Are there any connectivity issues with Orbi mesh 754?  Thinking of replacing my system. 

Hi everyone,I’m having an issue with my Sonos Era 100 and was hoping someone here might have a solution.When I ask Alexa to play music, it doesn’t respond as expected. I’ve tried disabling and re-enabling the Apple Music skill in the Alexa app, but it hasn’t resolved the problem. Alexa keeps saying that I need to enable the skill in the Alexa app, even though I’ve already done that.Has anyone else experienced this issue or have any suggestions on how to fix it?Thanks in advance for your help!Best,Joey Rowe

Hi, the Move 1 seems to have a great microphone. But it is too sensitive if someone has other Alexa devices in other rooms.Even 20 meters away between a distance of three rooms, a ‚Alexa‘ with normal speaking volume, will trigger the Move to answer. Unfortunately there is no option go change the activation word or regulate the sensitivity of the mics. please consider this in an update (of course i‘m on the current App Version and Sonos Firmware        

I have just bought a Move 2, it is all set-up and has the latest Update.  I am looking to add Amazon Alexa so I use the required route, System Settings - Manage - Voice Assistants - Amazon Alexa - Add to Another Product - Select that Product and then it tells me I have to sign into Amazon Music and I get the dreaded spinning wheel.  My other Sonos products still work fine with Alexa.  I waited 105 minutes on hold for customer services who told me everything I was doing was right and it was a global issue.  That was one week ago today.  I’m still getting the same issues today.  Surely this can’t be a complicated thing to fix and surely this can’t be happening to everyone buying Sonos kit and wanting to use Alexa?  I still have the original box so have no choice but to return as I bought it just to play music via Alexa in the Garden.  Anyone got any pearls or an ETA for this to be fixed?

Recently got the Beam Gen 2 and couldn’t be happier...until I tried playing Spotify via Google Assistant voice command. Every time I say “Hey Google, play XXXXX on Spotify”, it just says “Ok, playing XXXXX on Spotify. Sorry, Spotify Premium isn’t currently available.” Have tried everything, including the following steps:Unlinked and relinked everything multiple times — Sonos app, GA and Google Home. Ensured voice integration is sorted — all other GA commands work fine. Spotify set to preferred music streaming on Sonos app and GA. Checked that it’s indeed Spotify Premium account. Even created a new dummy account from a free Spotify Family plan.Any advice?

Please add YouTube Music to Sonos Voice Control.

My Sonos beam 2 has been working fine, I recently updated my tv and reconnected the Beam, sound works fine but my Alexa has stopped working, I have tried turning the mic on by touching the beam but it does not turn on. The app says Alexa is connected 

Three days ago my Sonos Move stopped working with Alexa commands… Nothing to my knowledge has changed. Its just stopped listening!I have tried all the resets that are advised etc and still nothing… help? 

After working perfectly for years, Alexa suddenly wasn’t working.  I had a lengthy level 2 tech support intervention which led to full factory reset of my Sonos Beam.Now can’t get SiriusXM to work properly. When I ask “Play SiriusXM channel X”, Alexa through the Beam answers “<channel name> on Sirius XM” and….. nothing.  Alexa/SiriusXM works fine on other non-Sonos products so it is correctly linked to my Alexa account. Have unlinked, reloaded multiple times.Any advice? 

Sonos app updated and Sonos Beam quit working with Alexa.  I have tried disabling the skill and re installing.  And unplugging beam.  No luck

Is it just me but the latest Sonos release is nothing but painful when it comes to integrations with anything other than Sonos. I have noticed integration with Alexa not behaving consistently or at all, and integrations with Samsung smartthings also failing and not reliable. This is pretty much made Sonos integration with Alexa routines and with smartthings routines pointless. Is anyone else experiencing the same issues? Anyone with any workarounds?

All of my 5 SONOS speakers are identified and linked.  Amazon Music is my chosen streaming source.  However, I cannot get music that I choose from my Amazon playlists to play on SONOS (but it WILL play on my JBL Flip 5). I don’t know whether Amazon is trying to limit the playing to just 1 speaker?   Or this is a SONOS issue?

I have an ARC in the living room and a One in the kitchen. These are grouped in Alexa and Sonos in a group called downstairs.For years I could say Alexa, play music downstairs and both rooms would play.Some recent update has broken this. Now the same command only plays on the device listening to the voice command, not both. However if I manually group living room and kitchen in Sonos, stop playback in Sonos then ask Alexa to play downstairs both devices play correctly. I know I saw this same behavior in another post but I have not seen a resolution.Any help?

I’ve just finished factory resetting my entire system to work with the newly released app. Finally, everything is connected. However, I now can’t use Alexa with my Beam. It’s connected but the microphone setting is locked to off. I can get the microphone to work Sonos Voice Control, but Alexa still does not respond. I’ve already tried disabling and re-enabling the skill in Alexa several times. There is no way that I can find to remove Alexa from the voice assistant section in the new app. I am beyond frustrated with the loss of functionality and all the extra, convoluted steps now required to get anything done. Any help would be greatly appreciated. 

Hello,I just received my new Sonos ERA 100. I want to use amazon alexa as a voice assistant for it. I find information that it has built in amazon alexa voice assistant. When I go to the voice assistant choise in the app I see three choises: sonos (enabled), amazon alexa and google assistant. When I choose amazon alexa it shows me the information that I should go to alexa app and include the sonos device in it. But It doesn’t give me the option to login to my alexa account and to choose alexa as a voice assistant. Am I doing something wrong? Sonos voice assistant works fine but I’m used to alexa and would like to use it instead…Thanks for any help.Albertas

My speakers all stopped working it's took me days to get them all back on and connected the only problem I have is when I ask Alexa something she no longer makes a sound so I know she is listening please help

I had to reset my system and now the mic button isn’t working. I have tried to add Alexa voice function as I read that this could be a fix but it says that it needs to verify my country first and need to add a country to my profile. I’ve done this and it makes no difference. Any ideas for what I can try next?

Since the new app update - all of my products that are connected to my boost (about 75% of my system) show as “Network Unavailable” and therefore cannot have Voice Control set up.  They are definitely connected devices and in the System Info page they all show “WM:SONOSNET” (BTW - this appears to be new to me but assuming it just means they are connected to the Boost). Does anyone know how to get your speakers on Voice control when connected to the boost?

Is there a way of connecting a Sonos Era 300 to ring with a third Gen Ring doorbell works on some of my other devices but not my Era 300s?

My desktop app has failed to update - the help page says delete it and re-download - can anyone tell me where to download this from pleas as cannot find any links at all?Has anyone else had the same issue? 

I would like more control over the voice feedback. I love Giancarlo as much as the next guy, but he often sounds way louder than my music.  Also, I’d like the option to have Sonos just follow my commands and skip telling me what it’s doing.  I feel like people have been asking for these things for as long as Sonos has taken voice commands.

I am unable to contact support. I have spent hours trying to get Voice Assistant to work. It tells me I must first put my country in my profile, which I have done, but it still won’t let me. The microphone is not working.
