Is anyone able to use Alexa through their Sonos speakers???

All of a sudden last weekend, Alexa stopped responding through my Sonos One speakers. I spent 4 hours in a chat session with Amazon and they can’t figure out why the Alexa app shows all my Sonos devices as offline. I’ve uninstalled speakers in Sonos, I’ve disabled and re-enabled the  Sonos skill in Alexa and deleted and re-installed the Alexa app. I did each of these numerous times.

I have to wonder, with the nightmare Sonos has put us through with the new app if they haven’t done something else that has now disabled Sonos from working with Alexa.

Any info would be appreciated.

I've had the same problem since 8/11 and tried the same steps.  The sonos app was automatically updated just before this started.

I'm looking for sonos alternatives now.

Just rechecked Alexa.  It shows "device offline" and says "sorry something went wrong" but did resume playing on one device.  Tried a second time and it wouldn't work.

I found a solution. I got into a chat session with Sonos and, after a lengthy troubleshooting exercise, Alexa was activated. It involved deleting the speakers from the Sonos app, doing a factory reset on both Ones, then readding them, reactivating voice services and that allowed Alexis to see the speakers as working. It took over an hour with Sonos but the tech solved the issue completely.

I'm happy you're running again.  This was caused by bad software and a terrible software development process IMO.
