This is happening more often than not now and seems to be a common issue on here. The chime often plays instead of radio. When manually turning on the radio channel there are no issues with it starting.Diagnostic number is 1767545854.
Today I noticed that non of my Moves (I've got two) shows how much battery is left when on Bluetooth. The Sonos app only shows an empty battery and no numbers. What should I do?
Hi,I have a mix of S1 and S2 products running on the S1 and S2 controllers. However now I have been asked to do system updates on both and reauthorize my Spotify account. Trouble is neither controller will perform the update as it says I have incompatible products on each (I.e the S2 products are picked up by S1 and vice versa). and I can’t remove the products as it says I have to update first! has anyone had this issue and be able to help?! thanks!
I've seen a lot of similar posts, but nothing that seems to be a 1:1 match with my issue, so here goes... A much more vinyl savvy friend than I recently purchased a turntable for me as a birthday gift. Out of the box it has Bluetooth connectivity; however, being firmly planted within the Sonos ecosystem I went and purchased a Connect so that I could utilize the speakers setup throughout the house. Setup went off without a hitch as I've come to expect with these products and I was beginning to enjoy my small record collection within minutes; however, things took a turn for the worse about 45mins to an hour in... The sound became increasingly scratchy, distorted, and quiet to the point that I had to turn the speakers volume completely up to hear anything. I found an example from a previous post that closely matches what the music began to sound like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZlnRUo_egoE Kinda similar to a radio station as the signal fades. Being an old record, I thought maybe th

I have recently upgraded to the Netgear Nighthawk M60 wifi mesh system. I setup the wifi network in AP mode since my router is a Huwei 5G CPE Pro and doesn’t support modem-only mode. I currently have a Move, Playbar, and 2 Sonos Ones. I reset each of the speakers and re-added them into my system. I am only having a connectivity issue with my Office Sonos One which sits on my desk next to the Nighthawk Satellite. If I unplug the power from my satellite and restart the Sonos app, the One connects every single time. Once I plug the satellite back in, the One will eventually drop from the system. I have submitted a diagnostic report: #1323332556. I have seen several other tickets regarding mesh systems dropping speakers but none of the guidance has resolved my issue.
Bonjour,Quelqu’un pourrait t-il m’aider?Impossible de jouer une radio ou d'écouter TidalJe ne sais pas comment faire…Merci pour votre retour.Jean-Jacques
Hi all,Just recently my Sonos amp (older model), stopped working. One day I went to use air and it wouldn’t sync with my iPhone. I repaired them and it worked - only for about 5mins and then cut out again. It said that Sonos was unable to connect with iPhone. It happened a few times now. Can anyone tell me why? Is it my amp playing up? A particular setting not working? Thanks!Chris
Hello My diagnostics report number is: 1482044825 The left output and LFE sub channel on my Sonos Amp is not working properly. The problem started today after I did some rewiring around my house and reconnected the amp. Due to this problem I have tried hard resetting the Amp and the app, with no luck. Left and LFE channel does not work with Line in. I have verified that my PC is not the problem as I tried a different amplifier and both channels worked. The only way to get both speakers working is if I run the amp in Mono mode, but I don’t want that. I want to use stereo. The speakers are not the problem since I tried them on a different amp. Both speakers work while using Spotify or any other streaming WITHIN the Sonos app, but the subwoofer output channel does not work in any mode I try. I verified that the balance on both my PC and Sonos was on 0, so both channels should be working. Sonos AMP is simply not accepting the LEFT channel signal I tried with different cables, made
My current Sonos system is only a Play:1 and now a brand new Five so I can hook up a CD player. I’m using a new RCA (red & wht) to 3.5 mm cable. The Play:1 and Five are not grouped and are configured as separate rooms. I’ve read and think I’ve followed the Sonos documentation for setting up and using the Five with a line-in device. I simply get no sound, but the system looks like it is playing. I also set the autoplay and checked that the audio-delay was already set for 2,000ms (although I believe this is only needed if the two speakers were grouped, correct?).My CD player is an older Sony carrousel 5-disk DVD/CD player . I’ve plugged the RCA red//white into the section labeled “TV Audio In” red/white receptacles (also has a yellow RCA receptacle labeled “Video Out” next to it). I’ve also tried the only other RCA red/white receptacles set which is labeled “Sat/Cable Audio In”. There is nothing labeled “Audio Out”. There are two pairs of proprietary speaker receptacles and one “HDMI
Room (on new Amp) appears on some S2 apps but not on others? All hardware up to date. Reinstalled S2 app and the problem persisted. What’s going on?
Hi,The socket on the optical port on my LG TV is broken and sound no longer pays via my Playbar. I have read that you can get and HDMI Arc to Optical converter. Should this set up work in theory?
I am having issues with my Sonos Play 3 and the S2 app on the iPhone. The Play 3 is in my garage which borders my family room where my Fios router is. I have a Boost connected via Ethernet to the router. When I am using the S2 app in the garage, the app says I’m not connected to WiFi (even though the phone itself is still connected to WiFi.) I can’t search on Spotify within the app, and I can’t control the Play 3’s volume. As soon as I go through the door into the house, the app reconnects and works normally. I’ve tried factory resetting all of the speakers and the boost. I’ve also tried resetting my router. I’ve tried changing the wireless channel for SonosNet I also tried changing the wireless channel settings on my router from automatic to manual. Nothing has helped How do I solve this problem? thanks,Rich
I have a Sonos setup with Port and Play1. It worked fine until I changed my email adress on Sonos. Suddenly no sound came through the port. The network is okay, cables are ok, and the port shows normally in my Sonos app. I do get music through the Play 1, bu not the Port
I haven't used the Sonos app for a while as I have been playing from Spotify to the speakers so cannot really say with confidence how long this issue has been around. However, since using the S1 app, so I suppose since march, it has not been able to find the Sonos system. When attempting to connect to an existing system, it prompts me to press the mute and vol+ buttons, which I do, which the app recognises me doing, but after a couple of minutes of scanning, it fails to connect. On Android it tells me it has connected and returns back to the setup screen.I have 4 1st gen play 5s which I have owned from new for around 9 years, one of which is connected via ethernet.Spotify is still able to communicate with the devices when playing via my phone and recognises the stereo pair I have, so something is working, just the official app seems to struggle.I noticed when logging into my Sonos account that the devices were last registered 14-16 march 2020 but not sure what that actually means.Any
I want to set up two subs in my living room surround sound, can this be done?
Hello,I have a Sonos Play base and every time I try to set up the Play base on the app my wireless connection is not picking up. I’ve tried factory reset and unplugging the Play base but still no luck.I also bought the Sonos boost since it has its own Sonos wifi connecting the boost to my Wifi router but still no luck again & its not picking up my Play base to set it up in the app.I need help on solving this problem it has been going on for a while!
I recently purchased the port component to integrate my 5 speakers surround system with Sonos. Set up was easy - problem I am having is only two of my five speakers are playing (the front two). I confirmed via other sources that all five speakers work fine so its something going on with the port. To confirm, the port should be able to stream all five speakers, correct? My receiver is set up as “Stereo” which normally would play all speakers in harmony (not surround sound). Appreciate any assistance with this!
Hi, last few days my music playback from Spotify stops and skips on my Connect:Amp. Other products (Playbar, 2xPlay3/ are ok. Im on S2 thats been working great until now. Tried to reset Connect following the instructions but with no luck...The system is able to recognize the device even after an attempt to reset it, so Im not able to set it as a new device…Any help would be welcomethanksj.

I have a Play5 and have successfully linked it to iTunes on my windows 10 pc. More often than not the sonos app complains that it can't find the server. This is usually fixed by either rebooting my pc or the router but it happens a lot and is spoiling the enjoyment for me. Anyone else come across this problem?
I seem to have a rogue track on one room setup ( Beam plus 2 Play1’s). Not on the queue playlist but just appears and unable to stop/delete or play any other track … really weird - anyone got ideas or solutions
Hi I have a mixed S1 + S2 system comprising two Play:5 (1st gen), one Play:1 (1st gen) and one Sonos One. I am running the S1 app. Last night a guest connected to the system and I think she was using the S2 app and may have tried to run an upgrade which failed. Not sure of this. Anyway - now only the two Play:5s work, while the Play:1 and Sonos One both display as “Not compatible”, and according to the help pages, I need to remove these from my system now, and reconfigure them from scratch. I am trying to do this, but in the S1 app the product removal tool is not an available option to me. What to do?Best regards Marius
A new issue has arisen in recent months: the radio blips, sometimes several times and hour. It goes silent and then after a few seconds it comes back. I followed all these suggestions to no affect: https://support.sonos.com/s/article/305?language=en_US First I thought it was my 6 year old Connect being, well, just old, but the same issue is happening on 2 brand new Ones.
