Can’t Update be Use of Incompatible Products on S1 and S2

Hi,

I have a mix of S1 and S2 products running on the S1 and S2 controllers.

However now I have been asked to do system updates on both and reauthorize my Spotify account. 
 

Trouble is neither controller will perform the update as it says I have incompatible products on each (I.e the S2 products are picked up by S1 and vice versa). 
 

and I can’t remove the products as it says I have to update first! 
 

has anyone had this issue and be able to help?!

One thing you might try is simply unplugging all devices from one system while updating the other. If they’re unplugged, they won’t be ‘found’ while trying the update. 

However, I would certainly submit a diagnostic from both controllers before updating and contact Sonos directly. It does seem odd that there are no other reports of this, but providing them hard data to review might help them figure out why this is happening to you, and not others who have a similar setup.
