m not on-site, I have to drive over to resume play which is also annoying. Thanks!Mateo
My Connect AMP is having issues connecting over wifi. I tried a hard-reset, but it has now had a flashing orange and white LED for the past 15 minutes. There are no speakers attached so I’m sure it’s not an issue with the speaker arrangement. The Connect was connecting to my system fine over ethernet, but when I tried to connect it over wifi via the update network option, my phone was not able to recognize and connect to the AMP. I’m worried that the wifi on it may be “fried”. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
I recently helped a friend setup a Roam, 2 Sonos One’s and a Move. When we group and want to change the volume for an individual speaker it changes the volume for two of the 4 speakers. For example when I change the volume for the Roam the volume changes for the Roam as well as one of the One speakers. There are no pairs setup. Only happens when in a group. Please note I am aware of group volume and can individually change the volume for each room separately but when I do two rooms volume changes.
Have a set of Ones set up as stereo pair. Stream content from Sonos app works flawless. But when using Airplay, it only stream to one of the two speakers. And to get them working again, I need to re-configure the stereo configuration. (After an Airplay stream, it destroys the stereo setup even streaming from the Sonos app, even configuration is show present. After re-setup it works again.)I have tried to stream directly from Spotify app and using generic Airplay stream from other source with same results. Narrow issue down to Airplay+Stereo Pair in Sonos.
Hi I keep getting adverts for Sonos being carbon mutual or to raise money for the DEC but it’s mid song. Any ideas how to stop this. I haven’t been able to connect my old system to my iPhone and now this
So Sonos crew, i wonder if you can help?First problem, I have 2 sonos one that i have made a stereo pair, the problem i have is that if i talk to my right speaker, and ask it to play music via spotify, Alexa advises that the device is off line. If i give the request to left speaker, the instruction is followed out, but sometimes with a problem. That problem is that even though Alexa says she has understood what i have said, no music plays. However if i say “Alexa, Pause” and then “Alexa Resume” i then get the music.Any one have any ideas? Cheers Neil
Within the last 2 weeks I have bumped into a very frustrating issue. I use Plex to access my stored music on my home media server. It is all ripped as Apple Lossless (M4A). I can login to my collection via the Sonos / Plex service, see all music artists, etc. However, when I attempt to play a song, nothing happens and I eventually see a message: "Unable to play "[SONG TITLE]" - unable to connect to Plex"I have tried to following steps:Reboot modem and switch. Logout and reauthorize Plex service Double checked all setting in Plex server and confirmed Remote AccessYet, I am still unable to play any music.HOWEVER, if I use Plexamp (or the Plex app) and then select one of my Sonos speakers to play, it does work.I have called Sonos support twice, and first-level support is unable to offer any fixes other than the steps already followed. I am also being told that I will receive and email to coordinate a second-level support call, but the email never comes.Any help or ideas to solve are MOST
I bought a Sonos play 5 several years ago. A year later I bought a Sonos Play 3. Then a Sonos Play 1. The bridge I initially bought was damaged, which is why I bought a Sonos 1 about 2 years ago that I use in another room and it served as a bridge. Even though this is version s2, everything worked perfectly even though the Sonos play 5 is not compatible, using the Sonos s1 app. the problems started 2 weeks ago when i decided to buy the sonos roam. I had to remove the Sonos 5 from the s1 app to get it to work. Now the Sonos play 5 is unusable. I can't reinstall it on the Sonos s1 app. but besides that now this app doesn't work and it sends me to app s2, so play 1, play 3 and Sonos 1 don't work either, and they are not detected in app s2. So now I only have the Sonos roam and 4 speakers that don't work. In addition to the above, for several years Sonos has allowed the use of a voice assistant but in Colombia it is not possible, although it is not a problem with Alexa (have an ec
A year or so ago I got my system setup to work, eventually….then moved, so ended up with a new router. Now I can’t get it to work no matter what I’ve tried (router settings, restarting Plex, etc). Plex is running on the My Cloud NAS, and everything works great from Sonos, I can see My Cloud as a source, play from there, etc. I can see both the HD and the Sonos speakers in my Network Folder on my laptop and they all have the same subnet. But not matter what I do I can NOT get the Plex server to ‘see’ any Sonos speakers when I try to Cast using the Players icon at the top (this part used to work).I feel like this must be a gateway thing, but it seems set up right, UDP is enable, it doesn’t appear to be NAT issue.Any ideas? I am also posting in Plex, but thought someone here might know something.Thanks.
When streaming music playing through Sonos randomly it plays a very loud static noise. It does this randomly about every 5 minutes or so. Static only last a second. It over takes the music and comes through all my sonos speakers. I have a playbar, sub, and two play 3’s grouped in the same room, and a play 1 group in another room. I have the playbar connected by Ethernet cable to the modem. Every other speaker is on WiFi. They have good connection with the router as they’re no more then 20’ on the same floor from router.Anyone know the cause of this and how to fix it?
I have a long playlist (3,295 songs) that won’t load completely on my PC where my music collection is stored. It loads ~ 3,149 each time I try, almost to the exact # of 3,149 each time. When I try to load this playlist via my iPhone, I get an error message “Unable to browse music.” I can load other smaller playlists via my phone and completely via my computer, so the issue must be with the number of songs. I found on the Sonos website that the official Sonos limit is 40,000 songs on all playlists, which is what Sonos will sort. The total songs I have on my iPhone and computer via playlists on Sonos is about 5,000, so I'm nowhere near this threshold. So what’s the problem here?
Xfinity/Comcast installed a new router. Everything is working fine except Sonos. I did not change any settings. I have the little white Sonos box and it is plugged into the router. I can see that Sonos is connected to my wi-fi network. I am running Sonos 2.I am able to play songs through Sirius but when I try to play a playlist from my Music Library (organized in itunes), it says server not found and it cannot see my computer. I know that the computer name is correct. What’s wrong? Thanks for any help you can give me.
My Symfonisk seams to playing music a split second faster than my Sonos One, this cause the music to be out of sync. does anyone know a fix?
I just moved to a new house. I set up my Sonos network at the new place with the new router using my phone, but my PC cannot connect to the network. As my music library is on my PC, this is really annoying. Any tips?Again, the IPhone connects but the PC does not.My components are older. I jumped to Sonos +10 years ago and have the original Play 3s and 5s, along with some newer components like the Sonos 1 and Sound Bar.Thanks,Michael
TuneIn will not connect to certain stations at certain times although I can connect to others stations without problems. In this case, these are the stations of Radio-Canada called ICI Musique and ICI Première. I listened to one of them (ICI Musique Montréal) around 12:00 today without problems. When I tried to resume listening 2 hours later, the “Tune In” jingle keeps repeating forever. I tried other ICI Musique stations directly from the TuneIn list but they all do the same. I get this problems regularly (every 2-3 days) and it has been like this for several months but it seems worse to the moment. If I listen to other stations or the music library for a while and come back, it might work again. I hope someone know how to fix this.
I can't play music on my Sonos speakers directly from the Tidal app. However, I can play music from my Tidal account, but only via the Sonos app. I'd like to use the Tidal app to select music and have it play on the Sonos speakers. Is there away to do that? Thanks in advance.
