I have a Sonos Amp that constantly loses connectivity. As soon as I start playing via the Amp, connectivity is lost within minutes. This is an ongoing issue and has been going on for many months. Please advise what is causing this issue and how to resolve. It is extremely frustrating. This is a relatively new device (9 months old) and having looked forward to listening to music through the Sonos amp it is becoming more than frustrating and incredibly disappointing I have a device that does not work as it should 

I have the very first generation of sonos and when I connect my iphone (either via Spotify or directly via the Sonos app) and listen til music - it sounds like an AM radio, breaking up og sound disappearing..

Hi all,I’ve been troubleshooting for a while now, but haven’t been able to locate the problem:I normally play music and podcasts on my Sonos devices through Spotify, and this has been working fine for a long time, but suddenly my sonos devices are not detected anymore in Spotify App. I’m using a Samsung Galaxy S20 FE with Android 12. Sonos devices are, Play 1, play 3, Sonos One (pair) and a sonos AMP, connected on a mesh wifi net with Nokia beacon 1. Stuff I tried:Restarting phone Reconnecting to spotify account in Sonos app Playing Spotify songs from Sonos app (works fine) Updating Sonos speakers from PC app Restarting wifi network, power cycling router (a technicolor router I got through my ISP) Toggling the “show only local devices” in Spotify settings (normally set to “off”, but neither option works) Checking mesh wifi status though Nokia app (didn’t change anything as this is also from my ISP and config is locked - and has worked fine until now) Disabling my DuckDuckGo App trackin

Strange problem.  I have a pair of Fives.  If I’m playing ripped music from the Apple music app on my iPad or iPhone, or from the Amazon Prime app on either, it will play a handful of songs, and then stop.  It’s always at the end of a song, never in the middle, and happens pretty much every time I use it.  It might be after two, three, four, five, etc.  No consistency.  I use my iPhone daily in my car with CarPlay, and it’s never happened.  I also have a HomePod in my office that I stream to from my iPhone (also AirPlay), and it’s never happened there either.  So it’s two different music sources, two different devices, and only with the Sonos speakers.  I also have the Sonos skill setup and can stream from an Echo, and that never stops.  Anyone else experience this?

Hi.  Spotify steaming jumps tracks and completely stop several times a day but  Sonos radio streaming works fine. I have tried to log out everywhere for spotify and it improves for ½ a day then renders usless.i have a fibre broadband package 100Mbs with no data limits.Any thoughts to stop this track jumping and stopping would be most appreciated.

Like many others, my playbar stopped playing sound from my TV.  I tried many things like everyone else to rule out TV and optical cable.  Also, TV sound settings are set to PCM and sound set to optical.Unfortunately, the power cable for the playbar is running behind a wall, so i am unable to try using the playbar with a different TV, at least not easily.Is the optical port on the playbar known to go bad?  Or, is that unlikely and I need to troubleshoot some more?

I am running Plex server (with a Plex pass) on my NAS, and the connection usually works fine. I am able to browse to my Plex and play music successfully from there. If I search for music, it will find hits in Plex, but if I then attempt to go to there, I get "unable to browse music". I've tried restarting everything I can, I've re-authenticated, and it's been doing this for a couple months.

Bought a SONOS one today to replace my broken echo. Set it up to work with Alexa, along with my other devices around the home. I have a play bar in the lounge and a Amazon echo in the kitchen. My new SONOS one is in my bedroom. I noticed almost straight away that it will play the wrong song, but by the correct artist, if I interrupt a currently playing song to ask for a new one… see below… For example, if I say “Alexa, play Waterloo by Abba” it will play the correct song…. But if I then say (during the song), “Alexa, play Beat It by Michael Jackson”, it will say “Now playing beat it by Michael Jackson” but will play a completely different song by Michael Jackson. The only fix, is if I say “Alexa, STOP”… and then ask it to play the new song. My echo device before did not do this. Any ideas?! I’m using Spotify as my preferred music provider. Thanks

Morning,  So…..about a week ago my internet died, had to restart my udm pro a few times to get things working again. Whole network is Ubiquity.  Since then the sonos speakers that have been working for years started playing up. Oddly 3 of them work (wirelessly) but then the wired one of the system which you’d expect to work refuses to play at all, unless it’s grouped to the others. the link station or hub will have no wi fi connection...can i then use a phone cable to the 5;s and playspoitfy is that possible or a similar solution if yourinternet is down and will be down for some timebut your phone is still on

Like others who have posted, I’m so frustrated that the notifications to upgrade to S2 block me from using Sonos.  The recommended solutions are to go to the system menu and confirm you want to stick with S1.   But there’s no way to open the app on my older iPhone.  I just get the notification with Download Sonos S2, More options, or Learn more.  After trying to download S2, I learn it does not work on my iPhone 8, software 14.8.1.  “More options” offers no useful options and “Learn more” is even more useless.  So the playbar/woofer only work with the TV, to which they were previously set.  The Play1 in the kitchen only plays one radio station, to which it was set.  There’s no way that I can find to open S1 and/or change the settings on my devices.  I have tried resetting the system, reinstalling, etc.  All either will not work or makes no difference.  All the posted advice in the threads assume that one can open a Sonos app, but the S2 notifications make that impossible.  I would add

When I stream multi-room including my study (where the port is the only device) several times a day the music will stop in the study with no error visible in the app (but continue playing in the other rooms).  when I check the app, the study is no longer selected.  If I add the study back again it works for awhile (sometimes minutes sometimes hours) before that room falls out again.  it doesn’t seem to matter what streaming music service  I use although I use SiriusXM most frequently.  All of my devices are Wi-Fi connected and I’ve done some basic troubleshooting (Wi-Fi signal strength measuring, google mesh testing, reset router and all mesh devices etc.) without changing the nature of the problem.   where can I start to troubleshoot this - is there an error log someplace I can check? if you have access to support diagnostics, my confirmation number is 220085643. thanks!!  

I added SirusXM service to my Sonos controller.  I can make it play through the speaker if I select it within the Sonos controller, but if i ask Alexa to play it, I get a message that the account has been closed and to talk to Sirus and/or Sonos.  I have re-loaded the service multiple times, downloaded the Sirus software App to my PC, changed PW and user names on the Sirus site and then in Sonos, all with no luck.  I get the same message.   I don’t understand how I can play it through the Sonos speaker when selected within the controller, but can’t access through Alexa/speaker.  Suggestions to get this to work?

My play base disappeared from my Sonos app one day. My play 1 still shows up. I have tried to reset and reconnect multiple times. It only shows in my network if I connect it with an Ethernet cable to my router. Which is not an long term fix for my Situation, this is the first I’m in Six years I have had trouble with it. App is up to date, running Latest build. anyone have any ideas what else I could do?  

I have tied to reset  my password with little   actually no success.   I press the password rest get a link and then update the password and nothing happens  the new password does not work.  It is most annoying and I have made sure that I am using the correct email address and I  follow all the steps.  Still no action   by the way  It is a Roam   I already have a beam and a sonos 1   It is really beyond my comprehension why it is necessary to log into a Sonos account to activate and use / set up/change something that I have paid premium dollars for.  This is enough for me to return the Roam and ask for a credit.    I’d appreciate any and all suggestions

My Sonos Amp:Connect keeps flashing orange (start/pause button) and white (bar below it). I powered it off, disconnected the speakers, re-connected everything again, but lights keep flashing. However, speakers are working ok and music is playing. How do I get the lights to stop flashing?

Hi, I have a Sonos One SL speaker and have tried to connect multiple times, but the app always shows cannot connect to my speaker, even tho I have tried reset the speaker, the app and the router.  However, on one occasion, I plugged my speaker to the wall socket, instead plugging it on the extension power board, I can connect it again. After properly setting up device (finally), and connect Sonos to Spotify, next day, I have the same issue again. BUT, I can find the Sonos Speaker system in my Spotify and able to use it, but not via the Sonos App.  Can anyone please tell me what is the problem here?? 

Hello! In the apartment complex, we live in, the central electrical wiring was burning, causing massive power surges in the entire house that destroyed many devises including 4x Play:1 speaker.I bought the Sonos speakers in 2014 in Germany and meanwhile moved to Delhi, India. I am looking now for any way to get them repaired without having to send them around the world. Does Sonos themselves provide such a service or can anybody recommend an independed repair shop in the Delhi NCR area? Thank you! Best,Fabian

When trying to play from Apple Music I get an ‘Unable to connect to Apple Music’ error.This has been persisting for over a week now.I have removed and re added my Apple Music account multiple times and this doesn’t fix the issue.I have reset my system and my router and this hasn’t fixed the issue.Apple Music works fine on all my other devices and other services like Sonos radio & Tune in work fine on Sonos.This is incredibly frustrating as I now have an entire Sonos system that is unusable.

Hi all, thanks in advance for your help.  Here’s the setup:1 Sonos Connect2x Play 1 Speakers2x Technics 1200 mk21 Rane TTM 56S mixer  Issue: Playing vinyl from both turntables through one play speaker for years, no problem. Sonos connect plugs to Master Output plugs on mixer.Today, paired a second Play 1 Speaker; now only the right turntable plays through both speakers, and the left turntable only coming out of the one original Play speaker.  Thoughts? 

I have 4 speakers. I can group 3 together my one, play:1 and beam and I have no issues.When I add my symfonisk table lamp to the group the music cuts out or stops altogether.All 4 speakers are within 7 or 8 meters of my wifi hub.Any ideas??

I noticed this problem earlier this week. From my Sonos Favorites, I click on The Loft (Ch. 710) and i get the message. “Unable to play the selected item”.  Go to SiriusXM service and click on All Channels and all  of the 700 series channels are missing, the highest one listed is 470.  I removed the SiriusXM app and reinstalled it and no change.  I use the Sonos  S1 controller. Someone needs to fix this please.
