Everytime Outlook is running sonos tops playing when an new emial arrives.What can we done??

My playbar sound is echoing. Watching the sports and when the presenters talk over music or other sounds it really echos. When the background noise on tv is silent the speech is perfect and no echo from playbar. Tried tuning and play 1s which are in surround mode. Tv speakers are off

My audio guy put in a brand new Playbar connected to a Sony TV in March.  for 8 months now they have been making changes to the sonos (Hard wired) settings, settings in the TV, and the network itself.  The latest being they turned off the TV Autoplay.  But the problem keeps happening.  They have tried Apple Music, Amazon Music and Sonos radio.  It can play for hours and then all of a sudden skip three or four times.  Sometimes it skips 10-15 minutes in.  In other words it’s random.  It’s connected to the TV via fiber.  The TV Audio output doesn’t seem to have the same issue.  Also, if we unplug the fiber, it seems to not happen.  I say it seems because I don’t trust Sonos.  The audio guy even tried a second Sonos and the same issue happens.  They think the TV “sends a signal” every so often that tries to take over the playbar audio.  However, even turning off TV Autoplay the issue continues.   

I have 2 Bose 251 outdoor speakers onnected to a Connect: AMP.  For the couple years,  I have noticed a static noise coming from my right speaker.  I have since replaced all the speakers and wires, and the noise is still coming out of the right speaker?  I have a run less than 40 ft and using 12 gauge outdoor speaker.Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I’m trying to play the same source thru all three but I can’t get media room source into the two other rooms.  All speakers work individually but when I want all speakers to play the media room I only get a hiss at top volume from the other rooms. 

I own a Playbase, Soundbar, Sonos One, three Play:1, two Connects and I live in a 1,500 SF house with an Eero mesh network. I struggle all the time to have them work. I spent two hours yesterday had them all connected and then unplugged a Play:1 to move it; plugged it back in a three speakers dropped. This morning I only have two showing up again. I go through the “Find as missing product” and push the Play + Plus and it’ll flash orange until the “Searching for Product” finishes and then the blinking orange goes Solid white and the prompt is asking for Flashing Orange. I try connecting The speaker I work mainly through my phone for setups. I hook a speaker straight to the router and it won’t notice it (them). I try Altenrnative Set Ups as directed, nothing. I try the set up a Sonos WiFi when prompted to do so and it doesn’t appear in my Networks. I try a complete reset not the speakers and it’ll see the speaker but won’t allow it to set up; says it can’t connect. I’m so frustrated; I’v

Having problems with my Sonos System, multiple times a day, it will reboot (knocks off all Sonos devices). I have a Sonos boost connected. Diagnostics Number: 1284781800.

After moving my TV I now connect from Sonos AMP to a 2019 Samsung The Frame via a fibre optic hybrid HDMI 2.0 18GBS cable. I cannot get any sound via the AMP (which is also connected to a Sonos Sub and 2 x Play:1s). Stuck with the TV’s speakers, which is a downer. Speakers all work for music.The Sonos happily sets up the speakers via HDMI ARC, you get the success tone through the speakers every time. But the TV (while set to output via the Sonos) is silent. Every 3rd or 4th time you do the Sonos TV setup, you get TV sound through the speakers for 3 or 4 seconds…. until you get the success tone, after which it is back to silence! Any suggestions please? I’ve restarted and replugged all this 100 times now and am tearing my hair out.

For some reason, there is an error authorising my Spotify premium account through the Sonos IPad app.  No error code, just a bland message stating error.

Can connect be used with Sonos S2?

If I play Spotify via Sonos after a few minutes the connection will be lost. Playing via Spotify directly and choosing my Sonos speakers plays fine. All updates have been applied. I have sent a Sonos diagnostic report. 

Hi,I have several wired access points and one WiFi SSID throughout the house. The only difference between the access points is the WiFi channel which is different to avoid overlaps. The network is a gigabit and I have no problems with any other device connected to it.I have two Sonos-One in the living room connecting to the WiFi on access point 1 and an Amp in the Bar area connecting to the WiFi on access point 2.When I open the Sonos App from anywhere in the house, it connects without problems. After connecting, if I move with my iPhone to a different area of the house, its WiFi connects to a different access point (1 or 2 or 3 all wired), in those situations I battle for a while to connect to the Sonos devices. Basically I cannot see any of them for few minutes, then out of the blue the phone finally connects to the Sonos even from that area of the house.Router:GT-AX11000Access points: Tp-Link Re450 Access point mode Is there any solution for this problem?Thank you for supporting.

Hello,I just recently added a Sonos Beam to my two Play:1 setup, and put them into Surround mode. I have a small apartment in a very urban area. I’m experiencing cut out on my two surrounds. Router location makes it difficult to wire the Beam in; but my right Play:1 is connected to the router by Ethernet. Wireless is on for all devices.  I’ve reset all of my products and set them up from scratch again, but the issue persists.  Any ideas, besides buying a long cat6 cable?Diagnostic # 2107913978

I purchased two Sonos Moves within the past year.  One is currently displaying a flashing red light.  The Sonos Move is still playing.  I can’t tell if there is a major problem.  I’m currently using Apple Play through my iPhone without issue.  I’m able to pause and play songs, skip songs from my iPhone.  I can pause and increase the volume from the Move device.I put the Move on the charger and the red light went away.  The battery did not show as being low through Sonos.

Updates have been frustrating since I bought my initial Sonos products 3 years ago.  It’s time to update again and I cannot get it to work over several tries. Set up:Android running newest version of the app (S2)Bedroom - 1 One (wifi)Living Room - 1 sub, 1 Playbar, 2 Ones as surround l+r (wifi)Backyard - 1 Amp (wired) Only the Living Room products show as requiring an update.  Update fails every time with code 30.  I tried doing one device only (sub), but saw the surround ones blinking white/orange during the process. I found some help here stating to change the wifi channel for the Sonos products and then the upgrade should work.  Guess what - can’t change the channel until the update has been completed - Catch 22. What else can I try?Support Diagnostics confirmation: 1646504668

Hi There, I have sent you a diagnostic Data and its Number is 82306999. I can successfully Connect to mu playbar via wired eth.cable but I cannot Connect it via wi-fi. It can find all available wi-fi connection, but it cannot Connect to it. It says wrong password, but I am sure the password is right since I checked it via my smart phone.  I believed I could reset it to factory settings, but it is failed wi-fi connection again.  Could you please help me about the problem??? Hi,I really hope someone can help. I feel like I have searched and searched but still not found the answer to my problem.I have a Sage router, but use Google Mesh WiFi at home. I can connect my Sonos One (2x) directly to my Sage router’s WiFi (which is not used) but I cannot connect it to my Google Mesh WiFi. I have tried deactivating the WiFi on my Sage router, as I read this could work. No luck. I have tried connecting Sonos and Google Mesh by ethernet. No luck. I have done a bunch of factory resets. Nothing.My xiaomi roborock can use Google Mesh just fine. Why can’t Sonos?Any ideas?

Hi, I have a problem switching my Sonos setup to wired connection (due to dropouts in wireless mode). I am trying to connect Sonos speakers to the same DHCP service when wired as when they are wireless (wired and wireless connection share the same VLAN, as my phone on which Im trying to set this up does - since it works in wireless, the problem shouldn’t be there). Ethernet cable is in tact (i even see there is some traffic on the port when I look into the switch web interface), however when I try to disable wifi in Sonos app/when I turn off the SSID to which they connect, do not get a connection (can’t even ping the device). When i look at IP:1400/status/ifconfig after it gets back online to wireless, it shows under eth0 that majority of RX packets were dropped… This is weird, since it goes through exactly the same switches, as my AP and it enters the router through the same trunk - I don’t see any way how when it goes through AP it would get accepted, but when it goes through cable i

Hi,Anyone having problems listening to SiriusXM Holiday Channels?  I am able to listen to some of them just fine.  Others, like the newly added channels this year are not working.  I get the message “Unable to play the selected item”.  The problem seems to be with the streaming channels in the 700s.  776, 778, 781, and 784 seem to play fine on my Sonos system.  Streaming channels 780, 783, and 785 do not play at all.   I went to the SiriusXM “Listen Now” site and can play all of these channels.  Any ideas on how to fix this would be appreciated.  I am looking for a solution, not opinions.Thank you. 

Hi,I’ve just bought a new Sonos Beam and it’s having trouble playing music from my Spotify account. I’m getting error messages including “The connection to Spotify was lost” from the Sonos app, while the Spotify app struggles to connect to my Sonos speaker when I try to change the playback device to the speaker. Sometimes it works and then quickly disconnects, other times it struggles to connect in the first place.  I’m using the Beam over WiFi because an Ethernet connection isn’t practical. I have it connected to a Netgear Orbi mesh WiFi router which itself is hardwired to a DrayTek Vigor130 modem.  Alternative music services like TuneIn seem to work flawlessly.  Any idea what the problem is here?

I have 11 Sonos devices. 9 are connect amps all connected via Ethernet and a switch to the router. 2 are Sonos 1s connected wirelessly. All of the Amps play nicely no matter the grouping, and can be added/removed/controlled perfectly. When I add the 1s to any group of Amps—-many problems. It struggles to get added to the group, requiring several tries. Once connected, problems adding songs to the queue, problems starting a station, and if it does start the 1s cut in and out.  I also have a playbar Ethernet cornnrcted and the Sub wireless.  suggestions?

We bought our system when Sonos first came out so everything is first generation. We purchased the Bridge, Soundbar, and the Sub.The bridge stopped working long ago but the system still played and we could play music through it. We just recently changed our modem and internet plan and we cannot get it to work at all now. Everything says to plug our speakers into the modem by Ethernet but there is not a Jack in either one to support this.I would like to be able to still use this system. Please help.

lost my speaker connection between Yamaha receiver and older Sonos Connect

Having an ongoing issue that is not allowing me to use any services on app. The app indicates that speakers need to be Linked to Account - See Error messages attached. Need help addressing. Do not want to do factory reset unless advised. After clicking to see 4 issues I am prompted to “Link Products” including (2) play1 sound bar & sub. After attempt, receive another error message indicating “Set Up Problems”.Connection & time settings are fine. Audio playback is perfect. I have no access to app functions. This sometimes includes options such as TruPlay. This issue occurred after moving into new home.
